      Sept 9, 2024 I called AM for to make an appointment to view cars . I specifically said I was shopping around. I was at work when I called this business. The business called me back after work and asked me if I wanted to view a truck I said sure I would stop by.During the phone conversation on Bluetooth I realized the business would be closed but we can view the truck outside . On the phone the salesman asked my name asked where we lived and confirmed my number . I made it very clear I did not want to give my SIN and did not want anything looked into I was shopping around. 5:30 pm we made it to the business the store was closed the sales man was on his way out he pointed the truck out (definitely was not interested. Said thank you and goodbye. Sept 12 I received a call from the business I ignored it I was not interested. Sept 13 I found a dealership and a car I wanted in a different location different business different sales man . I signed a docusign and consented to having my credit ran. This business informed me AM **** ran my credit sept 10th . I did not give consent for this business at all to run my credit I never even stepped foot inside the business. I was really upset and it almost hindered my ability as it is a hard inquiry on my credit. The business denied any wrong doing. I feel this is fraud and looking into my personal information without any consent or even stepping inside the business premises. I am also scared they have my information and will continue to do what they please with this. The manager denied his employee did anything wrong and I could not prove he didnt have my consent .

      Please find attached paper work in response to the alleged claim.   Ms ***** had originally sent in ******* inquiry on Sept 9 2024  at 1:01 PM showing that she was running her credit score from our Website.  A sales person and finance associate were then assigned to her as we receive notification when someone inquires on our web site with Equifax. Relevant information is attached regarding conversations by phone and in person.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      Although I clicked on the website and accepted the calls I was unaware I would have an inquiry on my credit report by simply speaking to a sales person over the phone. I would like to have that removed and I am now very aware that even speaking to someone and telling any information about yourself or even looking at something can affect my credit. I do not think that is a normal process of business. If this person was doing this for 67 years I do not blame him for doing his job,  I blame the business for being completely unprofessional very shady.

      As per previous letter signed.  Mr ***** is still saying he had permission from Ms *************** It is unfortunate that she feels the way she does but we are not able to do anything else with the situation.
