5 starsSold my ******* to Canada Drives, an excellent experience and would recommend them to friends and family.Found them on line, entered my vehicle VIN and was quickly given an offer. Spoke to **** (great guy) he reviewed a number of points on the vehicle and asked me to send a series of photos, including pointing out any damage to the vehicle. An email arrived shortly after our conversation detailing what they were looking for. Completed the photos,**** called me back to review photos and damage, revised the offer down to reflect the damage repairs. Offer was still acceptable and agreed to sell. Provided **** with some documentation and he advised he would get back to me.Received a docu-sign bill of sale from ***, completed it and arranged an appointment to drop the car off. ***** was the technician completing the final inspection which involved a test drive, OBD scan and a visual inspection. ***** found everything in order as I had advised and accepted the vehicle.Remainder of documentation completed and cash was in my bank account within 12 hours. An excellent easy process, price was fair for the vehicle and everyone I dealt with was pleasant and up front in explaining the process. If you are selling your vehicle this is a great option, better than Kijiji or marketplace in you don't have to deal with test drives, certification of the vehicle and just dealing with people trying to buy your car.Review fromDerek M

1 starUses misleading advertising and sneaky fine print to compromise consumers. They have no inventory to view and send your info out to local dealers with little to no morals. They compromise consumers by and expose them to credit damage by use of predatory practices and data farming. They should be forced to change their practices and adhere to ethical methods of providing sales leadsReview fromJulie D

1 starApplied online through Canada Drives. Was pre-approved for a vehicle, win! They sent me to SAS Motors, main branch in *********, but a smaller branch in ********* called Approval Credit on King ******* ***, who is the guy at this location, said I was preapproved but didn't tell me the amount. Asked what type of vehicles I was looking for and so I told him a ****** or a VW SUV. He said those were both out of my price range, but the one he had here, a **** Escape, was about the only one in my range. So I test drove it. Found some noises and let *** know. He said that I shouldn't worry, the mechanic would find everything and the car would be safetied and it would be fine! 2 weeks later, got the call to pick up the vehicle, yay! Went to pick it up and drove off the lot...the noises were still there. I text *** and told me to bring it to my mechanic and get a quote and he would take care of it. So I brought it to the ************ dealership in ******** and dealt with *********************, the service advisor, and only charged me for half the inspections. I paid $400 and I emailed ***, as well as Sully from the main SAS Motors branch, the quote was and what was wrong. A control arm, all 4 tires were chunking and splitting ,with an alignment, a boot and the felt underneath the vehicle also needed to be replaced, all for $3500. So *** said my warranty would cover everything. I said no, I don't want to go under the warranty or have the vehicle taken to YOUR mechanic because YOUR mechanic let my car go like this in the first place, so he sent me to another mechanic. This mechanic, *************************** on Manitou, dealt with me in a fair manner, did his own diagnosis. All 4 tires needed to be replaced, with an alignment, and BOTH control arms needed fixing for$2260, as my car was UNSAFE to drive!!! How did a car get through a safety if it was unsafe to drive!! The garage invoiced Ray directly and now *** hasn't paid for the work that needed to be done on my vehicle!Review fromTrevor T

1 starI filled out an online form for a free credit report about 3 years ago. I have been harassed by this company ever since. They call and text every few weeks trying to get me take their high interest loans. They have given my information to multiple other companies offering the same thing (high interest loans). I have asked many times to be removed from their lists. There is no escape from this company unless you change your phone number.Review fromCynthia T

1 starI had a very poor experience with Canada Drives. I contacted in regards to selling my vehicle. I revived a response from them offering just under $26000.I submitted all the required information and photos.Within a few days they called me saying the offer had come down a little bit. A little bit being $4000, this amount to me is not a little bit, it's a 15% drop, and this was even before they had seen the vehicle. I feel that they would have low balled me even further.I'm very disappointed with this experience and wouldn't recommend using there service.Review fromDeborah M

Terrible service. Posted ad said vehicle had back up camera. Additional note said back up camera inoperable. I emailed asking about the contradiction and they said back up camera was inoperable. I said I would like to buy the vehicle but I needed the back up camera to be working. The answer came back that they would not repair the back up camera before selling it to me. Seems very suspicious and it was it was an easy fix surely they would've done it so it must be an expensive repair. They are asking top dollar for an eight-year-old vehicle and I would expect everything to be working.Canada Drives Ltd

Hi *******,We are sorry to hear your experience was anything less than positive, customer service is very important to us and we would like the opportunity to address your concerns. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. When our vehicles are priced by our pricing team, we do factor in the condition of the vehicle and the features available in the unit. In this case, the vehicle you selected had a non-operational backup camera, this feature was advertised as non-operational and the price on our website reflected a lower amount due to the feature not working correctly. Our pricing team works diligently to price our vehicles competitively in the market and the price of the vehicle is based on many factors including, location, black book value, condition, features, and demand. We work hard to disclose all major damages or missing features on our website that could affect a customer's decision to buy a ********************. If our team had chosen to repair the backup camera initially, the price of the vehicle would have been adjusted based on the feature being operational. If you are currently looking for a vehicle with a backup camera or have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly and our team would be happy to assist you.Thank you,Ammera - Customer Experience Manager **************************************************Review fromAlysa L

1 starWhole experience with Canada drives from beginning to end was horrible. I drove 5 hours to pick up a car (they knew I lived far away) to get there for them to last minute tell me car wasnt ready, then to have head office call and say my internet bill, license, insurance, pay stub and bank statements werent sufficient enough as proof of address, this should have been sorted before I spent over a thousand dollars on gas, accommodation, and a guest to drive my old car back for me. It was horrible and I was not even offered an apology. They offered a gas card for the inconvenience and took that back after I wasnt able to go through with the car. After I was already driving back home they called and said the issue was resolved and I could pick the car up???? I feel it was deeper than a utility bill and they returned my deposit. I will be further proceeding with small claims, I documented the entire journey and am VERY disappointed. This was my first car purchase and I was excited and it turned into a living nightmare with wages/ lots of money lost. Not happy.Review fromGrayson T

1 starEasy process. Got a good deal and I like my vehicle. The POST car buying experience is why they deserve a 1 star for their incompetence. 3 months ago I purchased my vehicle and reported a roof leak when it rained, to which they sent me to their "certified" mechanic who couldn't find/fix the problem. This was all within their standard 30 day warranty. The issue didn't happen again until a few weeks ago, to which I reported it to them again and took pictures/video. Now they refuse to cover me as it's "outside their warranty period" when I originally reported the issue DURING the period. Very shady, and very dismissive of my requests. DO NOT do business with these snakes. I will also add the rook leak resulted in water going into my console and burning out my radio. They quoted the cost of the repair at just under $3000, and refused to cover ANY portion of it. Helping *********. What an absolute joke of a company. Do not do business with Canada Drives. They're the type to resell you a lemon car.Review fromShealyn S

I recently sold my car to Canada Drives and had an overall terrible experience. I filled out the online form and received my quote for my vehicle. I fully disclosed the crack on my windshield, as well as the age of the tires and how they will need to be replaced. I was contacted my Mohammed S****, who also goes by ‘Mo’. Mo called me and went over the condition of my vehicle and at this time the windshield crack and the tire conditions were disclosed again. Mo let me know due to the crack, he was going to deduct $300 from my quote I received online. Everything was fine and I agreed that was fair. We went on to schedule a pick up (which I paid $100 for. FYI previously they would pay YOU $200 to drive the car to their lot. I know this because my family member also sold his car to Canada Drives earlier this year.) Mo was quite pushy that I should drive it to them, but I didn’t want to commute that far and I paid the $100 for the driver to pick it up. Shout out to the driver Shaun H*****! He was absolutely amazing and was the only ********** part about my experience with Canada Drives. Shaun test drove the car and came back and told me the guys at the Canada Drives office are claiming I did not disclose the cracked windshield. Mo called me saying I did not disclose this, but once I reminded him of our conversation of him deducting the $300 ** ******** ****** ** ******** *** back peddled saying he thought it was a chip they could repair. For $300??? They told the driver the deal was off and to leave. The second *** ********** to leave my review, they decided to take the car?? Canada drives is now trying to contact me to ‘ask me questions’ after the bill of sale has been signed and everything has been transferred. I refuse to do anything over call with these guys ** **** *** *** ** ******* ** ***** **** *** there is a severe lack of communication *** ****** on their back end. ******** *** ******** *** I will not recommend these guys to anyone.Canada Drives Ltd

Hi *******,
We are sorry to hear your experience was anything less than positive, customer service is our top priority and we would like the opportunity to address your concerns. We investigated your concerns and reviewed your communication with our purchasing team.
When you initially applied with us our team provided you with an offer based on the disclosed damages you provided us on your vehicle. Upon pick-up of your vehicle, our driver confirmed the damages on your vehicle with our purchasing team to ensure all damages were disclosed and the proper deductions were made based on the work required on your vehicle. Unfortunately, after our team received your vehicle in our lot, our mechanics noted a leak in the rear differential that was not disclosed to us in the sale. Our purchasing manager reached out to you to better understand the mechanical condition as this leak was not reported to us. We require all material damage to be disclosed before the sale is finalized and as this leak was not disclosed to our team the offer amount we provided did not properly reflect the condition of the vehicle. Our purchasing team tried working with you to understand the vehicle's mechanical condition, as a gesture of goodwill we proceeded with the original offer, and no adjustments were made on the basis of the undisclosed mechanical damage on your vehicle. Our team worked diligently to rectify your concerns and we have agreed to proceed with the original offer in hopes of bettering your experience with us. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
If you have any additional questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Thank you,
Ammera - Customer Experience Manager
