      I think the service is very good at KalTire in Vancouer. I use them to change out my summer and winter tires and store the ones not in use. They're quick and courteous. However, today I discovered they've increased the cost to do this (change tires/storage) by ****% since September ($152 vs. $180), plus the extra tax on the increase. That's a big hike in my view. May have to look elsewhere going forward.

      Tire Service Only Picked up a new set of tires; no problems there. But when it came to the alignment, first they could not do it because it was too *****. I broke it loose myself and brought it back & they aligned it. A few months later I noticed toed in wear & got an alignment elsewhere. It was toed in over **** degrees. I went to talk with them, expecting a refund on the alignment and compensation for the re-do (never mind the 50% tread loss on the edges, but the manager just did not call me back. I would not trust these ****** to change my oil & certainly wont be back. If you must, dont let them charge you for an alignment; that is all they will do. Actually aligning a vehicle would require competence.

      North ************************* kaltire is a terrible business! Employees are not trained to do their job correctly.. the manager shouldn't be running a store like this he's more fit for a shelf stocking at a grocery store! Had an appointment for **** for tires to be put on and a wheel alignment.. 2hrs 45 minutes we waited. They never did the wheel alignment at all not even a bolt was touched.. I took it to another local shop and they informed me that they didn't do anything for an alignment!

      Worst customer service. I will never use KalTire. Asst. manager did not own his mistakes, his staff does not know how to communicate. It was conveyed that the hours later ng delay in a simple tirechage was MY FAULT for not "checking in", despite fact I arrived early,wenti into the office to let them know I I was there early. You guys are out 900$$ and reading all these bad reviews, I can see why.

      I took my truck in for new tires to Kaltire they informed me that my truck needed two lower ball joints in order to do an alignment
      I couldn’t afford the $800 at that money so I would have to come back
      I needed an Oil change so so when to ******* expecting them to tell me I needed two lower ball joints they did not in fact they said the were ok but I needed a tie rod
      I took it to another garage who confirmed that the lower ball joints were perfectly fine but I did need a tie rod ******* ***** ** *** ** ***

      After 3 seasonal tire changes for myself & my daughter I felt a review was necessary. I purchased new winter tires from Shawnessey Kaltire in 2020 for my **** and my daughter's ** *****. Our 1st year was great service for both. But the last 3 tire changes demonstrate selective and poor customer service for my daughter. The 1st time Kaltire didn't have her winter tires ready from storage but they had mine. We had to schedule another day with time off work for both of us as a solution. I thought ok they are busy. When we dropped her car off a 2nd time at 10am booking, using the online process due to covid, her car wasn't ready until after 330pm. She had to use my vehicle for work, pick me up early from my workplace, so we can pick up her vehicle. We still had to explain extra time away from our mutual workplaces and we had to make up the lost time. I thought ok it's covid. Now the 3rd time yesterday. Again I used the online booking process for my time at 2pm & my daughter's time at 4pm, these were the only time blocks showing for a Wednesday. My vehicle was ready after 2.75 hours. We dropped my daughter's ** off early at 330pm. We left to do errands. We returned at 630pm & her ** did not move from the original spot in the lot. I asked why her ** seemed to be one of the last to be serviced since the location hours listed a closed time of 6pm. I asked if kaltire honoured the online booking as I witnessed many people walking in and receiving service obviously well before my daughter. I inquired that if we stood inside the store for 6 hours if she would receive faster service and we tried to get her faster service this time by not storing her tires and having them immediatelyavailable. Service staff explained that they were very busy and "I don't know what to tell you." * ***** ** ** ********** **** *** **** ******* *** **** * ***** **** *** ** *** ********** **** ***** *** ******** **** ***** *** *** ****** Her ** wasn't ready until 810pm. We will not ever deal at kaltire

      I went in to the ****** *** location for the seasonal change over. I went about my business and got a text that my vehicle was ready. I arrived and was told my summer tires had "expired" and they had disposed of them. At no point could they show me anything to back that up and I at no point gave them any form of authorization to do that. ********* customer service and terrible communications. The loss for them was front end work and 6 tire replacements for my RV and the fact that I doubt I'll ever go there again.

      I want to give a shout out to Chris for his speedy resolution to the problem. He went above what my expectations. Now I can feel better about bringing my vehicles in there.

      I came in for an appointment for a wheel alignment and was told by Kal Tire they would not give me an alignment because my ball joints had too much play and they needed to be replaced. I had given my husband a call for pick up while they did the work and he asked to speak with representative and explained to the Kal Tire rep that the lower control arms had just replaced less than 2 weeks ago along with the ball joints, which is why we were looking for the wheel alignment. The Kal Tire rep continued to insist that he checked himself that there was an issue with the ball joints and that he had checked himself or perhaps it was a warranty issue, meanwhile I could over hear another Kal Tire rep telling another customer the exact same thing. At this point I was no longer comfortable doing any work at this location and left with no work completed.
      I took my vehicle to another business to complete the wheel alignment and confirm whether the ball joints needed replacement and they confirmed there was no issue with the ball joints at all, that they were brand new from what they could tell, and completed the wheel alignment with no issues.
      I was quote $435.22 for the additional work on the ball joints that was not required!!! This was a disappointing experience and makes me feel uncomfortable ever wanting to do business with this company again.
