5 starsI can't speak highly enough of Blair and the team at PVWD. We've chosen them to replace all our windows and doors in two major renovations in two different homes (bonkers I know). The most recent was in a complete energy remodel of a 100-year-old house. The window selection was complex: balancing energy efficiency, aesthetics, material selection (environmental), ease of installation and cost. Blair was able to take all these factors into account and provide invaluable advice in his product recommendations without pressure or bias. From start to finish the team were amazing, from the office staff to the installation crew, all of whom were positive and a pleasure to have in our home. Any post-installation adjustments were dealt with promptly and professionally. 5 starsWe chose PacificView Windows & Doors because the communication with Blair was clear, prompt and in details. The price is also reasonable. Thus, instead of replacing half of the windows, we decided to replace all the windows, patio doors and garden windows at once with PacificView.
The installation crew led by Garrett did a great job and take the time to communicate and solve the problem during the window installation process. The windows and doors look great.Review fromJohn Z

5 starsI'd happily recommend Pacific View to anyone looking for windows or doors on the South Island. Their team were quick to respond to my many requests for updated quotes as we worked through our project scope. They were excellent to deal with post install when we had a few small concerns that needed follow up. We bought 13 windows and a fully custom front door with double sidelight, and we are delighted with all of the products. Thankfully our renovation days are behind us but if I ever did need to source windows or doors again, they'd be my first and only call.Review fromTim S

5 starsWe highly recommend Pacific View Windows! We bought three windows from them and from our first contact we were given excellent, and highly thoughtful service. The staff explained in detail the pros and cons of all options. They gave their personal advice based on their vast experience and never pushed their products or pressured us. On the contrary and had a “can do” approach. We appreciated the team patiently explaining technical issues in layperson terms. When we ask for quotes, they immediately send detailed drawings with other options to consider.
Being wise shoppers, we also contacted three other window companies for quotes, all of whom were nowhere to be seen in comparison to the service and quality of the Pacific Windows team. Our decision to go with Pacific View Windows was confirmed when, while we were in the process of doing other renovations, our knowledgeable flooring contractor said he had also gone with Pacific View Windows for his own house, as the best value on the market. Another customer whom we met in their shop during our decision-making phase told us, “I’ve tried different companies. These guys are the best.”

They came, they measured twice, they installed my windows! **** ****** **** ******* My new triple pane windows look amazing, and the new screens don't use those plastic clips that snap after a few years. I'm happy!

5 starsWe had 17 windows replaced and are extremely happy with the results. After speaking to 3 companies, Pacific View was an easy choice to pick. From start to finish dealing with this company was a pleasant experience. Blair was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us good advice. The installers, Mike, Phil and Alex were excellent. Very friendly and hard working. It couldn’t have been easy dealing with an older house and working during a heat wave. We would have no problem recommending this company.Review fromLarry L

5 starsWe had a metal door with a wooden jamb replaced. The jamb was punky and rotting and the threshold was loose. The install A-team thoroughly checked the inner 2x6 for any signs of rot and used a laser to ensure the new composite jamb and door were perfectly aligned. This extra care with non-expanding foam between the jamb and the 2x6 frame, and the metal installed below the threshold along with the perfect caulking, means this door is bulletproof and impervious to the elements. From start to finish, working with Charlene, Blair the estimator and measurer and Garret the first-class installer meant this was truly an A-team.Review fromWill A

5 starsWe had two windows replaced, one requiring a change to the rough opening shape, and I was very pleased with the service we received. The estimator was very competent and informative, and provided useful information about some pitfalls in the energy rebate scheme. Pacific View's quote was the best of the three we requested, and their estimate of the lead time for window delivery proved accurate. The installation went perfectly, clean-up was faultless, and the windows look great.
