I contacted Life Assure to ask about their products for my parents. My story begins with me attempting to call the government.
This company interrupted my call and started the process of selling me their
product. I was a little confused as I was calling the government but I
continued the call. The salesman was very good at this job; I accepted his
product after hearing the benefits. One benefit he told me about was the fact
that I should have the product for a month before the first payment was taken
by the company. This was one September 25th. The very next day, my medications
that had been partially covered by the government were not going to be covered
anymore. That left me with much more debt than I was expecting. I called
the LIfe Assure company and relayed the information that I had to cancel
. On September 27th, they had already removed a payment. That was in
complete contrast to what I was told. I hadn't even received the product
yet. When the product arrived the next week, I got sick. With all the
illnesses going around and the fact that I felt like ***** I couldn't go to the
post office to return it. I did finally get out and sent it back without it
being opened. I waited a few weeks before I called the office and the
operator was extremely rude to me. She said you had it until October
22nd. I informed her that I was sick and returned it unopened as soon as
I could. I expected to receive my refund. In December , They removed
another payment on Dec.3. I would like to have my money returned to me. I
haven't heard from them anymore. I would appreciate some help in getting

*** I returned equipment to their company some of which belonged to them and some of which belonged to ******* ***** ******* *******. After this was done, I found out that the equipment was returned to them in error and tried to get the equipment returned to me which was all in the same mailing box. * **** ********.

Transactions With Life Assure 20 Mar 2025 and 25 Mar 2025 via **** ****** ****. Phone offer from **** to subscribe to service providing location monitor devices for seniors. I decided to consider it and got a call from an agent who took the information to subscribe me for service. When I got the unit by mail, I found it far too heavy for its purpose and contacted the company. Agent discussed it with me and ultimately offered small unit at lower monthly rate - return the original. I considered it but asked that it not be shipped at that time. I took the original unit to ****** **** and paid to have it return shipped as company had directed. Six days later ****** **** brought a package from the company to my door. I rejected it and directed that it be shipped back. I have checked my **** ****** **** account to see if refunds had been applied - nothing. 25 Apr 2025 I sent a detailed letter to Life Assure with these details and demanding refunds of the two fees ($***** and $*****) to the card plus refund of my return ship paid $*****. I have been with Life Assure for a while now. During that time I paid for the insurance premium and when I listened to their pitch for buying it it never said that it didn't cover the shipping back to them the item when I cancelled it just said free shipping. I called a month or so ago because I found that ******** had the fall detection smart watch and I thought I wanted to try it thinking it may fit better for me. The pendant when I was moving around or I bent over the pendant swung around got in the way and at times would go off due to the swinging around. I gave it a couple months in which when called to tell life assure a month or so ago the agent gave me 3 months free to decide which one I preferred. I just called today April 29 2025 10:35 am and explained that I had decided to stay with ******** and cancel my life assure account and the gentleman gave a small pitch to see if I would stay which I had made my decision. He gave me an address to send it to you then I found out they want me to pay to ship it back. I told him no I paid for the insurance and premium which the agent did not tell me when told me about the premium insurance thing and free shipping she did not include or tell me to ship it back that isn't covered by that. I bought it under the impression and idea the free shipping was only while I was still a customer. I argued with the gentleman but he didn't seem to care at all as can tell with the tone of his voice. I called the company to find out about alert device for my mom. Person on the phone kept telling me I had to buy today after numerous attempts to hang up. As they were very aggressive. Lowering the price. Then I received numerous calls back from them. I never game them my number.Business Response

I requested information about Life Assure's products by submitting an online request a week ago. I had a phone conversation with one of their agents, who was aggressive and urged me to purchase that day, which i did not! I ended the conversation, and since that day, I have received many phone calls from this company, even after advising them to quit calling. I called Life Assure from my mother's phone number but their office was closed. I did not leave a message or request anything online. Yet the very next morning they called my elderly mother and attempted to sell her a product. She told them to call me, which they did, and they proceeded to lie and tell me they were following up on my request for information. I told them to stop calling my mother and to not call me again. They ignored this and called my mother from BC area code phone numbers (to hide their identity) at least four times - i blocked three different numbers they used. I also blocked them on my own phone. The last call on Jan 24 came to my mother's phone, which I happened to pick up, and an aggressively unpleasant man started his sales pitch - I called him out on his tactics and had to hang up since he wouldn't stop talking. It's particularly offensive that a company that sells products to the elderly uses these tactics and you should be aware that one of your members lies and harasses vulnerable people. I couldn't believe I had to deal with such tactics from a supposedly reputable company.Business Response

Life Assure unsolicited sent my 90yr old mother an alert button claiming she had “won it”. *** *** She then called and signed up for $** a month. *** #2! They never tested it or showed her what to do it may be a button to nowhere. ***#3! Then she tried to sign onto their app to check- said she was not a customer, even though they took their money for three month. ***#4. She called they said “Ok we will send a sign up email” TWICE.
