I dropped my camper van off on Saturday because the fridge and exhaust fan were not working. On the Monday, I got a call telling me that the fan had to be replaced ($******) but when I asked questions like did they check the fuses on both the panel box and the fan, did they check the thermostat, I never got a straight answer. I'd run the fan for no more than 10 minutes only a few days before so a complete fail seemed improbable to me. The fridge is a three way and the propane component won't operate and the manufacturer doesn't make replacement parts for it any more. They plugged it in for 24 hours and the AC did work, but when I asked if the DC (12 volt) worked they couldn't tell me if it had been tested. I continued to call to get answers to my questions for the next few days, but each time, I never did. On Thursday, I spoke with the service manager who still did not have answers, but on the question about the DC source, he said "if the AC is working, the DC should work". "Should work" - really? I took the van to them for definitive answers not things like "appears to be working" or "should work". I picked up the van today. They presented a bill of $****** including a $***** "repair order" fee which ultimately they refunded, but a sizeable fee for having not produced any good answers. When I got inside my van, it was in disarray with pillows tossed from the bed, brand new rubber mats absolutely filthy with a greasy film that required my scrubbing with degreasing detergent, and the carpets covered in debris. My back up camera is not working, although it was when I took it in and the last straw was that I'd asked, that they write on my bill the model and serial number of the fridge. Nope, that too didn't happen. Finally, they gave me an approximate cost to replace the fridge of $*******, approximately $****** more than another competitor told me, and that didn't not include labour. Cathy, Winnipeg
