  I am so grateful for Down Under Excavating. I had a water service line break on my property. They were wonderful to deal with, quick to respond, so very helpful and really made this "stressful" event easy on me and my family. I really appreciate all the help *** ***** ********* **** ** *******

  Down Under Excavation is a first-rate operation. Good communication, always on time, and completely prepared, they handled all aspects of a residential sewer line replacement for us in June 2023 and did a great job.   I contacted Sonny when my water service line required repair. He came highly recommended and when I met him, I instantly knew why! He was professional and highly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain to me that my water line may require a spot repair or a full service line replacement. He quoted me for both scenario's, and offered a payment plan if I required one. He followed up with me the next day to ask if he could schedule me in, and he offered to help me out and hook our home to my neighbour's home with a temporary service line so that I would not be without water. He texted to confirm the date and time he was coming, and showed up with a capable crew on right on time. They showed pride in their work, and cleaned up the job site very well before departing. The invoice came in as quoted and he offered me a three year warranty on the work. Thank you Sonny. So glad I selected your company to help out!

  Down Under Excavating were amazing. Sonny and crew Dustin, Deacon, Randy, Danny and there was a young man that I forget his name there was six men, I have broken lead pipe service line a very stressful situation and I call Sonny. He was at my house in no time he told me everything is going to be ok and Sonny and his team went above and beyond to get the job done as soon as possible and without any stress. everything was spot less clean they did amazing Job I would gave them Six stars but it only gives me five stars..

  I couldn't be more grateful to Sonny and crew for their hard work on fixing my service line break. Sonny was out to see me within hours of the city telling me this was my issue and I had 10 days to fix it. He walked me through the insurance process and went above and beyond making sure my water was back on and I was happy. Great company to work with, * **** ********** Thanks Sonny and team!

  A big shout out to Sonny, Dustin, Deacon, Randy and Danny. There are no coincidences in life, these guys were meant to do this job. I didn't know it at the time, but as the course of this incredibly stressful (for me) undertaking proceeded along, I couldn't ask or want for a better crew working on my property. A little back story...in June of 2022 my father-in-law Frank and I built this beautiful patio (made from Tyndall stone removed from the front of his home) in our front yard that quickly became the "do drop in" point for the neighbourhood. I then landscaped the rest of the front yard surrounding the patio to make the front yard look spectacular. This patio was something special to us and my last project with him, ** ** ****** ******** **** ******** All this to say, that in March 2023 we discovered our now 102 year old sewer system had collapsed. Let the rollercoaster adventure begin! Through this process, we discovered that the sewer had collapsed in two places, one on the city property next to the street and the other directly under the patio. Sonny and Team arrived early each day, were very professional, walked us through and explained the work to be done, with options, at every step. They kept the house and yard clean and saved my patio! * ****** ********* **** ***** *********** **** ******* ****** *** ******

  When we were told that the water leak in our front was on our property, we were not sure what the process to repair it would implicate! Sonny and his team from Down Under Excavations were recommended to us and this was the BEST THING THAT COULD EVER HAPPEN! He and his brother came right away to check the damage, gave us a quote, he even guided us in some of the insurance steps as our insurance company was not very clear about this.
  The day to start the repairs came and Sonny and his team were at our house super early and ready to start, just to find out that the water that was supposed to be shut off by the city was still leaking, he took it upon himself to call the city, wait for them to come to shut the water off multiple times because for some reason water kept leaking... at this point, we were not sure if the leak was on our property or the city. Sonny told us since the beginning that he was going to HELP US and he wanted to make sure that our problem was going to be resolved. In the end, the city had to repair the leak and Sonny once again was at our house (at his own expense) on the day of the repair to make sure all the work was done and the leak repaired. We are so thankful for his help, his time and his advocacy.   Sonny and Dustin of Down Under Excavating repaired our sewer line and added an external clean out. They let us know what to expect, answered our many questions about the process, were in and out in a day, had a camera man check the line for trouble out beyond our repair location, cleaned up the work area when they left, and gave us the name of someone able to do another step in the process. We're very pleased with their service.

  Down Under are absolute top notch guys. I had a broken water line just before Christmas and they responded immediately. They had the job wrapped up in no time and kept the house clean. * ****** ********* **** ****** Friendly, on-time and reliable…what more could you ask for?

  When we were informed by the city that the water line leak in front of our house was our responsibility, all we could think of was the massive construction mess we would be left with on top of a garden years in the making. Finding a contractor proved to be difficult as many were too booked to give an estimate. However when asked they kept referring us to Sonny at Down Under. From the beginning Sonny was very understanding of our concerns and erased our fears of massive destruction.
  Sonny and his crew arrived early to ensure they had enough time to complete the job. They proved to be great communicators as they came up with a plan to minimize their impact and got to work. Plywood was carefully laid to protect our yard from their heavy equipment. The backhoe operator quickly dug a small hole with the skill of a surgeon followed by a quick shovel discovery of the leak. After a speedy repair and City inspection our yard was expertly put back together which included a complete fluffing of our grass. Other than the hump of dirt left to settle on the hole, you cannot tell that they were here.
  If you should ever require a repair, * ****** ********* ***** *** *** ***** **** ** **** ****** You will not be disappointed.
