    I bought a vehicle from a friend that is in amazing shape , I took it to a reputable garage (****** transmission and had them look at everything that was wrong with it ) got a list , found out I needed a transmission for my AWD 2008 Buick super deluxe they could not find one …I called around and found a business called “Quality auto “ called them the owner ***** found a transmission for me …figuring it would be rude to get him to source it and not install it I decided to go with his business, after paying 2,600$ish for this second hand part , he proceeds to install the new part over the next two weeks , after it was done we picked up the car and noticed now there is a whole plethora of problems that the vehicle did not have before and is now a safety concern , when I called back he said oh he forgot to do the update on it or something so I brought it back in , his mechanic tried to reset the codes and send me on my way when I told him wiping the codes is not fixing the issues that this vehicle did not have when I brought it in and paid for ,,, he was reluctant to talk so I found the owner across the street ***** I walked up to talk to him about the car and right away he was in denial and standolfish stating I hope you’re not pointing fingers all I did was install it ….as I tried to explain the issues are from improper installing, he sped off almost running me over in his tow truck if I wouldn’t have moved my toes would have been crushed ….so taking that for what it is I went back and calmly asked for my keys and left while he continued to say it has nothing to do with him , I’m in the process of getting my vehicle paperwork from when it was checked by a reputable garage prior to taking it to quality auto and would like to take this to small claims as I have four kids and saving the money he soaked me for took a long time to save just to have to turn around and pay again at another garage to have his broken job fixed in this economy
