    Citywide is extermley slow ,they are rude whwn you call about the internet .

    Was called 6 days after my bill was due looking for $37.00. I have always carried a balance over every month, this was a one of as I had a medical emergency and therefore didn't put I my weekly payment. So they had all the money except for $37.00 for that bill. Keeping in mind that this is for the following month, not the present month. When they called me the 6 days after my payment was due, they demanded that I set up a payment plan. When I told them they would get their money in the next couple of days, they put me down for immediate disconnect. So, I would never recommend this company after having been with them for 3 years, always in good standing with them, I am moving on to another provider. Might cost me a little more but anything is better than the crappy, disrespectful customer service I received from City wide.

    Consider this a zero review...it is only a one because I had to to post this
    I contacted citywide regarding the fact that my 89 year old father has been charged over 500.00 for services he did not receive. They say he did not cancel services...nor did he return the remote.
    The post office in this very small community has been run by the same person for quite a few years. That was a year ago..he no longer has the receipt. The woman remembers him returning the remote.
    I called customer service...they said no record of the call. Then who told him to return the modem?
    So he has paid over 500.00 for something that should have been disconnected.
    Now they sent him a bill for the modem.
    A few years ago I was told to keep my receipt when I returned a modem because providers sometimes say they don't receive them. Guess citywide is one of those.
    Go to ****** *** instead.
    I think he more than **** for the modem he wasn't using...in fact they should have offered him a **** refund.
    Disgusting!!!

    I moved and had a move date set up a month in advance. I guess the tech was sick the day of my service set up and no one called me so I took a whole day off for nothing. You would think they would fit me in but no I have to wait a whole week using my own data and unable to work from home having to find a way into the office when it’s an hour away when my position is work from home. Losing data and wages and hours and gas all because of citywides mistake. They do not ask the customer enough questions to try to suit your needs, it’s all only done on their time and no rush to help the people they did not show up for. I will never recommend anyone to this company.

    Started with tgese ppl 1 dec 2023 had skinny pack plus to start.Yesterday requested add 5 channel deal 14.99 money was taken from account yesterday and still no channels when complianed and wanted tocanxelwas told would lose money so told to proceed will cancel after paid for service... ******** related explains

    I've been with them for about 8 years and have to say I've never really had any complaints worth giving. What I love is that if for whatever reason you need to call them, if you do not get a rep. ,you can leave a call back number. It has never been more than 5 minutes to get a callback whereas if you were with ******** you can be on the line for hours to talk to someone. I love City Wide...

    Lack of knowing why the internet is not working from the company. Nowhere to seek answers.
    Nothing on the website, no email which is unprofessional.
    Will the customer get a rebate?

    I’ve been with City Wide for almost three years. The internet goes out at least once every few weeks, which is more than inconvenient because I work from home. There’s no way to report its outage other than waiting on a customer service line for a while, and then waiting even longer for someone to come check the lines out here in the eastern shore.
    It’s so dependably spotty that I have a spreadsheet tracking my outages every year. I have 7 outages this year so far and it’s only early July.
    When I asked for credit or a discount (especially since I lose money when I can’t work from home), customer service said, “Well, you didn’t report every outage from beginning to end. You need to call twice to update us.” But when I waste 45 minutes of my life calling every time, they say, “No need to call, we’re working on it.” Not to mention when it goes out after office hours and I have to wait until the next day.
    If I had other ISP options, I would absolutely switch.
