    I work in a busy ******* ********, today we were locked out of one of our crucial exam rooms. Unfortunately we called an agency who sent C&A Locksmith to our office.
    When he arrived he did not provide an estimate before starting work.
    Being a locksmith I thought he would "pick the lock", nope, he damaged the wooden door by wedging a screwdriver between door and frame and popping it open. He was here for <15 min and billed us $600.
    I am extremely disappointed by his complete lack of professionalism and the outrageous fee he charged.
    Now you can't even reach him on the phone to discuss the fee breakdown. ***** ***** *** **** ********* * **** * *** ** ***** **** *** *** ***** **** * ***** *****

    I am a senior ******** ********* **** ************** *** ********* ***** ********. On November 10, I locked myself out of my house by accident. I had my neighbor call a locksmith. I spoke to the one contacted and he said he would arrive in about 45 minutes and it would cost me $45 for him just to show up and then a bit more to unlock the door. It was well over an hour before he arrived. He looked at the lock and said he couldn't try keys but could force it open. He said nothing at that time about the cost of opening it. He used airbags and a small tool to pop the lock and force the door open which took about 5 minutes. He then proceeded to tell me that it would cost another $179. I protested and said it was outrageous and too much for the short time of work. He insisted that it was standard and refused to take a credit card and insisted that I pay him by E-transfer and would not leave until he received proof that it had been sent. Then he said that the entire bill would be $270.07 with tax. * ****** ****** ** *** ** ** ******** *** ** ** ******* *** **** ****** ** *** *** ** *** ** * ***** Later when I checked the amount I realized that I had been overcharged on the tax. I called the company to ask for that extra tax back and to complain about how I was treated and the outrageous price. I called repeatedly for a week to ask to speak to the manager or owner and spoke to about 3 different people who said someone or themselves would check and call me back. No one ever called me back. Now they are blocking my number and will not accept calls from me. I would be happy to get back the extra $16.95 in tax I paid. But really would like to get more than that as $270. for five minutes of work is not acceptable. I was not given an invoice or bill and was told to send the E-transfer to the workers personal email address and not to the company. This is a very poor business practice. I was treated rudely and felt intimated and though I was polite on the phone they ignored me.

    I called C & Locksmith & Doors to repair patio door. Guy came after asking me to send pictures of the door. After seeing them he said the door had fallen. He arrived saying it was the wheels and was an easy fix. He took the door off, removed the wheels and said only one set needed repair. He spent two minutes working on the wheel, replaced both sets replaced the door and sprayed with WD 40 which he asked me if I had any! He spent about and hour ' including private phone calls'. Told me the bill was $1022.25. He did not give me a quote, a reciept or a warranty. It took me two days and several calls to get someone to talk to me then told me that was the cost as 'the door was heavy to remove'. Very dissastisfied at lack of concern for my issues and no expenation or break down of cost. I re[eatedly asked him why the door banged so loudly and never got an answer. I think I have been taken advantage of with the cost. I asked him someone could come and check the job and they told me it would cost me more.

    March 3, 2023 to replace lock on front door, cost ranged from $900 to the final price of 1754.89. I contacted other locksmiths and the ranges in price were from $300 to $500 for a he job to be done. * **** **** ******* *** ****** ** **** The job took l as than 40 minutes to complete so with the price of parts being about $200, labour was over $1500 which is ridiculously high.
    I would like some sort of a refund from the company. This is a **** of a company and it needs to be addressed.
