      I bought a beautiful daybed and 2 mattress on October 21st paid in full and the delivery date was October 23rd I was very excited buying my first big purchase on my own. On the 23rd my delivery came and there were no mattress and the very nice man said it would be in a little later that day and no mattress came no phone call and no email and I tried calling multiple times and nothing. Finally I talked to someone and they said they ran out of those mattress and I would get a refund which they had many of them when I purchased my bed.finally I phoned back and wanted to speak to a manager and she said someone would call within a few hours and that was a week ago. The mattress both were $199 per each and I chose not to buy the $99 ones and that is all what they have left. My bed took me many days to put together and now I just want someone to come and take my bed apart and want my money back of $1,006.00 and never go back. * **** **** ** ******* * ****** *** ****** * **** **** ****** **** ****** *** * ****** ** *** **** *** **** ***** ****** ** ** ***** I just want to move on. Can someone please help me to get this matter closed.

      The order process was difficult. The advertised promotion was also difficult to access and required calling. We couldn’t contact IKEA and find our order, we were hung up on and after waiting all day, the shipment didn’t arrive. There was no offer to compensate us for the time and effort we spent other than free delivery on our next order.
      I can’t describe how frustrating this experience was. We will not purchase from IKEA again.

      ******** ***** ******* ***** **** * *********. I ordered $3000 worth of furniture for IKEA on August 8th, paid for delivery and almost $450 for assembly. Delivery went smoothly. When it came to booking assembly by IKEA and their third party counterpart **** ******, I’ve never been treated so badly by any other company. I initially received a task but the tasker just wouldn’t respond, he finally text my personal cellphone and requested additional money to assemble my furniture. I complained about that and after I spent 2 weeks going back and forth between IKEA and **** ****** trying to get my furniture assembled. After 2 dozen calls, emails and chats between both companies, I was told they just couldn’t assemble my furniture. I’m taking everything back and I will NEVER EVER order from them again. Note to IKEA: ***** **** ******* **** *** **** * ******** *******. I couldn’t get a supervisor at IKEA and I could only get one over email at **** ******. No one cared or bothered to problem solve anything.

      I opened a business account and ordered 60 lanterns. I was unable to pay online because their computer system was not working. I paid by credit card over the phone. I received a confirmation by email. The next day I got a text saying I had not paid. I tried calling but the phone number for online service did not work. I ended up online chatting with someone that refused to take my confirmation of payment number and after about an hour of explaining that I had paid over and over, they told me my order had been "cancelled on the back end". No other explanation was given. I at no point asked for them to cancel my order. I asked them, since I had already paid, could I re-order. I was told I would have to wait 5-7 days for my refund to go through before I could re-order. 12 days later I still had no refund. When I once again got on the chat line, as the phone still did not work, I was told that I had not paid. I called the credit card company and confirmed that my payment had gone through. I got a phone call from Ikea and they left me a message saying that they would email me and when I emailed back they would call me immediately once they got a return email. 5 days later they still had not called. So I emailed them. I emailed them 6 times with no reply. I finally emailed and told them my intent was to have the charge reversed and I was making a complaint to the BBB. Five days later I got a call to please return their call. When I called I was told the refund had been issued. They then told me it was my fault that their customer service was so bad. That I had failed to pay 25 dollars of my order. I told them I had an order confirmation that had no such charge. They just continued to say that it was my fault and that is the reason they cancelled my order. I will never shop at Ikea again. As a business that conducts things in an ethical and professional manner I will only do business with companies that are like minded. I have nothing good to say about Ikea Richmond.

      Don't ever buy a countertop from Ikea! I've been dealing with customer service for well over a year now. They sent someone out within the first couple of months to evaluate the defect, after that I've been calling and calling for follow up. Every time I have to start from the beginning and every time they say someone will call me back with resolution.
      The warranty is useless, they give you the runaround so you'll give up on your claim! Lesson learned!

      Without hesitation or exaggeration, the worst company to deal with for online orders. Not only did my order run a week past it's delivery due date, I received a different excuse with every inquiry. Ikea's motto should be "pass the buck".
      My order status stalled at "packing your order" for a week past it's delivery date. I inquired on three separate occasions and was given three different reasons as to why. I checked my status on Monday and low and behold it was delivered........ on a Sunday no less. I had no idea where it was delivered to, so once again one more inquiry into my now missing product.
      In the end, after a newer "loose version" of the truth - a stock issue- I was offered a refund. I will gladly take that and educate myself as to why I will not shop at Ikea again.
      I wish I would have read these reviews before I bought from Ikea Canada.

      The North York store, instore service was very good. Their online ordering, collection point pick up/delivery service and collection point pick up staff are deplorable. *** ****** I ordered and paid for a bookcase online. It was available to purchase and for collection point pick up according to the site and order form. We were advised that it was available for pick up. We drove an hour to do so, only to find that it was not there. When I contacted customer service, I was told that they would deliver one to my home. Five minutes later, I was told it was out of stock. I checked the North York site while on the phone with them and it was IN stock. I was then told that they didn't have enough of them to deliver one to me. What?? I was also told that it was not available for collection point pick up and that they had cancelled my original order. Would have been nice to receive clear information regarding their cancellation of my order. So basically, I purchased on line, they cancelled without telling me what they were cancelling, they then advised me that it was available for pick up. When it wasn't there, they then told me it was out of stock when it was in stock and then they told me I couldn't have one unless I wanted to drive to the store over an hour away (AGAIN) and get it within 24 hours. Absolutley terrible customer treatment. ***** ******* ** **** **** **** ***** *****

      Ordered cabinets for delivery, for I am not physically able to get to their stores. They sent the wrong sized doors. Customer service said they would deliver the proper doors. Went to check up and see if they had a tracking number yet, and the service rep said they will not be delivering them. So now in order for me to get my proper doors, I'll have to pay almost $200 to get a car service to take me to ikea to get my doors?? Why are they promising to resolve the sitchuation and then changing their minds? And now literally making me pay for their mistake?

      UNLIKE other large businesses that are concerned with making the customer happy …this IKEA IS NOT! We contacted the business manager's at this Ikea who are supposedly in management but did not care in anyway in pleasing the customer. So we called the customer service line who said they understood our concern and believed “yes you should get the promotion but you have to deal with Ikea Edmonton management ….”
      Only last week, we purchased over $5000+ for kitchen cabinets, sink, etc from this store.
      Then we just received an email a few days later stating “if you have a business…..anything you purchase kitchenwise from this week March 23, 2023 on and into May you can get 10% back in gift cards”!
      Wow, we didn’t know that they offered businesses this, so we signed up the night we got this email, the next day we went into the store to say “hey we just bought a kitchen last week, have a business so we should be able to claim our 10% in gift cards”. Especially since some of our kitchen order is still “ongoing” on back order for some items.
      Shockingly the answer was “NO” we cannot get the 10% ..we would have to physically pay $59 again to return ALL the boxes of cabinets back to the store … the boxes of cabinets would then go back Into stock and the next day we could go in and start ALL OVER AGAIN ORDERING the cabinets…if they were still in stock...then we could get the 10% gift cards!
      HOW RIDICULOUS!
      Large businesses like ******, **********, *** ***, etc all honor prices/offers that may CHANGE WITHIN A COUPLE OF WEEKS of your purchase….they JUST ADJUST YOUR RECEIPT and you don’t have to physically bring everything back to get the promotion.
      So we are totally disappointed with this Ikea and their management who were no help at all in satisfying the customer.
      If their policy is physically bringing something back to get a price change/promotion on something smaller …fine! But really…! Expecting to bring back all the boxes of cabinets!?
