    I purchased this warranty through a dealership. When i needed repair done on a timing chain, which was clearly listed as a covered component( weather broken or not). I was first told it wasn't covered, then told it was covered, then eventually told i was to pay a 1/3 of the repair which was $933. It was supposed to be $100 only. The owner didnt like an email i sent, which stated i felt our conversation went nowhere and we should go our separate ways. He then called me while i was at work and said if i didnt like it, i would be charged for the full repair. He told me the timing chain, which is an internal component of the engine was a maintenance item like a battery would be. No where in the maintenance schedule of the vehichle is there scheduled maintenance for a timing chain. Which was an eight hour repair. * **** **** **** ******** purchasing this warranty ****** be aware that just because the item is listed as a covered component, and all your maintenance is done. This company may very well choose not to cover it, or decide how much to cover *** *** ** **** *** **** **** ***** *** ***** *** * ****** When in reality the entire repair should have been covered, minus the $100 deductable.

    Had purchased a extended pinnacle warranty for my car ,paid 4000. Called the company told me to take it to the garage that they deal with . After the diagnostic was done was told it was a rear gate trunk module , then was told it was not covered . Called the canada general warranty only to be handed to different people because couldn't give me information why . Then was told I had opt out on this part ! Have my warranty and read several times over and no where does it state I opt out on this part ! Asked if he could send me a copy of his warranty that stated I opt out but still have not received it *** *** **** **** . * **** * *** ****** ** ***** * *** ****** ** *** **** Then was ********** with a law suit if I wrote a bad review ! Would never recommend this warranty to anyone.

    ** * ***** **** **** ******* ** * ***** * ********** ****** My car recently was in for its maintenance because I was having issues with a clunking when I turned my wheel. My garage, contacted General Warranty , as they have in the past 6 years. The top of the front strut is binding/ bearing thus causing the clunk. They argued the point that they would not cover it. They said that a strut and shock were the same thing. I phoned myself and challenged their decision. As I did some research as to the difference with a strut and shock.. A strut is a major structural part of the suspension. It takes the place of the upper control arm and upper ball joints. They do NOT cover shock absorbers, BUT according to my contract, they DO cover upper and lower control arms and upper and lower ball joints. It not the cost now that really annoys me, its the principle... When this man couldn't answer to this, he just told me that I didn't know what I was talking about.. I didn't take kindly to him saying this ** * ** **** *** ******* * ***** **** **** ** * ****** ****** *

    I have been trying to get a loan taken care of after an accident through the warranty I purchased. The company is laughing at my inability to be tech savvy. They require a specific amount of redundant documents they already have. I have been back and forth with Sean for months with breaks in between as I had to wait for the police report. Once I started sending the documents I received a complaint from Sean. I requested to file a complaint and instead was sent to his colleague Dave! Dave is worse than Sean! When I suggested I would take this further I was laughed at even more and then said but I thought you weren’t tech savvy? Who are these men? * ** ********** **** ** ********* This should have been taken care of month ago!

    Canada General Warranty INC
    Warranty was added on during car purchase costing $3000. Vehicle already has a warranty and this isnt needed, have been calling and leaving messages but no one seems to answer. I am well aware there is a time limit to cancel this warrantee and it seems they are ignoring my calls until this time elapses. This is unacceptable business behavior.

    ***** **** ** **** ***** ***** **** ******** ******** I bought a very expensive ** ****** with a Canada General Extended all power train warranty’s to cover the engine.
    the vehicle started having issues 8 months later (mostly with the engine) and I’ve spent 1000’s to fix it, Ontop of a high car payment.
    This company has done nothing to repair not even one engine issue and is rude and very quick to just get rid of you and leave you hanging with massive repair bills.
    I now have to go through the lengthy warranty arbitration process and was belittled and made to look like a fool several times over the phone with the customer service department about what parts lye in the engine. * ****** ** *** ********* ***** **** ******** ********
