      I purchased snow clearing services from ****** on two driveways for my property for winder *********. The company crew members have pushed snow from the driveway not just very close to my property, but also right against the stairs to the porch.This is not professionally done as the snow should have been pushed away from the property, not towards the property against my property stairs.The stairs may have been or can be potentially damaged by the piled-up snow. The pile-up snow has formed a mountain which will cause the snow-melting water flooding and damaging my property foundation in the coming spring. I am requesting the company to move the piled-up snow must be cleared away at least 20 feet away from the property.

      I have a contract with ****** to plow out the shared driveway and parking spaces indicated in the contract. ****** has not plowed out the last unit (mine) most snowfalls. It did it once around the second snowfall of the year and again around the major snowstorm around Jan 13 or 14. On each occasion, I have emailed and called ****** to ask for service and then again to inquire how to resolve the issue. No one has responded by phone or by email (so no contact at all). Again my unit was not plowed during the most recent snowfall on Feb 15/16. The other units were plowed but mine was not. Again, I contacted ****** by calling. No response. I just sent another email. I would like a response and an explanation and hopefully a refund for the amount of the unplowed service (equal to approx. ******)

      NOELs Ottawa is a snow removal service in Ottawa, ******. In November 2023, I signed a contract with NOELs for snow removal of our driveway at ********************** in Ottawa, for the duration of the contract (Nov. 1, 2023 to Apr. 1, ****). The contract was for a total of $600 + tax.The contract states that "Snow plowing operations will begin on snowfalls that accumulate a minimum of 5cm." And further, that "[NOELs] crew will make our best effort to have your snow plowed area clear within **** hours from the end of the said snowfall event."Since the contract was signed, Ottawa has had two significant snowstorms that would qualify the above conditions - Dec. 4, 2023 and Jan. 7, ****. On both occasions, NOELs has failed to clear our driveway. During the first snowstorm, NOELs eventually came to our home over 24 hours after the snowfall had ended. By that point I had already hand shovelled the driveway.As of Jan. 9, ****, NOELs has still failed to clear our driveway at all following the Jan. 7 snowstorm - neither by machine nor hand. NOELs even admitted in a Jan. 8, **** email that one of their employees had driven by our house. They asked if their were cars in the driveway at that time. I replied that there were not, and asked if they would be sending out a crew. They did not reply, which has followed a pattern of non-response from NOELs. To date, that Jan. 8 email is the only response I have received to repeated inquiries.The above instances, combined with the lack of response to my inquiries, indicates to me that NOELs is in fact not making best efforts to clear the snow at our property, as agreed upon in the contract.I am requesting your assistance in facilitating NOELs compliance with the agreed upon contract. If they are unable to do so, I am requesting that they immediately cancel the contract and return the $600 + tax that was paid to them.Thank you,***

      This was reported to Noel Snow Removal on-line from their website. at 11.00 A.M December 17, 2022.


      This morning at about 10.00 A.M. I had the misfortune to witness one of your snow removal operators park his vehicle in front of my residence to clear his blocked snow chute. To clear the blocked chute he decided that because he doesn't carry the tools necessary, he would steal a wooden fence support from my garden wire fencing. I watched him through my living room window looking to see if anyone was watching and then breaking off the wooden support and proceeding to clear the blocked chute. Is this an example of " Noel" professionalism ? Next time, I'll report this to the police and post it to the internet regardless of the degree of damage. I pointed out to your uneducated employee that I do have a doorbell and he could ask for help instead of trespassing and willfully destroying private property.

      2. I warned you last December 17, 2022 that if there is any more damage to my property, I would report it to the Ottawa police department and pursue compensation for any damage caused by your firm. This evening at 6.48 P.M your snow removal driver clearing snow from *** ****** ***  backed-up his Bobcat style tractor into my masonry retaining wall knocking out some capping and damaging the wall. I am reporting this to the police , will obtain a repair estimate and bill you for all damages including material and labour. If compensation for the damage that you caused to my property is not forthcoming, I will commence litigation against you and your company.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This well beyond spring and almost into fall and yet the commitment and assurance to repair the property damage caused by ********************** Snow Removal still has not been undertaken or even addressed. Attached is a copy of a follow-up email that I sent on August 28, 2023, as a reminder to ***************** of his pledge as noted below.

      It looks to me like Mr. ********************** pledges are disingenuous and not to taken seriously. 
       
      Could you please prevail upon ********************** Snow Removal to fulfill their moral and legal responsibilities for the property damaged caused by their employee.

      For the past 2 years we have contracted Noel's snow removal and it has been absolutely horrible. Last year was okay. But they still left us unshoveled several time. This year is absolutely abysmal. We pay for double wide shoveling and they either don't come, come 72 hours after the snow, and today they have done 1/3 of the driveway and then peeled out. They have not answered over 10 emails and they have never once answered over 20 calls both my husband and I have made. I work call shifts at the hospital and sometimes have to take a cab because we have not been shoveled for 48 hours or more. They honestly just stole our money and couldn't care less about providing the service. I have photos, email history (all unanswered) and phone records (also unanswered). Seeking a full refund for the season.
