1 starWorst Customer service I have ever experienced in my 60 years of purchasing domestic appliances. So here we go
Purchased 50,000.00 of Miele Products Washer, Dryer, Stove top, and Fridge We secured a 10 warranty with this purchase was the reason we went all Miele. Prior to this all ***** *** *** ****. except washer and dryer as they don't make these products. 4 years have past in service hell with Miele. The dryer will not turn on at times. We have had at least seven (7) service calls to fix this issue. We had ,at our own expense, an electrician come out and check our power and the breaker was even upgraded when the old one was working fine. They cannot fix the issue. Over the past years I had one service manager say it should be replaced. He quit. Several of the service techs that come out say the same thing. They have replaced at least two electronic boards. The switch The electrical box. They checked the power the vent .All good but their dryer will not turn on at times. So for 4 years we have had to leave the dryer on. We cannot turn it off as it will not turn on again. This is also an intermittent issue so very frustrating. So now on hold to get ahold of someone again with authority to this problem. Would I buy again? Not at this time plus the other reviews on this site are epic. Miele is ruining their reputation with their after sales service and their deliveries.Review fromJanice S

1 starI purchased a C3 Miele Vacuum a few months ago and within a short period of time the motor over heated to the point where it warped the case so that the switch wouldn't work to turn the vacuum on. I called support and they told me to take it in for service to fix it. Once the technician examined it he discovered that it would need 6 major parts to repair it including the case and motor. The thought was that Miele would send a new vacuum since this is a major repair. Miele decided to send the parts - which they don't have and are on back order. The vacuum has been in for repair for 4 weeks and it will take at least another 2 weeks to get the parts (not confirmed) and then the technician has to repair it. As it is right now the soonest I will have the vacuum back is the 2nd week of January. If you do the math I will not have a vacuum over the holiday and haven't had one for 4 weeks and have dogs. I was on hold for 2 hours in an escalation process but it could take up to 72 hours for someone to get back to me. Very disappointed in how this has been handled but even more disappointment in the vacuum that I purchased because I thought it was a premium vacuum.Review fromVicki S

1 star1 am so disappointed with the service got from this company. I purchased a 1000 dollar cordless vacuum in March 2022, and it was the worst idea to buy. have tried to contact Miele by emailing, calling, calling places they told me to take the vacuum to.
T did not get any type of help, I chose this company because my clients recommended it and told me, that it was supposedly good customer service and they will definitely be helpful if in need. I don't have another month of my time to waste to go back and forth with this.
I do not want this vacuum anymore, it's terrible, I should have purchased one with a cord.
I'm truly disappointed with this service and help
T received. I deal with clients on a regular basis and I know what customer service means.

1 starMiele products are not just overpriced for their low quality, their customer service is equally bad. We are trying to get our dryer which is less than 1y old and still under warranty fixed and it's been a nightmare. Lots of phone calls and we are running in circles without proper service and without a dryer that works.Review fromcarl r

1 starContacted Miele Canada for service on Miele built-in fridge in July 2022. As of November 26, 2022 they have yet to respond to fix the issue of the fridge not cooling causing hundreds of dollars in spoiled food and not recognizing the impact on our family of not having a fridge that cools for 4+ months!!!
Background: Called Miele service in July 2022. They recommended we service fridge either through in house service techs or through authorized Miele appliance contractor who only services Miele (owner operator was former employee of Miele). Wait time for in-house was 3 weeks vs immediate service for authorized service contractor so we chose the contractor based on Miele's recommendation. 4+ months later and $ 1,400 in costs for service and parts, the authorized service contractor did not understand what the problem was in spite of us telling him there is probably a leak of the refrigerant. November 15, Miele agreed to send in their in-house service tech, Patrick who quickly diagnosed the refrigerant leak issue and advised the repair could cost up to a $ 1000 to fix but he would submit his report to their tech and management and see what could be done given the wrong diagnososis by the authorized service company. Was promised we would hear within 24 - 72 hours but as of November 26 still no response or call back. Contacted customer support 3 more times in the past week and in spite of them telling me the issue was escalated to the "Office of the President", still no response. Absolutely horrible customer service / support and incompetent service partners. The fact that this company continues to ignore the impact on our family not having a working fridge which is a basic need today, tells you how much they really care about their customers. Their slogan says that 20 years later you will still be impressed by Miele but far from it. Still waiting for Miele to do the right thing and at least contact us to let us know what their proposed solution is.Review fromKrystal K.

1 starI bought a $7000 built in Miele coffee maker which ended up being a lemon from the start. They attempted to fix it but couldn’t so after months of fighting with them they finally decided to exchange for a new one. They told me someone would contact me to set up an exchange. I go to the mail one day and the agent rolls out this huge package. I realize Miele sent my $7000 coffee make through the mail without even contacting me?!? (Not making this up…)
I sent it back because they were supposed to set up an installer to bring the new one and take the old one back. It’s been months of phone calls and as of now, I still have my $7000 lemon coffee maker installed and am using my $60 ******. I’ve given up trying to contact them because they say they’ll have someone make this right and call me back and no one ever does?! **** **** **** ********Review fromKarla K

Leaving the country on Monday, but they are fully booked for the remainder of the week and won't make an exception.. Terrible service. 1 starWe purchased our miele dishwasher in 2017. I have very happy and raved about the quality of our miele dishwasher to all friends & family until recently. We purchased a miele and the dishwasher tablets because it was supposed to be the best. I am very unhappy that it is only 5 years old and is in need for repairs. The F78 came up on our dishwasher we connected your service department and there is no technician to come to repair our dishwasher in our area so we dropped off our dishwasher to 180 Biscayne in Brampton on October 6th. We have contacted the service department several times and have not heard back. I am not impressed with your service department or your dishwasher. When we purchased a Meile we thought it would last longer then 5 years for the price. They have now have our dishwasher for 4 weeks. We have called several times and have been told each time to call back in three days we asked to talk to a manager and that’ll take three days ** *** *** ***** ** *** *** ***** ********. At this point I want my broken Meile back and I’ll scrap it and purchase another dishwasher and it definitely will not be a Meile.Review fromBRIAN J

1 starI have had a Miele dishwasher for many years and appreciate its reliability and performance. Everything breaks down eventually so I was happy to call Miele.ca to request a technician when the alarm went off stopping a clean cycle during the night. When they told me he couldn't come for three weeks I booked it anyway but started looking elsewhere. I hired a contractor that claimed to utilize Miele trained technicians. He showed up, knew how to disassemble to see the business end but was lost as to why the water alarm went off. I helped him inspect it and discovered the base pump distribution suction molded hose had blown a hole which supported the evidence of a leak and the sensors functioning correctly. I paid him for a callout and showed him the door when he told me he would order the part and be back in three weeks. I removed the hose, photographed it and got the part number off it, good going Germany for putting that directly on the part. I wrapped it with plumbers stop leak pressure tape, great stuff. Installed the hose and reassembled the dishwasher. I immediately called Miele.ca to order a part, same number I called to request technician, canceled that appointment and ordered the part easily from a gentlemen over the phone. That was on September 8th. Its now nearly 1.5 months later and no part. Called three times, first response was that its here from Germany and will be shipped tomorrow. Second response, its here from Germany and ready to ship via ********* tomorrow. Third response today, its stuck in the que at the warehouse. I requested a call back once the issue with the warehouse was rectified and to provide a tracking number. What's with the incompetence? Really! so frustrating. I am a handy person, what happens to a person that is not?? If I am able to edit this post I'll let you know what happens but I will think twice when I'm ready to replace this unit. By the way, my wife remains patient because its still running with the temp repair!Review fromMike D

1 starHorrible customer care and service. We've owned a dishwasher for 16 years, serviced frequently compared to other appliances. Was told a week ago the part needed was no longer available
and a new dishwasher may be available in 4 months, no guaranty. We purchased a new ***** unit. Yesterday a package arrived of Miele soap tabs that has not been opened. They refuse to take them back.
This company can learn a lot about how too heart customers from other companies, the only reason they didn't get a zero rating is because it is not an option.
