We had purchased a washer & dryer had excellent service therefore we purchased a Miele gas cooktop through ***** appliances ** **** ***** paid for delivery,$110 assembly $300 and removal of existing cooktop $40 ($450). Delivery on Wednesday June 21, installer arrives June 22 would not install as gas shut off was not right in the cupboard Miele will only refund $100 plus advised once we have gas shut off installed it will be a further $150 to have installer return.

      Spent $40,000 on a total Miele kitchen, including a $14,000 2802 Vi fridge. It comes with…..2 shelves! That’s it, 2. We have been stacking plates, on top of eggs cartons, on top of yogurts to fill all this air space. I enquired about more shelves. They are available FOR $1400 EACH! Asked sales person, the Miele rep, then Miele reps’s boss…finally offered 15% off. That just basically covers the taxes.

      Six years ago, based on experience with a single Miele product, we ordered all Miele appliances for a new house. The refrigerator icemaker required several service calls which fortunately were under warranty. Unfortunately for us, the Speed Oven (a hefty $5,000) has recently quit. Service contracted out and it took ages to get the part thought needed -- and the fix lasted less than five months. (Warrantied for 90 days.) Now I'm invited to start paying the very high service charge so we can start all over again. I have no confidence that the problem was remedied -- now I have an appliance that has sat for over a week, looking as though it is booting up but never does. I pay an extra charge for being "outside" of Miele's service area -- funny that they had no problem at all selling outside of the service area. I am annoyed, disappointed and no longer a Miele fan.

      I too have been struggling getting my refund, I did not receive the dishwasher so nothing to return. I have made several calls, emails. I did get some funds back but not adding to the amount spent. They do not return emails even if you have sent off documentation of all the transactions. Great product, but NO form of customer service,support, delivery is a joke. With what you pay there should be no aggravation. I would say you can buy several dishwashers for the same price as one Miele and avoid all the headaches and extremely expensive service call. $295.00 just to show up. * ***** **** **** *** ***** **** **** *** ***** ******

      Let me add to the chorus of complaints on this site about Miele Canada's atrocious customer service. Mine concerns a new washer/dryer, top of the line. First delivery date came and went with no delivery. Rescheduled, the installers put the appliances in, turned them on and left. 15 minutes later, when the washer is draining, I hear water splashing all over the floor. I call Miele immediately but the installers won't come back that day (In fact they imply the leaking is somehow my fault because "it was working when we left"). I turn the washer off so the flooding stops but the drum is still full of water and I can't use my new machine. Several days later, a technician comes. I had clearly told customer support that the leaking ONLY happened when the washer was draining. Despite this, technician arrives WITH NO PARTS. He determines the installers cut the drain hose during installation and now a new drain hose has to be ordered from Germany. That will take another 2 - 3 weeks, then they book another visit. Count 'em up folks, this is going to cost me AT LEAST 4 DAYS off work before I have a working washing machine. And that's another thing - Miele doesn't let you request a morning or afternoon visit, you get a text message the day before and either accept whatever time they give you, or you can expect several more days of waiting. ********** ***** ***** ********* **** *****. Oh, and last thing (not least). I told Miele I would rather they just come and take the washer/drying away and I'll choose another brand but their policy is NO RETURNS once the units are installed (even if they are installed incorrectly). No returns. On a $6,000 purchase.

      After purchasing an appliance and cancelling the order the very next day for an item not available for three weeks , Miele says that it takes 4 weeks to process any refunds. So they take your monies right away, while I have to pay interest on my credit card
      I was told management can not change this 4 week policy , no where is it written on my receipt that it takes 4 weeks for refunds
      I was also told they have one person in accounting and that she takes her time to review purchases against order numbers , ***** spread sheets ect as an explanation as to the lengthy process , also blaming it being a German Company when they clearly have a Canadian division
      This type of business practices should be stopped. This transaction has been reported to **** Disputes who can help retrieve your monies, which I suggest you do

      Several customers have complained about poor customer service, stating that they had to wait for hours on the phone to get assistance. This can be frustrating, especially when something goes wrong with the product. In such cases, customers expect timely and effective support from the manufacturer. Unfortunately, it appears that Miele falls short in this regard.
      As a result, customers who purchase Miele coffee maker should not expect much from their customer service. If something goes wrong with the product, they should be prepared for long wait times on the phone and possibly subpar support.
      Overall, the Miele coffee maker may be a good product for those who prioritize the quality of their coffee. However, it's important to be aware of the potential issues with the company's customer service and to set expectations accordingly

      I ordered a vacuum cleaner online from Miele Canada on Dec 18, 2022. Due to a mix up with the postal code for the address, ********* returned the shipment back to Miele. ********* provided me with proof of delivery back to Miele in Toronto (it was signed for by an individual in their shipping/receiving department). As of Feb 1, 2023, I have yet to receive a refund from Miele. I have called 6 times to discuss the situation and six times I have been told they are still confirming with their shipping department that they received the vacuum cleaner or we have requested the refund from our accounting department. I have provided them with the trace # that was provided to me by *********, however, still no response from Miele. At this point, I am out quite a bit of money and Miele does not seem to care one bit about their customers.

      Dreadful non existent service from Meile!
      Contacted them beginning of December to order a specific part we needed for Meile Dishwasher. They said we couldn't order this part from them directly but needed to prepay on our credit card $500.00 to send a service technician first, but he would have the part in his truck when he arrived. Not so! They charged us 289.00 plus hst for him to tell us, that he would order the part and get back to us. Never heard anything till Jan 6th. When he returned he had no part! Tried to tell my tenant it would cost 1k to service the dishwasher without even opening it to take a look! He had no idea whatsoever what he was doing and tried to suggest to my tenant that he should encourage us to purchase a new Dishwasher instead. When my husband tried to contact the technician to speak with him about where the part was and what did he actually do during the service call, he hung up on him.
