    2023 Sept. 21, I signed contract with Milano windows (MW) for 4 TRIPLE pane basement windows. Cost $2700 + HST. ***** is rep of MW

    Sept.25,2023 Paid deposit $675.00 by m/card

    Oct.4, MW (*****) said triple pane windows not possible Have to be double pane. Asked ***** for revised contract from triple to double pane windows. This was not done despite repeated requests. He confirmed in his 2023 Oct. 30 email that 'I would be charged for double panes and double panes would be installed.'

    Nov. 03, I called MW office. Spoke to ****** (*) who is the boss at MW. Told him the issues I've had with ***** re: getting a new contract, and installation date.

    Nov. 09, No one from MW came for window installation.

    Nov. 10, Nov.11, Nov. 13, 2023 I called ******, left messages for him to call me. Calls went unanswered.

    Nov. 30, MW crew installed 4 DOUBLE pane basement windows.

    ****** demanded payment of $2376- the amount for balance of Triple pane. DOUBLE pane was installed. Contract was not revised when MW could not install triple pane.
    * insisted I pay $2376.00. Otherwise he 'will proceed to collect using other means'. When paid in full, ****** will provide the agreement with Paid in Full stamped. ****** **** *** ******
    I emailed back. Asked * to send me an invoice for DOUBLE pane windows at the quoted cost of $2300 + HST
    When I receive his invoice, I will pay the balance of $1924.00

    On Dec 20 sent to * *****'s email of Dec 18 that confirmed DOUBLE pane windows were agreed at $2300 + HST for 4 basement windows.

    2023 Dec 20th ****** sent me a revised contract for DOUBLE pane windows. *** ********.

    I authorised * to charge $1924.00 for the balance of the cost of the 4 windows. On Dec 20 my credit card was debited for $1924.

    2023 Dec. 27 I emailed ******, asking him to acknowledge payment and to send me a receipt.

    To 2024 Jan 13 * hasn't acknowledged payment or sent me a receipt.

    Hello, The receipt of the payment and the warranty information has been given to this customer.  In fact, the warranty information is on the other side of the initial agreement.  We make sure to review this with each customer in detail.

    I am rejecting this response because: 

    Milano's response did not change anything. The company still hasn't provided the receipt for the payment I made. 

    The company *** ******* *** took 10 months to respond to my complaint, *** ***** ******** ** ** **** * ******* ** ******** ** *** ******* * ******* *** ********* 

    ******* ***** ******** ***** *** **** ******** ** **** **** ****** ********* ** ****** *** ******** * *** **** ** ****** **** ***** ******* ************. They did not chauk the windows during installation and when I called and spoke to the manager, he said the work has been completed. I had to do the job myself, filling in the gaps. 

    This response will confirm that I have paid for the windows installation in full, as the company has refused to provide me with a receipt. 

    The manager has tried to demand payment for 3 tier windows, when 2 tiers was installed. Refused to give me an invoice for payment, but just gave me a total amount for the 3 tiers windows.
