      Initial visit for repair of gas stove on 01DEC2021 - last visit/payment on 31MAR2022. Lengthy frustrating process, installation of faulty main board (confirmed by the technician), confirmed by phone and in writing with the company I would not be charged for the installation of faulty equipment, they ordered the wrong part, company tried to charge me for installation of the faulty equipment and a visit that did not happen. Also noticed bills provided had 3 different prices for the main board. One year and 8 months later, on 20NOV2023, I received 2 invoices by mail which they considered past due. Refer to the attached response I sent to the company on 22NOV2023 regarding their billing practices. My email was apparently referred to management. No response received. Follow up sent on 09JAN2024. No response or acknowledgment of receipt. 2nd follow up sent on 07 FEB2024. No response or acknowledgment of receipt.

      Thank you for your response and my apologies for the delay in responding.

       

      See below. I FINALLY got a very brief response from Home Appliance Care. There was NO apology, no clarification about their billing discrepancies.  At least they have indicated that nothing is required for the past due bills that were sent to me.

       

      I dont think there is any point trying to get any clarification from the company. I doubt there would ever be a response.

       

      I will NEVER use this company again or refer them to anyone.

       

      Thank you for your assistance. I probably would never have heard from them had BBB not gotten involved.

      The first technician from this company told me that "the noise is in my head" and that he will not fix anything because than I "might think something is wrong with the fridge". The second person disconnected the fridge, let it disconnected for 10 minutes than left. Somebody cancelled my THREE new requests for service. I was also lied to. They told me that they made a request to ** to repair the compressor. ** has no such request. The technicians didn't do anything to fix the problem. Now I have to disconnect the fridge from the electricity during daytime let it run only during nights because of the terrible noise. The refrigerator has very loud noise since it was delivered. It is not the fan, it is a loud grinding noise. I made a recording about the noise which is not normal for a less than a month old fridge and sent it to ** and this company by email. It is a disgrace to deny to fix my one month old fridge.
