    On April 20, 2022 I entered into a contract with Sunwave to have solar panels installed on my home and was advices that they would also assist in my application for the Greener Home rebate.

    My application for solar was approved by ***** on April 29, 2022

    A tentative install dated of June was told to me.

    I contact Sunwave several times in May and June to inquire as to the install date and was told "next month". I began to hear stories of them in the news not being able to complete installs, so I reached out via email on July 18th, 2022

    July 19th I received confirmation email that my request for a refund was forwarded to the cancellation team.

    August 22nd I called and followed up with an email as I still had not received my refund.

    August 24th received an email back that I would be refunded in 2-weeks time.

    October 12th I was approached by my original salesperson ***** ******, who confirmed with me that Sunwave was pulling out of Alberta as they could not fulfill the contracts they signed. He moved to another Solar provider.

    I have attempted to call Sunwave several times over the past few months with no response back from anyone.

    We were approached at the door to enter into a contract to supply solar panels to the roof of our home in Jun 2022. A site survey was done and they sent a surveyor with a drone to take pictures of our roof. We had a meeting with the salesman and signed paperwork. They were given a voided check to take a deposit of $600.00 from our account and nothing was ever done. They were supposed to complete the job in the fall of 2022. I have tried to get my deposit back but they won’t even call me back.

    March 19, 2022 my husband and I entered into an Installation Agreement for solar panels on our house with Sunwave. We paid them a $3,500 deposit 11 days after the effective date of the contract. The company committed to providing a final design before we paid 50% of our remaining balance. They came and took measurements of our roof lines, used a drone to take pictures, and provided pictures of what the outside unit would look like. Then in June they called to say we were approved with the utility provider and where finalizing design.
    I called in late October to find out what was happening to be told they were having supply chain issues. The agent said I couldn't wait for installation and that they would provide a refund. I called again in November and early December, spoke with a customer service agent and then a financial representative and was told I'd get my refund before the end of the year.
    No refund has been provided, no services have been provided and now all calls go unanswered and all messages (phone, email, etc.) remain unreturned.

    Sunwave Solar came door to door to promote solar energy panels for homes end of January 2022. We met with them and then had a site survey done. A void check was given so that when the work was to be approved and when papers were signed they would take $350. 12 days later $350 was taken from my account. No one asked and no papers were signed. Was told at some point that it would be August 2022 that work would start. A phone call in late August stated that the panels were being built. And then nothing. I have called twice in Jan 2023 and was promised that the money would be returned within 7-10 business days and now no one answers my calls. There is not account or tracking number because no papers were signed for agreement of installation. Kyle L. was the sales associate.

    We made a contract with Sunwave on April 19, 2022, and paid $600.00 and have been trying to get to the company, phone is always busy, and send email with no response, are very disappointed with the company
    Can you check into it for us , maybe you have better luck than we have

    On June 30th, 2022 I entered into a contract and paid a $3500 deposit to have solar panels installed on our home by Sunwave Solar. They were to start in August. I never saw them again. I called in mid-September and a lady on the phone said they were low on inventory and they weren't sure when they would be getting new panels in. She said it was due to 'shipping delays'. She said they would contact me when the panels arrived. She never called back. I have reached out several time and the line is always ringing 'busy' (off-the-hook). I have sent several e-mails, and none have been returned. I never got any money back. The door salesman contacted me one day to let me know he was sorry that he sold me this contract, and that he left Sunwave due to bad business practices. How do I get my money back????

    We signed up for solar panels June 2022 and provided a $600 deposit. Had our in home inspection. All was good.

    We were told that there were supply issues and install would be in September/October. When we received no contact we tried to call the company in Alberta. The number and website were out of service.

    We contacted our “salesman” and were advised that there would be no install. He offered to give us a discount with a new company in BC and advised that he was unsure if we would ever get our deposit back. We continued to try and contact the company but the phone number is not answered, the “contact us” page produces an error as the “page is not found”. I was able to submit an email through the media page requesting a refund and contact but have limited faith anyone will contact us.

    We have a signed contract and provided the deposit on good faith that the product would be installed. We would like our deposit refunded as no service was provided.

    Signed a contract in June 2022 for Solar panels on my house and paid a $600 deposit and was told they will install the solar system in August 2022. Called them in August and they mentioned they were a bit backlogged until September so we called in September and their phone line no longer works and no response to e-mails. Phoned multiple times and e-mailed multiple times and no response.

    I put down a $3500 deposit on June 21, 2022 for the installation of solar panels as well as doing all of the permitting, I believe the permitting is done but no information on the installation of the panels and there was no way of contacting the company as they seem to have discounted thier phones. I am concerned that we will not see any installations of the panels.

    They took a $350 deposit from us and then never did any work and will not answer phone calls or emails.
