Hired **** ******************** to pour concrete walls and stairs to a new side entrance that was 9x4. Paid 50% up front as he requested. The start date given was 2 weeks prior to when he actually started (which was just footings). Then we chased him to come complete the walls and stairs as soon as the walls were up. We got constant excuses as to why he couldnt come do the job. Weeks passed and he finally showed up for the walls. Then we started the process again of chasing him to complete the stairs (This was important, so we could get into the basement to do the renovation without interrupting the families living space). After multiple weeks of broken promises, he finally came. At this point we were 2 months into the project and were wasting hours setting up planks to get across to the opening safely (daily). After the saris went in he actually came to do the pad at the bottom of the stairs. This was done the same day as the biggest rain storm occurred of the summer. Of course he left an 8 section of pipe sticking out of the ground so the water filled the stairwell until it ran into the basement. He also sloped it towards the house to make sure it wouldnt ever drain. After this we paid the second 50% deposit. Final thing we repeatedly asked was to redo the stairs as they did not come close to matching and didnt pass code requirements (which he said he would and never did). Broken promise after broken promise. Now we are stuck hiring someone else at extra cost to redo the concrete steps, which will have to wait for spring weather and a year after he started the project. Stay away from this company. The business address shown above is fake. ******************** concrete is not a reputable company. They are the definition of take your money and run without completing what they were paid to do. Some days we would get a reply from Mrs ******************** making promises that wouldnt be kept. Let my ****** deter you from using these people.

Date: receipt received September 30, 2022, for work done in several days preceeding for total amount of $9,831.00. See attached receipt below. We had the work done because the cement slab was slanting towords the house and water/ice was gathering at the exit door. In the spring of 2023 when all the snow was gone we noticed a deep crack that went the entire horizontal length of the slab. Around the end of March/beginning of April we began to try to contact **** the business owner. He originaly did not respond at all. Finally, he sent an email saying he had been ill, but would be over the following week to look at the crack. He never came. Again we contacted him after several weeks. He again said that he would come over. Over the beginning of summer we have continued to email him, and left messages on his business phone. There has been no further response from him. We let him know we would be proceeding with trying to get a resolution through whatever means at our disposal. Still he has not contacted us.
