    I hired ******************** Concrete to pour walls, stairs, and parge a side basement entry. it was 10'x4' so a very small job. The owner scheduled multiple start dates that he didn't show up to. He kept promising weekend forming, that never happened. Once the walls were formed and poured, we played the same game again for weeks. Excuse after excuse were given. He didn't show up days and blamed the weather (i guess "Sunny" meant rain in his mind) and we didn't get a drop of rain those days. They took a 50% deposit, didn't complete the work to make it useable for months. The side entry would have allowed us to not have to trapse through our clients home, and use a 25" wide old stairwell to get in and out. The first rainfall after the pad at the base of the stairs was poured, leaked into the basement (Luckily there was no flooring to be ruined, and the water didn't soak all the drywall). I went by in the evening to chip up, and dig out the poorly sloped pad, and take the 8" ABS pipe they left sitting up in the drain that stopped any water from draining. ******************** sent someone by to pour the pad again, this time sloped **************** 50% payment was made at that point. Unfortunately!!We realized that the concrete stairs ******************** formed, were way off. They were sloped 3/4" over 10" front to back, they were humped, they were different widths from side to side, and the parging was never completed. Numerous emails, phone calls, voicemails, and texts messages were sent to the company, with almost no replies. One day Mrs ******************** replied, but it was just a ***** to waste more of our time. Further promises were made, and nothing happened. It is now Nov, and winter is approaching, and the stairs are a danger to the clients. We will now have to hire someone else at further cost to demolish the stairs and rebuild. I have never been stolen from like this before. i would have been better off burning $10,000 to stay warm, then hire this scam company
