    Be very careful signing a contract with Waste Connections of Canada. Read all fine print very carefully as there are some sketchy details in there. They will renew your contract with no notice and immediately start raising the price every 3 months. We have been through this 3 times with them. They are now asking for a liquidated damages fee to cancel a contract that I never signed and was renewed without notice to me. The fee happens to be almost exactly the amount I will save by switching to their competitor. The contract is a one sided document which basically says the customer has no rights and they reserve the right to increase rates and add fees as they please. 5 separate fees have been added to my bill in addition to nearly doubling the price of the basic service, all within their shady contract term. Service has been fine but they treat their customers poorly. We have been with them for at least 15 years(formally BFI) but they don't seem to ******** the other way.
