      This is actually regarding the *********** location but that wasnt an option After purchasing I new car I contracted my car insurance broker ****** at McFarlan Rowlands to find out what the new rate would be. After some time she contacted me with a quote that was double what I was paying. I asked her to look again for a cheaper rate, she replied saying she could not get a better rate. I then asked her what penalties I would have to pay if I decided to cancel and go to a new broker and insurance company. She responded saying I would have a refund amount of $130. I then told her I wanted to cancel and asked if the next scheduled payment of $195 would still be withdrawn from my account, she said it would and then I would get my refund with the paperwork was final. Approximately a month later I received a bill from my previous insurance company saying that I owed $63, I again contacted ****** asking her why I received this letter and what was going on. She then gave me a breakdown of payments and refunds that were apparently credited to my account and that it was correct that I still owed $63. I asked her how this happened since I had already asked her what the penalty would be and that was not what she told me. She got me in touch with her manager **** who also told me this was my fault for not understanding that the refund would be used on the account and that they were sorry but they couldnt do anything to have the money returned to me. I have multiple emails to confirm all of the communication between myself and ****** and myself and the manager Marg.
