      I have been a client of * * **** ********* [now McFarlan Rowlands] for over 26 yrs. I had signed up with them when I first was hired as a police officer with the Ontario Provincial Police. Many other emergency professionals had used them and they came recommended. I had my vehicle stolen in Apr of 2024 and was hoping that my broker [them] would be able to assist my throughout the difficult process. This was not done. I had a terrible experience and was left to deal with the claim experience on my own, and my file was transferred to another agent/company in the middle of the claim. My main contact was ******* ***** - who originally assured me on my initial call to the company to report the theft - that I had coverage for deprecation. When we went through the process she told I didn't have coverage [which was different than what she assured me], and then weirdly she told me the next day she had transferred or sold my file to another person. Its been a horrible experience. I have been nicely waiting to have this claim dealt with. Date of loss was Apr 4. Date of payment of cheque from Aviva was yesterday - June 5th. I still have no vehicle I would not recommend dealing here any further. They used to be a great business to deal with, but sadly that has not been my experience of late. I am moving my business elsewhere. Shawn T* ******* *******
