  My rating for Appliance Repair Crew Inc. ** *** *** *** *** **** ******** *** **** ********* ******** They are over priced and do not provide good service. I had my washing machine inspected and agreed to repair it on June 26. I was told my power/selection switch was fine, but that my machine needed to be calibrated. This took all of 30 mins. I was billed for $333.35 (this included a $25 off senior customer discount}. On the invoice it stated "service main board and safety system" and under parts "faulty lid lock assembly and timer, quote will be provided upon request if required". Two week later, my switch was not working again. After numerous phone calls, and btw, it takes forever to get an answer by phone, and they basically refused to let me speak to a manager or supervisor (none was ever available or in). I was provided an email which bounced stated "remote server misconfigured", then another email that bounced. Finally got yet email address to a Manager, who replied and refused to send a technician to come out to inspect my machine because the issue is the same, basically not even willing to honor their work in a 30 day period. Assuming the issue was exactly the same. The manager wanted me to order the "lid lock assembly and timer in order to have a technician install it. Btw my machine was functioning before without this for over a year. I paid so much money for nothing really! Money down the drain.
  This company repaired my fridge as well on June 26.. The technician took a quick look in the freezer (it is frost free, but was producing ice on the freezer floor and dripping water in the cooler part of the fridge). I paid $310.75 (this included a $20 discount for old customer). The invoice stated he serviced the main board and defrost system, took around 30 mins as well. He asked to use my vacuum cleaner as well for the back of the fridge. ** ******* ********** ** *** ** I really hope it is not going to conk out too!! I don't recommend this company. *******

  Do not recommend - *********** and overpriced - said $80 for inspection then billed $333 and tried to add further $732 for repairs he said needed, which was not the case and another company repaired the problem which was not what they said for a third of their price

  ********** * **** ******** They will come in for the $79 service call. Tell you that they need parts and they need to order it. The parts and labour are ridiculously expensive and they want shipping charge in addition for the parts. I called the manufacturer of the product part and they quoted me 60 dollars for the part. To install the part it would take 10 minutes. This company quoted me in excess of $400 dollars.   Called regarding my fridge was cooling told it would be $99.95 for the repair tech. he was here for oh maybe 45 minutes told me I needed a new capacitor assembly just so happens he had it in his tool pouch. Hands me a bill when he is done for 652.00 - 295.00 for labour charges and another 357. for the capacitor he wanted to take the burnt one with him, but I said no leave it i ****** the
  part online and it sold for 25.00 * *** ******* I needed the fridge working but this bill was way out of line I looked also and I could have gotten a new fridge for $1,100.00

  The worst service ever I have got in my life. Very unprofessional and do not help or respond. The technician opened my half working dryer and left it open for 3 weeks to come back and fix it.

  It was my understanding that the $79 plus tax would cover the cost of accessing our fridge's problem. Before the technician would look at our fridge we had to agree to pay $295 plus tax (which included the $79). The tech then pulled out the fridge and removed the back panel. We were then told that it was the fan in the fridge (exhaust fan) due to the seal in the middle of the french doors missing a piece. If the fan was inside the fridge and the missing seal is also in the fridge why would the control panel need to be opened? Why did the cost of accessing our issue go from $79 to $295?
  During the assessment our fridge was unplugged. When it was plugged back in, it was 14 degrees. Overnight, the fridge was still 14 degrees and we lost all our food. Two days later it was still only 13 degrees. Before the tech removed the control panel, the fridge was 6-7 degrees and ice would form. Now the fridge cannot get cold enough.
  Ultimately the technician's assessment broke our fridge completely. Up till now our issue was ice forming, now we do not have a fridge at all. When I contacted them 3 times they would not respond to our concern.

  I made an appointment through ********* APP . ARC. APPLIANCE REPAIR CREW responded via a chat in app and I was told there would be a $79 service charge but if tech does any work it will be waived and only labour charged. Tech said sensor malfunctioned on appliance. He worked 1 hr 20 minutes and I got charged $497.20 for what ? Part was only $110 plus 1.3 hrs work = labour $ 102.70 plus taxes on both = $240.35 at best so being charged approx. $500 it came to basically double ????? Some creative accounting at best !!!! Appliance broke a few weeks later and they would not honour 30 day warranty ? **** * **** * **** **** **** **** ** ** *** *** ** ********** Then he asks you to sign your name on his cell to get invoice & receipt forwarded ( it never came ) . A week later it worked but within a few weeks after that it conked . I called them up and they confirmed an appointment but DID NOT CALL OR SHOW UP . When I called them back they said they had called to confirm on day of appointment and person on other end of phone CANCELLED …. HUH …. OUTRAGEOUS ….. THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS OR FORCED TO REVIEW THEIR POLICIES AND BUSINESS PRACTICES AT THE VERY least.
  I contacted ********* and they said there was nothing they could do as they only provide the service as an introduction so you are on your own after that …. *** ***** ***** **** *** ***** ********* ** ***** **** *** ** **** ** *** *** ** **** *** ******* *** **** ******* **** *** ** *

  Do not use this company "Appliance Repair Crew". I don't usually leave reviews, but I would leave zero stars if I could. I should have read the reviews here before calling. ***** ****** *** ********** ********. Charged me $300 for labour, fiddled around for an hour, says I need a part and then left. I left 2 emails over 24 hours and no response. I finally left them an :( rating on square and 5 minutes later I get an email telling me the part has been discontinued. I called them to tell them my dissatisfaction and Awneet (who told me she is the manager), I asked her if she is unwilling to help me, yes or no, she just kept replying labour is non-refundable. I would've been happy with a partial refund. I said this will lead to a bad review and she says you already did (which I'm guess is why she finally replied after a day).
  I get times are tough for everyone but this feels very dishonest to me and I guess I learned a $300 lesson. Do not use this company "Appliance Repair Crew".

  I would NEVER use this service again *** ********* ** **** ******* ****. I called them to look at my freezer/ice maker which was not freezing. After a lengthy conversation of what if's, we agreed to go ahead with the repair provided the technician was able to diagnose that it was not a compressor problem, which would be an expensive repair. After about an hour and a half, with NO discussion of any parts needed, the technician announced he found the problem and fixed it. He said the freezer had not been receiving cooling signals from the fan and that it was now fixed. He said to give it a couple of hours and the freezer and ice would be working again. He charged me $333 for the repair and left. The next day, there was absolutely no difference in my freezer. It was still not freezing and the ice maker was still not working. I called them first thing in the morning and the RECEPTIONIST told me I needed a new part. I could not believe how ridiculous this was. There was no mention of needing a new part let alone WHAT that part would be. The receptionist insisted that the technician had told me I might need a new part when he left and that this was noted on the invoice. **** *** ** ******** ***. He actually told me he fixed the problem and left. Also, when I opened his email, I realized he had sent the receipt only with no invoice attached. They are out to take your money and run.
