    This company is continuously calling my phone with false information and threats and I must be placed on the do not call list asap or reporting fraud.

    TPH Legal Services is representing *** ********** ******** LTD on behalf of ******** ***** ****. There is an outstanding balance of $876.75 that was assigned to our office in October of 2023. This debt was incurred October 29, 2022. 

    TPH legal services has placed the account in a do not call status which means the consumer will no longer be contacted by our firm, however the debt still remains outstanding and owed to ******** ***** ****

    They called me threatening about a repoman in my file if i didnt pay right away regarding an old **** account when i asked them to provide any doccumentation proving that i owe THEM money they insulted me and hung up i called back they said they could ask for paperwork to prove but that some contract were inexistant and I couldnt acces them i asked him to have his macine stop calling me he said yes

    The machine never stopped calling me so i called back said i was waiting on doccumentation before paying the girl started yelling at me saying it was MY fault and MY obligation to pay them or they'll send a repoman i told her that im waiting on the paperwork cause some charges are illegal on that paper ***** * *** ** **** *** * **** **** she said not her problem so i hung up and making this complain

    Good Day, 

    Thank you for the consumer's comments. TPH legal services has reviewed the consumer's account with our office relating to an outstanding **** debt incurred in 2019. Our last direct contact with the consumer was December 29th, 2023 in which he advised that he was incarcerated and that he was disputing the account. The agent handling the account requested that the consumer provide proof that he was being charged while incarcerated in order to assist with the disputed balance. The consumer has not provided the documentation as such we consider the matter open. We would like to work on a resolution with the consumer to close this matter but valid evidence of his dispute is required. TPH Legal services has placed the account in a do not call status until we receive proper evidence from the consumer supporting his claim

    As this is the first documented request through the BBB channel of a request for documentation, we fail to understand the rejection. TPH legal services is following the proper process to validate the debt and provide the documentation required to show the consumer the debt is valid. If no documentation is available, TPH legal services will close the account

    We have requested the supporting evidence from our client. The account has been placement on hold and we have not attempted to contact the consumer directly. TPH has reviewed all of the calls between the consumer and our office and at no time has the debtor been threatened with a "repoman" coming to the consumer's residence

    They are trying to collect a debt for the ******** ******** ********* who i have no recollection of having a contract or agreement with. i have repeatedly asked them to send me a copy of the original agreement but they have not done so. i have no clue how old this matter is as all i get from them is an email to my work that they will file bankruptcy on my behalf to confiscate any assets that i may have if i dont pay up. i still dont even know what is the amount i am suppose to owe.

    Hello my problem is I got an email from TPH legal service threatening me about an outstanding balance of 5023.69 My bill is 1300 They are trying to charge me 3700 in interest fees ****** *******  the max in Canada for interest is 60% I want to know how and who came up with this amount I want answers I deserve answers this is a ridiculous amount it’s not a normal amount

    Thank you for your communication. We have requested back up from our client Canada Tax Review to validate the total outstanding balance. To clarify for the consumer, TPH Legal Services does not charge interest on behalf of our clients, the balance and breakdown of balances are provided directly from our client. No legal action has commenced thus no legal fees have been applied. We have placed the account on a courtesy hold and requested validation of charges from our client. We will provide an update once the supporting documentation is received

    I was offered a 3,300 settlement on payment plan because I have been on dissability with cancer and my wife started a job and dissability let me go. She doesn't make enough to pay out right the balance so they offered me 100$ a month settlement. Now they have kept the payments and claimed it as interest on behalf of ******** ****. But they bought the dent with ******** ****. They are ******** the money and now claiming I haven't been paying g. They have the recorded messages aswell as my voice messages they left me. I have the documents proving it was paid directly as a bill payment.

    Good Day,  

    I can confirm that the consumer has made payments directly to TPH Legal Services in the amount of $200. I would like to clarify some of the items raised in the consumer's complaint 

    1- TPH Legal Services did not purchase the debt. We are retained on behalf of the holder of the debt to recover the outstanding balance and are not reporting to the consumer credit report the original trade hold - ******** **** Bank is accurately reporting the account as a R9 Bad Debt Write off to the consumer credit report as the account went delinquent October 2021.

    2- The interest rate applied to the account is the contractual interest rate in the cardholder agreement the consumer agreed to when he used the card for purchases. TPH Legal services is not apply its own interest to the account. The consumer is contractually required to pay the interest based on their agreement with ******** **** Bank.  

    Hopefully this clarifies the consumer's concerns related to his account with our office

    TPH has continued to call my residential telephone number with an automated system that directs me to call their office. No individual at this residence goes by the name given on the phone message by TPH. When attempting to contact this company there is no option to speak with someone to have my number removed.

    I’ve been receiving voicemails from this company TPH law since I got this phone number a decade ago. They are always leaving messages thinking I’m ***** ******** (not me) asking me to call TPH law to settle a collection issue. I’m now receiving voicemails directed to another person on a daily basis! *** ********** ****** ** ***** ** ********* **** ***** ***** *** every call I make to them goes unanswered. * **** ** ***** *** **** ****** ** *** ***** *** *********** ******** ** ******* Please take me off your list!
