I didn’t realize that you don’t install the buildings. I really enjoyed your customer service that I received from **** ***** She is very knowledgeable and a great asset to your company. She worked hard trying to come up with a plan that would meet my financial goals but we just couldn’t get it done. I was used to the tubular type metal buildings which are cheaper in price. I am sure yours are much stronger but I am on a budget that would not allow me the difference in the price.TORO Steel Buildings Ltd.

ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE
My recent interactions with Toro have been completely favorable. We are looking for a smaller building to use for my she-shed/craft space. Working with **** was great. She was pleasant, professional and extremely helpful, ready to assist in every way. Unfortunately something came up that caused us to have to delay our build until we return to our home base at a later date but I look forward to doing business with **** in general and **** in particular at that time. So far, so good. I purchased a 30x40' building from Toro last fall, due to winter in Wyoming, its taken a while to get it assembled.
The building is a style which uses shipping containers as side walls. After welding a flat plate all the way down the edge of each container and proper spacing and welding the securing brackets to the inside edges, all we needed was weather to cooperate! I pre-assembled the trusses on the ground, and attached the two center ones together. I double checked the level and square of the boxes. Fortunately, the neighbors were building a large garage and had a telehandler available, which we were able to procure for an hour. We set the first two and proceeded with squaring and securing them to the bases. From there, assembly has gone fairly smooth using my tractor with a loader with pallet forks and a long 3x5" extension. We're to the point of roofing that last side, but weather has put a hold on that for a few days.
Assembly has gone well after we figured out what pieces went where in this jigsaw puzzle. I guess that's my only gripe as the blue prints weren't real specific about what went where, but we 'Got er Done'!TORO Steel Buildings Ltd.

Bought a 30 x 46 steel shop for my property ** ********* ******. Toro was great to deal with and customer support was great. A few missing parts when it showed up so be sure to check the delivery to make you have all parts. They did send all the missing parts as soon as i contacted Toro. This shop did need a contractor to help build as I had to rent a telehandler forklift and a 4x4 scissor lift to build it. It was out of my skill level to build on my own. If you get a building permit you will need to have the foundation engineered and stamped as the stamped drawings that come with the kit do not include stamped foundation drawings. The engineer did not accept a slab and wanted footings and walls poured and rebarred to the slab floor as we are in an earthquake zone. This added another $40k to the cost, plus the contractor and equipment rentals was another $38k. Garage door $5k and man doors $1k.
These are things to consider when buying a building of this size. But Toro was very good to deal with and responsive to my calls and emails. A nice touch I included was the translucent light panel along the top of the South facing wall. Adds alot of daylight to the shop.
Make sure to have the shop insulated and vapour barrier so it won't create condensation inside.
Overall I am satisfied with the experience. I gave a 4 star rating only because of the missing parts. This did delay the build as I had to wait for delivery of the missing parts.TORO Steel Buildings Ltd.
