We contracted with Roger at Inter Loc Kings to take care of our snow ploughing needs over the winter. The contract was signed and payment delivered to him in October of 2022. his explanation to us was that he comes only the accumaltion is above 2.5cm, which is standard. But also that he will come at least twice - once shortly after the snowfall ends and once to plough away any city cleared snow at the foot of the driveway. He was referred to us by our previous provider who moved to a different area. Well Roger at Inter Loc Kings has been nothing short of a disaster. The very first time it snowed in Nov 2022, he arrived. Late. The truck carved up our lawn in 4 spots where he pushed the snow. I saw huge chunks of dirt. I sent pictures to Roger, but no response. he was texted and called, but returned no calls. Over Christmas, he was again late in arriving, by almost 15 hours after a snowfall. In February he didn't even show up after a 10cm snowfall. And one other time he again carved up our lawn. He never returns his tesxts or voicemails and now of course, his voice mail is full. This man has zero business scruples from what interaction we have had thus far.

    Business Response

Oh come on *****, are you serious? Wow man. Unbelievable.

    **** *****
    ****** ***** ** ** * ******* ******* *** *********** ** ** **** ** **** ******* ****** *** ***** *********** *** ***** * ***** ** ** ***** ********* * ******** ** ***** ** ******** ******
Anyways, we just wanted to take the time to thank you for the lovely
feedback and it was an absolute pleasure dealing with you as a first-time
customer (coming as a referral and favour to boot) over the last winter season.
We certainly would appreciate if 1000 customers, some of which dating back into
the double digits of years historically would all be more proactive and remember
to set up their robo-dialers to light up our phones throughout the entire
    winter season.

We also would just like to thank and extend our appreciation for you sending
us publicly your rough draft of the fictional short story that you came up with
and have been working on. Considering all the time and effort you spent in
crafting it and also doing us the pleasure of letting the public know that you
gave us the first chance to proof-read, we would gladly like to show our
gratitude by giving it a read and correcting your spelling and grammar
mistakes. As an added little thank you from us, we will even spend a bit of
extra time and do the fact checking component for you, since my suggestion is
to publish in the ‘non-fiction’ or ‘true-story’ section of the digital library
as opposed to the ‘fiction’. Honestly, no, no please, we don't want anything
for our time spent helping you with this. If you like, you could simply just
follow up with a thank you on the robo-dialer, but that is not even expected or
    necessary to be honest.

So, there is some custom terminology that I’ll try to bring you up to speed
with as it relates to our Fact Checker 3000 with the ***. Detection Upgrade. In
a few minutes it will be warmed up and just to quickly fill you in and
summarize what we will do from here, it is fairly simple and straight forward
to be honest. So, the best way for us to help you with the spelling, grammar and
fact check, is just to break down your fictional short story into smaller ‘bits’
which can also be referred to as ‘loads of ****’. So, what we will do is break
down the ‘loads of ****’ so it can be processed by the Fact Checker 3000 with the
**** Detection Upgrade and tackle it a few sentences at a time. The reason
being, is when you have a fictional story like the one here, when there are too
many ‘loads of ****’ piled together in one story, it just clogs up the machine.
Now, even though after the first skim-through, we are pretty sure that the print-out
will read “Extremely Likely To Be ****” from the **** Detector and “Extreme
Adjustments Needed” by the Fact Checker, it’s best to just try and be as accurate
    as possible.

    --- 15 MINS LATER ---

After breaking down your fictional short story into smaller ‘bits’ and processing
the ‘loads of ****’, after having to unclog the machine numerous times, the
printouts were exactly as we expected. Our apologies that it took a bit longer
to process but that was quite the story.

---We contracted with Roger at Inter Loc Kings to take care of our snow
ploughing needs over the winter. The contract was signed and payment delivered
to him in October of 2022.---

All seems to be correct. From what I have heard, readers of short stories like
to see details and since we are going to help you go from fiction to
non-fiction, maybe you want to provide a little more depth, such as a more
exact date and an amount? Perhaps services included? How about October 27th
2022 and a total, final paid cost of $399 by way of cheque. Full unlimited snow
removal service for 6 months which covers the whole driveway, the hand shovel
of the walkways, steps, porch and anything else necessary to the front door of
the property.... Return visit after city service.... (We also did confirm and
fact check that for you.) I do believe you meant to say 'Interloc-Kings Inc.' ?
Might just be nitpicking here but I would maybe change the spelling to
'plowing' as opposed to 'Ploughing'? Both are acceptable but maybe you are referencing
the carving up of the lawn in the four spots with the huge chunks of dirt later
in the story? If that’s the case, maybe leaving the spelling as ‘ploughing’ is
    best.

--- his explanation to us was that he comes only the accumaltion is above
2.5cm, which is standard. But also that he will come at least twice - once
shortly after the snowfall ends and once to plough away any city cleared snow
at the foot of the driveway.---

Converting a fictional short story to non-fiction / true-story sometimes needs
quite a bit of help. Not to worry, that’s why we’re here. Recommend placing the
word 'after' in between the words 'only' and 'the'. That's the easy part. The fact
checker confirms that nothing was ever said about 2.5cm triggering service as
per the contract and as per every single contract signed. We are talking many
many thousands of examples. Yes it is true that on large storms, service will
be provided more than once and the city windrow is also included in the service
and so the trucks come back to clear out the bottom after the city has made
their rounds. (which is sporadic and very unpredictable but usually many, many
hours after the storm is over). The vehicles monitor the areas that have been
    serviced as best they can.

--- He was referred to us by our previous provider who moved to a different
    area. ---

Yes, ******* is a great guy and we had a large part in building his business
before he decided to move up north.

--- Well Roger at Inter Loc Kings has been nothing short of a disaster. ---

Disaster eh? Wow. Definition of disaster: (noun) a sudden event, such as an
accident or a natural catastrophe, that cause great damage or loss of life. Daaang.
That’s a bit harsh, no? Anyway, I’m a firm believer of freedom of speech, so,
however you wish to describe. & It is Interloc-Kings Inc.

--- The very first time it snowed in Nov 2022, he arrived. Late. ---

I guess that depends on your interpretation of late. If you mean that we
didn’t have a truck fully dedicated and parked in your driveway for the entire
season to service you and only you, and also did not come as soon as one sat at
the window staring at the snow accumulate until they felt it had juts barely
hit 2” (5cm) only to set the robo-dialer ablaze on why nobody had arrived yet,
then in your eyes, we call it late.

--- The truck carved up our lawn in 4 spots where he pushed the snow. I saw
huge chunks of dirt. I sent pictures to Roger, but no response. he was texted
and called, but returned no calls. Over Christmas, he was again late in arriving, by almost 15 hours after a snowfall. ---

Well, we were ‘ploughing’ on that occasion. I can’t answer a hundred of your
calls in the middle of an active storm my friend. Imagine, (let’s just use a
round number of 500), people wanted the attention you wanted throughout the
winter. You would even tell ME two days before a snowstorm was coming to be
prepared. 500 people at even just a one minute phone call is 500 minutes. That’s
(8.5) eight and a half hours straight of phone calls at one minute a piece. We
are the largest residential snow removal provider in Markham okay? We have been
for many years. If our service was so bad last year as you claim, then why are
you the only person shipping off your fictional novel for review? Would we not
get hundreds of negative reviews across the board? Yet, you are the only one.
    ******* *** *** ********** ** **** *************

--- In February he didn't even show up after a 10cm snowfall. ---

Ya, sure. This is another spot where the Fact Checker and **** Detecting
machine choked on the ‘loads of ****’. Again, I reiterate… We are the largest
residential snow removal service provider in Markham. We have been doing this
for about 15 years now. Yet we just never show up according to you. First time
customer, definitely will be the last.

--- And one other time he again carved up our lawn. He never returns his tesxts
or voicemails and now of course, his voice mail is full. This man has zero
business scruples from what interaction we have had thus far. ---

I guess we should just start advertising lawn carving from the amount of
times I’ve heard this now. I never return my texts? I’ll just give three then
as that’s enough to prove you’re full of it. If it is in the middle of the storm,
maybe I cannot always instantly respond but I can assure you that it is because
we are all doing our absolute best to get through our routes and service every
single one of our good customers as fast as we possibly can. Why would we
    possibly do any different?

Friday December 16th – Hi Roger, thanks for coming today!……
Thursday January 26th – Okay, ****** is here!
Saturday March 4th – Roger, thanks for your message!....

    We’ve had
people not understand how it works before with insane expectations, only to try
a different company and come running back the following year. There is only so
much we can do and I stand behind all my guys as I know they do their absolute
best every storm. I do wish you all the best though. Adios!

    Roger
