      8 months I haven't had my meter read. 8 MONTHS! Every emails receives some generic response filled with grammar mistakes and no one can tell me why it's not fixed or when it will be fixed. They even had the audacity to bill me for a month with 0 readings and refused to refund the amount after in writing admitting it was done in error.

      I have been receiving overdue notices for bills before my account even began with them. After reaching out to sort it out (an hour long hold time), a week later I receive a disconnection notice dated after that call with a different amount owing! For a unit I’d been renting/living in for all of 10 days. Their customer service personnel are great to deal with if you can stick it out long enough to speak to one…. But having to have called them multiple times in a month is ridiculous! Their delivery fees are insanely high, but that’s just the joy of living in Alberta where they aren’t capped…. but their connection fees are actually *******… and because you have no choice if your building meters with them they can (and do) whatever they want. While it’s small in the grand scheme of things, I’ve also been fighting the “paper billing fee” for an account which has been paperless since day 1.

      Got a bill for service that did not ask for it. And it was almost impossible to cancel the bill.

      I have been dealing with Metergy Solutions for a few years. It has been a far better experience than with any other electricity company I have dealt with. When you are late paying they work with you, they are patient, they don’t cut you off **** * **** ***** **** **** ***** *********** ********** You don’t come home to the power off. They give you much notice and much time to pay so you don’t experience disconnection. They understand and are patient for a payment when you are not working. They are very easy to deal with. I highly recommend Metergy Solutions. They have been a very pleasant company to deal with.

      * ***** ******** ******* ****** *********** ******* ********* *** *** ***** ********* I moved out of my apartment at *** * *** **, Calgary in February 2025 and submitted the move-out form on their website. I made it very clear multiple times (via email and phone) that I was not transferring services to a new address and wanted my account canceled. Despite this, they continued charging me for months, even though I was no longer using their service. Their system does not allow customers to remove auto payments, and they withdrew charges like $38.73 for March, $18.15 (claimed as a “final” payment), and now another $35.68 — all without valid justification. What made it worse was their horrible customer service: I waited on hold for over an hour on multiple occasions. Emails I sent were either ignored or answered once and then left hanging. Representatives gave conflicting information — one apologized on the phone while another emailed me saying they couldn’t stop a scheduled payment and might refund me later via cheque. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. * **** **** *** ***** ***** ********* *** It shouldn’t take over three months, multiple calls, and constant follow-ups to cancel a simple account and stop auto payments. I do not recommend this company to anyone — their customer service and billing practices are unacceptable.

      Have not been able to access my account for two weeks. What is worse is twice they sent me the credentials for other people!

      Didn't get any bill for months and months was promised a bill shortly logged in online okay 100 $ balance paid ... next months to come didn't get anything or see any balance then suddenly received a letter stating they had made a mistake on my reading on another unit and will be fixed soon then wham! Suddenly come December/January I get soon many non stop calla after calls after calls telling me that I have to pay 1400$+ by January 19th 2025 and I only moved in june2024. Where I'm living services from this company is mandatory and also if we don't pay it creates possibilities of immediate eviction and another thing water heat are both supposed to be free but they are also charging me for that as well. I'm thinking that if this is how it'd going to be * ***** **** ** ******* *** ************* **** ***** *** **** ** ******* ** **** **** ** * ***** ****** *** ***** *** * **** **** *** *** **** ** *** *** **** ** **** ******** ** *** ****. What's worst is in winter it's bone chilling freezing cold and in summer ooooh goodness it's skin peeling blistering hot hot hot yeah something is definitely wrong here please help somebody

      Terrible customer service, extremely unhelpful and the bills are significantly higher than a previous energy company the building was using. If I had an option to pick another company, 1000% I would!
