      I owned a 400sq ft condo in a building that used metergy. Every month my power bill was higher in the condo than in my own 2500 sq ft house. **** ******* ** ******** *** ** ***** ******** ***** **** **** ** *** **** * *******

      Unfortunately I feel that this company is * **** **** *** just out to over charge because there is no way my light bill can be almost $400 for one month when we are barely home at this point I feel like there fixing the meter to read what ever it is they want it to read, ********* ******** **** *** **** *

      overcharging on electric and a convenience fee for each bill payment. Impossible to get into contact with and when you do they take 2 weeks to reply then another two to resolve.

      Doubled my bill from last month and my usage was less than last month. Increase rates with no explanation and it’s higher than the regulated rate set by Alberta standards

      I was randomly double billed in a month due to their system error, which they admitted was on them. Even though this was their error, they still expected me to pay double what my hydro would normally be. When I tried to bring that up my concern was waved off and was asked when I could pay it all. I then asked to speak to a manager and was told they need to be emailed and will call me. I guess they don't have phones that can transfer calls. They have THE WORST customer service i have ever experienced.

      I have complained about not getting bills for over a year, receiving an explanation that there was a problem with my meter which would be resolved in a few weeks. Every single complaint was responded to with this same response. Over a year later, I finally received a bill for a year's worth of service and was offered a payment plan to help break up the payments. I agreed and they set me up, and told me to look for my next bill which would reflect the payment plan. Months later, I've received another bill for the full amount, all due at once or they will send it to collections. ******* ** *** **** ** * ***** ******** I don't understand how they are allowed to be in business ***** *** ****** ** ********** ***** **** ***** ******

      **** *** ********* I am not receiving my bills from metergy. The last bill I received was in July! So I paid the measly $3.64 owing. I did not get August’s bill then I did get a letter saying I owed July and August’s bill and my hydro was going to be cut off Sept. 9th. I paid the August bill and spoke at length to ‘Rupal’, customer service about the problem. Fast forward to Sept. 17th and no bill has been received for two months. Further, I can’t pull up the bill as it is not available. So I can’t see how much I owe taking August’s payment off. I am in the same boat where I could get a call from their ‘collection’ dept. or a letter threatening to disconnect me. And I have been waiting for a customer service rep on the phone for just over an hour! Where is the competition in this country? Why can’t I choose what hydro company I want to be with…because I am in a building complex! ** ****** ** *** ** **** *** *** ******** ** *******

      ***** **** Not only have I never signed an agreement with Metergy, they will demand payment for "post-dated" months back 6 months after they were acquired by ********** Properties. **** ** ******** **** *** ** **** * **** ********** -refusing to provide proof of metering -charging monthly services fees in excess of even the "agreed" ** charge in the new lease -"THERMAL" charges which use MY electricity is used to heat the in-unit tank ***** **** *** ***** **** * **** *** **** * ****

      I was away for three weeks and I had spikage of usage in my unit. I called them and they could not explain it and wouldn’t give me any answers. A few months before that we had a power outage and I had spikes in usage. Totally inaccurate and overcharges.
