and the battery capacity drop down to 40%. Since it was under a warranty, we contacted and did a test for that. Victoria dealership said we are qualified and then they applied for the new battery which was last AUGUST. We have been waiting for 6months and dealership saying they don't know how long it will take and there's nothing they can do. Now I can't use my car to commute to work cz of the poor battery condition. I'm very disappointed with the service you provide.
We want to know how the process goes and how long it will take! This is ridiculous!

As has been communicated to you both by the dealership and Kia Canada Customer Experience, the extended warranty (10 years OR 200,000KM) for your vehicle expired , effective July 31, 2022.

As a result, the cost of the required repairs (engine replacement) will be your financial responsibility.

Kia Canada is unable to meet your expectation for financial assistance towards the cost of repairs.

My 5 years of complimentary Kia connect service has recently expired. For a number of weeks I have attempted to buy a new subscription on their website @kiaconnect.ca. All attempts have failed giving me nothing but an 'error message'. I have written and called the helpdesk a number of times with no successful outcome. Initially they suggested this was a problem with my laptop server, but eventually they reluctantly admitted it was their problem and they were 'working on it'.
    ,
I have given up as it would seem most of the Kia sites are not working properly, and they are not following up with my issue as promised a number of times. I now think the Kia dealerships in Canada could be on very thin ice.
I was thinking of upgrading my 5 year old car, but it will now not be with Kia.

To all current and potential Kia customers, If you take the time to read to the end of our story, you will never deal with Kia again. Kia is a company that operates in bad faith, and they are unconcerned as to how their bad faith dealings impact their customers or their brand. There is no weight to Kia's "outstanding Total Care Ownership Coverage" warranty or goodwill. They do not stand behind their product. I own 2 Kia's, a 2017 Sorento and a 2018 Forte. Based on my family's early experiences with our Kia's my parents purchased a Sportage, and our best friends purchased a Forte. If they were to ask us today, our opinion would be very different. Our opinion of Kia changed when we took our 2017 Sorento to *** **** in January 2022 for an inspection. After the inspection, Kia determined that the engine needed to be replaced. Kia let us know that the engine replacement would not be covered under warranty. They justified their position because the vehicle was inspected seven (7) business day after they warranty had expired. For background, Kia's "outstanding Total Care Ownership Coverage" warranty is in place for 5 years of the in-service date or 100,000 kilometers, which ever comes first. At the time of our inspection in January, our Sorento had only 74,000 km's on it, well under the 100k mark. ** ******** *** *** ******** ***** ******* *** **** ******** ******** ****** ***** *** ******* ******** **** **** ****** *** ******** ******** **** ****** ******** ******* **** *** ********* ********* **** ** *** ***** **** ** ***** *** ******* ** *** *** ********** ***** ******* ** ***** ***** **** ***** *** ******** **** ***** ***** ************ ***** **** ********* ********* ******** *** ******** *** **** has confirmed that the engine failure occurred before the vehicle arrived at their repair facility. This is not in dispute. Further, Kia's warranty does state that failure needs to be confirmed before the warranty has expired, it only talks about the warranty
