Moving service provided on May 3, 2025 Total: $827.73
I've been trying to solve this issue, but they stopped responding on May 6. They are offering to send people to our home to reassemble our furniture, but we handled it as we can't sleep on floor and not have beds. They are also comparing my previous move to the service provided on May 3rd.
I had previously used moving services with this company on April 2022 for my ENTIRE home's content, this time I hired them to move only a few items This move was for 2 beds, 1 treadmill, 1 small desk, 1 couch, 1 bin (almost empty) and 2 or 3 boxes.
Their service is to disassemble items, load them to their truck, drive to the new location, unload and assemble in the new home. They were supposed to arrive between 8-11am, and they showed up until 1:30pm, which significantly delayed the entire moving schedule. Furthermore, they were slow disassembling the beds, sofa, and even my treadmill. My husband had to guide one of them on how to disassemble the couch.
Most concerning, I found unused pieces and screws from my beds, the trundle bed of my daughters room was built incorrectly so it was not possible to open it, it was locked. It was so bad, we asked them not to assembly the couch as we didn't want further damage to our furniture.
When we checked my bed to reassemble it, it was left basically with just 2 screws holding the frame to the headboards, the mid support for the mattress was not locked in place.

I paid in full expecting this company to be responsible and accountable for the many mistakes and delays. At least one full hour or more were wasted, plus my furniture was damaged, plus arriving 2.5 hours late.
I am requesting a partial refund of at least 50% of the fee and I ask that this matter be resolved promptly. This has cause incredible delays for our move and we had to disassemble and reassemble 2 beds, plus assemble a couch.Initial Complaint

This moving company required a detailed furniture inventory. I carefully outlined the amount of furniture and boxes that I required to be moved. They provided an estimate of 5 hours with a three man crew and a truck.
My inventory stayed the same but they sent 4 men and it took them nine hours and two trips with a truck that was too small.
The salesperson changed the estimate on the day of the move, without advising me, even though we spoke on the phone that day. The original estimate was originally $1100, then the it changed to $1501.50 and in the end they charged me $2067. I had selected this company for the main reason of their quote, based on the same estimate I had sent other companies.
I provided a credit card number on their website for the $200 booking deposit and they ************, and without my consent in any way, used that information to charge me the additional $1867, despite the fact that we were disputing the charges based on the egregious underestimation of the move, the incompetence of the moving company and the damages to my home and possessions.
They finally agreed to give me a $270 refund, which was only based on the meagre insurance they offer ($30 total for a broken dresser and light) and $240 as a discount for the extra trip they had to make, but they did NOTHING to address the damages they made to my home, including several HUGE scrapes in the walls and damage to the paint ******* *** ****** **** ********* *** ******* ** ********* ** *** **** However they will not provide the refund unless I remove any negative reviews online, which I'm not willing to do.
I was willing to pay the second estimate amount of $1501.50 but they would not accept that and then charged my card without my permission. We spent hours on the phone arguing with the representative, who would not listen to us and was insulting and rude. They also take almost a week or more to return any emails or phone calls. Unprofessional and ********.Initial Complaint

Happy Ending Movers??? **** ** ******** **** **** ***** **. First off the gentleman Sam when he came to my house to give an estimate for the cost of moving he was in and out of the house within I would say 10 minutes which is not even close to what you would need to do a thorough estimate and quote. *** **** ****** *** left saying I will get you the quote by EOD. Got the quote and I was quoted 5.5 hours for completion of both residences. Moving day! they showed up on time and everything was going smooth until we had to leave and go to the new address which was only a 15 min drive away and they had roughly about 25-30 min left of moving to do. they then showed up about 2 hours later to move into the new unit. they damaged property moved like molasses and we’re taking selfies with my dog. when everything was all said and done I was left with a bill of $2200 when I was quoted $1100 so they basically double charged me and when I confronted the company afterwards they said they can only reimburse me for 1 hour because their guys always do a good job and they were saying I had more stuff than they had planned. which was not the case we actually downsized quite a bit. in regards to the damaged property they put it through their insurance company and they said it was not significant enough of damage so they are not covering it. but as a good will gesture will credit me $75 for something I paid $700 for and this after almost a month of fighting with them. ***** **** ******* **** ***** ***** ** **** ***** ** **** *** ********* ************** **** **** *** ***** ***** ** *** *** **** ** **** ***** ****** ** *** **** *** *** **** ***** **** *** ***** **** *** ****** **** ******* *** * **** ***** **** ********* **** ******* ** ******* ** * ***** ***** * ******** * ****** * ***** ** **** ******* **** *** ******* ** ** ** *********Initial Complaint

I was called the night before our move and asked if I could change days. I said no and believe one of the 2 movers they sent did not know what he was doing. They didn’t arrive until 10, the time was supposed to be between 8-9. They were slow and inexperienced. At 5 o’clock they were winding down because they couldn’t find places to put my belongings. They were forcing things inside the back. They couldn’t fit everything. I called the owner. He said I must have added furniture and had his mover take pictures from back of truck. I did an inventory with his secretary and a video call with him so assess a quote. We live 2 1/2 hours between houses and offered no help. We had to leave everything and return the next day and rent the truck which was $324 plus fuel $88 and the fuel for our vehicle. We had to put salt down at the new home. They didn’t put anything on my hardwood floors. It was past 8 o’clock when we started to unload. We were exhausted and helped them unload. My husband is ** ***** *** and struggled. When they were finished the bill was $2260 when my quote was $1880. I was in shock and said that I was going to talk with the owner and the mover said he wouldn’t do anything about it, also said he avoids dealing with him because of all the bad dealings and he has to take the brunt from the customers. It was now after 10 and I then had to wash all my floors because of the salt. A lot of my belongings were in the garage because it was late and they were struggling. We had to leave early the next day to rent the truck and another full day of moving ourselves. ** ******* **** ******* ** ********** ***** *****. I repeatedly requested an answer from the owner about the costs incurred and the difference from the quote and he kept saying that he was too busy to deal with me. He offered $100 for the furniture damage and costs incurred. I then told him that that was unacceptable. He said he would get back to me and has not.
