      Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to submit a formal complaint against Reliable Parts regarding an unauthorized shipment connected to order #******* and their subsequent failure to provide satisfactory customer service.

I received a part from Reliable Parts that I had not authorized for purchase. Following instructions from their customer service, I returned the part via ****** ****. However, despite these actions, Reliable Parts reshipped the part to me without any prior authorization from my side. Upon further contact, I was incorrectly informed that a return authorization was required before returning the item, contradicting their initial instructions.

I have attempted to resolve this matter over several weeks, sending over ten emails and making numerous inquiries to Reliable Parts, requesting a return authorization and a shipping label. Unfortunately, my efforts have been met with unfulfilled promises and false claims of attempted communication on their part.

The ongoing mismanagement of my order by Reliable Parts has resulted in significant inconvenience and wasted time. Hence, I am demanding a full refund to my credit card within 48 hours from the receipt of this letter.

Please note that I wish for all further communication from Reliable Parts to be conducted via email to ensure that there is an accurate and complete record of all correspondence.

I am relying on the BBB's reputation for aiding consumers in resolving such disputes and look forward to your prompt attention to this matter.

      Business Response

This appears to be some sort of communication issue - Customer says they have made many attempts to contact us and our internal system shows many notes of attempting to call and email customer and not getting replies back. I see where customer has spoken to call centre agents more than once and they have relayed info to our returns department. Returns then comments about calling or emailing - so things appear to be getting nowhere.

There is a note showing a different phone number than was provided on the order he placed - and staff calling ************ Ext ***.

Item 1 - Where is the part now?

Item 2 - I have no issue at all processing a full refund - customer will need to provide me his credit card information.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Dear ****** and the Reliable Parts Team,

I appreciate your response to my complaint. However, I must express my disagreement with the portrayal of the situation as merely a "communication issue." My attempts to contact Reliable Parts were persistent and clear, yet they were met with a lack of adequate response until I filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau.

Regarding the phone number issue, the number you mentioned it is correct. However, I have not received any calls or voicemails from your team on this number. This discrepancy in communication further supports my experience of unresponsiveness from your side.

Lastly, I want to emphasize that my experience with Reliable Parts was not isolated. I have had to resort to filing a complaint with the BBB to elicit a proper response. I advise other customers facing similar challenges with Reliable Parts to consider using the BBB as a platform to voice their concerns and seek resolution.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

      Sincerely,

      ***** *****

I called the customer twice myself - and left two messages.

The customer did return my call and a FULL credit was issued the day after we spoke, which was also the day after we actually received the part back. The customer was also advised to consider cancelling the credit card used to place the order he says he did not place. Whoever did place the order had full card number, expiration and CCV code - and placed the order on our website. I suggested to him during our call that it was possible his card was compromised and used on our website. The delivery address used on the order was to a *** pickup store, and I sent the customer an image of that location to possibly further inform him of the potential for future misuse.

The issue is resolved ,the refund fully issued.
