    I hired the contractor in May 2023 to renovate my bathroom and kitchen. He gutted both, and promised to complete the jobs in 3 weeks. No work was done for more than 3 months! I've had to find somewhere else to live for almost 5 months ! while he worked on other jobs instead.I bought the fixtures/cabinets, him the rest.He pressured me for full cost of job $28,000 by Sept so "the renos would go smoothly".He contracted out work which I did not agree to. The work was not as designed, Substandard, nor to the required condo specs as provided.Removal of all work is required and redoing of it.I decided to cancel our agreement when he continued to miss our agreed scheduled deadlines, when further delays were threatened, and more and more money was requested. He also made no effort to provide any calculations of work done to date, nor receipts.I requested repayment of my money the first time, on Oct 12.He has not provided receipts nor calculations of work done to date on the jobs which I estimate is only one third complete because he didn't:-install bathroom fixtures.- The shower is not ready to tile -half of the Kitchen cabinets are assembled and installed.-cabinets are not level - no cabinet modifications were done - the half wall was made too wide changing the kitchen design-needs redoing -the floor was not levelled prior to tiling as requested, -the electrical is not connected -the plumbing is not finished and much more.I am being contacted by subcontractors for bills which he is responsible for and legal implications with those.He only responded to my emails when I threatened to take legal action this week, responding that he only owes me $5k (which is the cost of the countertops and shower glass alone!) and return my light fixtures I bought. (I can't find my kitchen tap either).I need to *************** so I can live in if and I need my money returned so I can pay a new contractor to do it.

    I had a contract with this company effective November 26, 2021. The contract was to renovate three bathrooms starting in April 2022. The owner would also assist with design and order and install all materials required for the renovation. I have paid this company $47,940.25 for these renovations based on completion dates that were never met. I have been trying for months to get this company to finish 2 bathrooms they tore apart; the 3rd one was never started. I have asked to meet with the owner on numerous occasions but he either ignores my request or cancels a scheduled meeting. The owner says he is willing to finish the jobs but needs help funding them. I am not interested in giving this company more money and severed my relationship with this company. I have asked for a statement of costs which I have not received yet. I have requested a refund for the work that was never completed or started but have not heard back from the owner.
