    I discovered a hole in my drywall. I called the business to patch the hole. I left the house for an hour while they took care of the hole and when I came back, they removed more of my drywall and told me I had mold. They left and never came back. I paid them to do a service they did not do, and I find it unacceptable and unprofessional.

    We were contacted by the client concerning a hole in his basement wall. After reviewing the pictures and details provided by the client we were able to determine the area was filled with mould. We presented the client with an estimate for mould remediation of a 32 SF area of his wall. Patchboyz did not provide this client with an estimate to build back the wall area. This is the opening email sent with the estimate."Feb5K - Email with QUOTE Hey ********,Thank you for giving me the opportunity to quote this. I've created a quote for remediation. Once the remediation is done and we know how much drywall was ultimately removed, the technician will send new pictures of the area for a repair estimate to be drafted and sent to you. THIS QUOTE DOES NOT YET INCLUDE THE REPAIRS. That is impossible to determine until the damage drywall removal is complete.Please let me know if you would like me to call you so we can walk through this together. I'm always here, always working. :)"Client sign and accepted the remediation, which took our team 5-1/2 hours to complete. During this time we discovered more mould throughout the basement and leading up to the main living area of the home. This was shown to the client, who refused further remediation services, said he would sell the house as is before doing this work.An estimate for repairs was provided to the client on February 20, 2025 which was refused. Client has come back to use several times, demanding the wall get repaired for free, and has not signed or accepted the estimate for repairs. We also explained this to the client in more than one conversation, as well as our availability and terms to do this work should he wish to accept the estimate.
