Our contract for (the wrong ) furnace originated with ******* Home Comfort. The door to door sales person told my brother, who is profoundly deaf, that our 8 year old furnace "sounded funny" October is a bad time to be told this so he signed a weird contract. I tried multiple times to terminate this contract but was always told the buyout would include the 10 years of interest with no other option. After loads of turnovers this contract now lands with Cricket or Vista Services. After many phone calls and finally a fax, i received a call from Cricket informing me they could check the furnace that malfunctions and allow us to buy the furnace for $500. This would make the contract finally go away. Stupid ( after paying 8K) but we agreed to go that route. No more communication although I phoned 5 times, left 3 messages and again finally faxed. Still nothing. Suddenly Monday, December 4th we receive a lawyer's letter threatening to put a lean on our property. We have now paid for 10 years and a month but somehow Cricket thinks we still owe. Plus I have often requested that they simply take this piece of junk out and go away. But never a reply to this request. I'm not certain this is an authentic letter from the lawyer's office and in it there is a notice NOT to call the lawyer's office.HELP!

************* Contract automatically renews after the end of the term and they keep charging you. So if you signed a 120 month contract, instead of the contract being over and you are done (like a car loan), they keep charging you. Unless you cancel the contract. And then they charge you $50 to cancel. Who remembers to cancel a contract 10 years later! Meanwhile you have already paid multiple times more than the initial product is worth. Oh, and the payments go up by 2.5% each year of the contract. Info is buried in the fine print. Shameful "business" practice. How are they able to do this? Since it's in the fine print, must be "legal". But it's criminal.

Ive been this company for my water tank rental since 2014 ( not my choice, the previous owner had this company) and I only had bad experiences with them.First of all, their vendors are morons and only interested in getting money from their customers. I dealt with 2 companies from them one citycomfort and the other one Brilia air, both of them are very terrible only interested in your money, they charge everything and every possible scenario to charge you. Always saying that its out of my warranty. Second of all, vista increases fees yearly quite significantly and their services get worse. Not worth the money you pay for. Third of all, its extremely hard to get a hold of them. Every time I call, even when they open @0900, nobody picks up the phone but only automatic voice messages saying that they will call you back but they never do. Avoid!!!! Just look for other companies! They are useless scumbag company.

Never ever buy from this company. They are the worst in business. All they want is your money once you are in contract you are cash cow for them. Have been with them for almost ten years now I want to end the contract they are asking me almost double the price of its same brand heater at double the price with installation. Which really *****. I am wondering how they are sleeping at night after scamming people, and what would be they teaching their kids. They are such a scum for society something needs to be done for this kind of company.

Nightmare for sure. Weve been paying for 8 months even though the rental period is over. We should be reimbursed.

Do not sign a contract with Vista. Full stop. I'd like the water heater that they're renting me out of my house. They said that I could return it to their office in ******. I live in *******. Give me a break. I'm not driving the water heater to ******. They were able to get a water heater to me, to also service the water heater, but they can't pick it up?! To end my contract I'd need to buy the water heater out at a ridiculous quote of $3,357. For a piece of equipment that retails for half of that cost new. And that's after renting from them for years. Once locked into a contract, you become a cash cow for Vista. Not a customer.

Vista Credit is taking your hard earned money! For 10 years we paid for a furnace and thermostat through Vista Credit. At the end of the 10 year amortization period (rent to own Agreement), they did not notify us that the items had been "paid for" and subsequently "automatically renewed" the rental agreement. The outstanding balance at that time to buy out the furnace and thermostat was only $49.95. The monthly cost of the furnace and equipment was $77.38. Hence, for an additional 5 months, we paid the rental fee of $77.38 Vista Credit at a cost of $386.90 instead of purchasing the item for $49.95. A net difference of $336.95. Read your rental agreement (6 font "fine" print). In the contract, they have the option to automatically renew the "monthly payment" in the absence of instructions from you to "buy out" the contract. This is done by Vista Credit despite the fact that they are fully aware you have "paid" for the items. Furthermore, the company provides "no monthly outstanding balance" nor does it provide you "notification" of when the final payment is due. It is up to you to know these details. Let me ask you, when you buy a car, does a dealership still charge you the monthly amount following full payment of the car? Vista Credit does and they don't even tell you.

Unfortunately 0 isnt an option. Paid for 10 years on a water softener they never told us our contact was coming to an end instead they keep charging us. Apparently it was up to us to call at the end of the contract. What a scam. We were never told this when we signed up. Called to complain and got a very arrogant and rude customer service rep that wanted to charge me another $50 cancellation fee. They already stole hundreds. Dont use this company.
