BUYER BEWARE. I hope this review can spare someone else from going through this nightmare.I purchased a Lennox heat pump system from Francis Home in November 2022, with promises of reduced heating costs - the salesman told me Only 1 propane tank is needed!". The first unit (2 ton) was malfunctioning, so they replaced it with a 5 ton (****sq ft bungalow). Both units were faulty and failed to perform as represented. Every time we had freezing rain/snow storm, the unit was unable to defrost itself and would use a great deal of propane attempting to do so. This was only one of many issues the Francis Homes servicemen (who truly excel at their jobs) spent days at a time in my home trying to resolve but were unable to do so. Dealing with this companys General Manager proved to be beyond frustrating. I requested to be partially compensated for the excess propane the faulty systems had used (as I was told I would be) and to have the system replaced with a reliable one - he replied: "...there were underlying issues which were unknown to us at the time of the original install. And he offered to replace the equipment with yet another Lennox system and refused to compensate me. I was penalized for this company's failure to conduct proper due diligence, ensuring it was providing equipment that had been tried and tested for ******** weather. These systems caused me a great deal of anxiety due to their continued malfunctioning. Why would I accept a 3rd one? I later found out that salesman failed to disclose the possibility of obtaining funding through the Canada Greener Homes program at a 0% interest rate, instead of through a financing company. I requested that they remove the system and issue a full refund (plus interest, if any). My emails were ignored for 3 weeks. The system was removed and although the company was responsible for canceling the loan since they had set it up, they refused to do so and simply issued me a cheque for the purchase price only.Francis Home Environment Heating & Air Conditioning

I had a new furnace installed yesterday by ***** and *****. I really cant say enough good things about these two. It was nice to see professionals at work which has not always been the case with other companies. We had not been able to find the water shut off valve for our backyard tap since we moved here at the beginning of 2009. They found it under the ceiling and made a point of showing it to me and explaining how it works. We also started to have water issues with the other furnace and that was also resolved and explained to me. I would highly recommend this company and I thank them for the peace of mind they gave me.Francis Home Environment Heating & Air Conditioning
