    ***FRAUDULANT CONTRACTOR*** ************ and the owner - *********************************(goes by ****) defrauded us for $35000. We hired him to do an addition to our home in Ottawa. He pressured me to give deposits that amounted to a total of $35000. No work or service has been provided by this contractor. NOTHING, the only time he visited the property was to collect the money. We had hired another company to do the permits for the attachment and the permits were declined and the project was completely cancelled. This contractor is now keeping the $35000. I have filed a police report and Ottawa Police have confirmed he has been involved in multiple other fraud related crimes and will be arrested once their investigation is completed. We are pursuing him via small claims court as well but he seems to have experience with avoiding the court, move money around from bank to bank, send funds abroad etc. We have found from the court that he's had multiple lawsuits in the past and has another lawsuit currently ongoing for similar fraud case. DO NOT GIVE THIS PERSON YOUR MONEY.

    My partner and I just bought our first house, and we wanted to make some minor changes including knocking down a wall between two bedrooms, put in a walk-in closet, and add a French door entrance. The job which started mid February was supposed to take 10 days, but following numerous delays, damage to our house and attempts to fix the damage, we are currently 10 weeks in and our house still needs to be corrected. The hardwood flooring was never protected and thus it was chipped, scratched and dented throughout the bedroom and hallway. When we asked the owner **** to have the flooring fixed, he either ghosted our messages or ignored our calls. Instead, he pointed us to a contractor, who is actually a sub contractor, rather than dealing with us after we paid him, not the contractor. He has continuously forced us to deal with the contractor instead of him, whom attempted to fix the floor but now its worse than ever. As seen in the photos, the floor looks and feels unfinished, does not match the existing flooring at all, has an uneven stain line, has damaged the newly installed quarter inch round, and so on. **** was quick to demand payment for the job, but now that were asking for the job to be properly fixed, he has avoided us and has been nothing but unprofessional. Weve been sleeping in the basement since we moved in and have no timeline for when the job will be completed. Now with family visiting since their trip was planned months in advance, we do not have a suitable home to offer them. I highly encourage others to properly assess the reviews for this company because I cannot fathom them being honest reviews by customers based on our horrible experience with this business.
