  We had two windows supposedly defogged by window medics and neither cleared up. Have been sending them messages and calling to no avail. Will not return calls to rectify the problem. They are a scam take your money pretend to solve the problem and disappear.

  greetings I had some water leak into my house from a storm last June 2023; the estimator came to give me a quote, and then said someone else would contact me to schedule the work to be done. After about 30 calls and texts back and forth and a full year of frustration, nothing was done by the company. The estimator points the finger at the person executing the work, and the person executing the work picks and chooses who to contact back . There is no escalation function to senior management, and no formal process as to scheduling or queuing your request for service. Worst business processes in a company I have ever encountered, and I have done a lot of renovation work done to my home over the past decade or so. And this was a simple task of adding caulking around a window, less than $500 or so. I even asked that someone contact me to just say they did not want the work, but was met with silence. Silence was the status quo for the better part of a year. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. They don't seem to value the customer experience in the slightest.

  This company is a total scam. Ordered a window pane 3 months ago. Delay of 6 to 8 weeks to get window replaced. Its been 12 weeks. After our first contact. Rep came over quickly to get deposit. He wreaked of alcool and measured the window like a guy who did not know what he was doing. No notes or work order papers. Total joke. Few month go by. Called him with no reply. Called them with another number, rep called back to give me all sorts of ******** answers. Told me that his install rep would call back which he never did. These guys address is a *** store in barrheaven and when i called ******* again with other number. Told him about this and his reply was we keep our wharehouse location secret. Hummm. Wonder why. Pls stay away from this business as they will drive you insane. Totally not reliable and not truthful about anything. Wondering why the authorities have not closed these guys yet.

  July 2022: I send them a deposit to replace a glass pane and defog a window. They told me it would be ready in 6 weeks.October 2022: It finally gets done after asking them for an update for a month. Window pane looks fine but defogging will completely ruin your window and looks horrible.March 2023: I complain about defogging. They offer to give me store credit on a new window pane project. They tell me it would be ready quickly. September 2023: I ask for update after never hearing back. Sorry there was a mistake in your order.December 2023: After asking them for an update repeatedly, they tell me its ready but then say there was another mistake and want to come take measurements again. I refuse and ask for my deposit back. During this whole process there was never any update coming from them. Never got an invoice for the first job. Theyll be really quick to get your deposit but after that theyll start ghosting you until you start harassing them for an update. Never had to deal with a such a poorly run business. They are now refusing to return my deposit even though it wasnt used to order anything.

  I contacted Window Medics Ottawa in Oct 2023 to replace a window pane in one of my rooms. They told me that a new window pane needs to be ordered and the job will be done within 6 weeks. I was asked to deposit half of the amount in advance.It has been around 2 months but there is no further communication from Window Medics about my order. I tried to reach out to them but there is no response to the calls and text messages.This company seems like a scam and do not complete the job after taking the initial deposit amount. There are several such reviews on ****** for this company. Another weird thing is the contact address provided by the company on their website - ************************************************************, ON K2J4P6. ****** maps clearly shows that there is no establishment named 'Window Medics' at this address. I would advise to avoid any services from 'Window Medics'.

  Unfortunately, I have a very similar experience. I required a new crank for a casement window, and contacted Window Medics. A tech came out indicated that the repair could be done for $250 and a 50% deposit was required. That was provided in July and after repeated calls, another tech came out in Sep but didn't have the correct part. Several more calls and web site submissions but no further word from WM. I have also asked for a return of my payment.

  This company is a scam. They took my downpayment and did not deliver. They don't respond to your calls or texts. Sent numerous emails and never received a response. They took my money quickly. Stay away from Window Medics.

  I also got scammed!! ??I paid them $240, (50% deposit). It was for a glass replacement for my cracked window. After I paid the guy, he blocked my cell number.
