      Complaint against The CST RESP firm - I am attempting to pull my childs RESP out and the website amounts do not match up. They refuse to send me the withdrawl forms or allow me to speak with anyone that can help remedy the sitituation 1 *** after another. they email and tell you one thing and then its not correct and they have zero documentation as to where the money has went or how much I will receive. There web site is incorrect and as per email they have known about it for a while. There self serve option doesnt work as well no customer support/ no documentation and its been over 2 weeks that I have asked for withdrawl forms - they are keeping my money from me and not allowing me to access it. **** ** ***** ******* *** ****** *******

      Not a acceptable response no answer to the following:

          Short $5000.00 as per ******* correspondence in writing
          No communication and answers to emails
          Need things and documents to look at and be explained in detail
          Need emails to be answered in a timely fashion – not 14 days plus and no answers to question
          Why do I pay a service fee when I don’t get any service or no one can tell me what is in my account.
          Website doesn’t match whats in the account – does not match ******* in writing amount
          What did the ********* with draw money out of my daughters account.

      Once these questions are ordered and the $5000 returned to my account

      *** ******* **** signing up with CST savings. Once I discovered the ******** business practices and that there was a class action lawsuit against them I of course wanted to close my account. I was given the run around and told that the 1200$ that I had put into the account would not be able to be withdrawn as all of that money had gone to sales fees ect. I then said I wanted to transfer it to my bank and was given the run around and told I would be called back in serval days time. **** ******* ********* ***** ** *****

      I have been trying to contact CST Consultants Inc for months in order to close my account and transfer payout. I have provided all necessary documents for the fund to be released and still no fund after a month and a half of trying to contact them. I have been put on hold for over 30 minutes 3 times in the last two week, and I sent sent 4 follow up emails and still no response. * **** **** ** ********* **** **** ******* ** **** ******* ***** ********* *** ** *** ***** ***** ** **** ** **** ********* **********

      My complaint is related to Canadian Scholarship Trust. I have paid into RESP since the past 11 years for my daughter and since covid changed our finances, we decided to stop paying monthly and transfer funds to our personal bank. This was supposed to take 2 weeks. This was 8 months ago. I have followed many times with them via phone and email to different persons. Every time someone different was trying to make me change my mind, and also the transfer would seem that I would lose a lot of money. The problem with this is it is never clear what amount as it has changed 3 times. From one email to another between 1500-2000$ difference. * ***** **** *** **** ********* *** ****** ** ** **** **** ** ********** *** *** **** ********** ******

      I got the same response from a representative 2 Months ago, and still waiting for my money transfer. Why should I believe them now for the same narrative. I will be content ONLY when I get my full money transfer in my account. It's been more than 8 months already.

      We are waiting for a few missing documents to finalize the transfer out. An email dated Jan 12 requesting these documents was sent to the financial institution. We did not receive yet receive them.

      I have repeatedly asked CST to explain why payments issued to me are not consistent with amounts shown on an actual CST statement dated Sept 2022. CST reps regularly/consistently send me in circles with half-answers & misinformation. Any normal statement would show a reconciliation of all amounts paid & received. For example, my bank statement would never list all of my deposits/withdrawals/fees & then show some arbitrary final balance without explaining exactly where every penny went!! Why should CST be any different?! The only thing CST has ever shown me is the amounts paid to date… I already know what I’ve received! I’m still waiting for someone to explain why my Plan statement shows a balance after deposits/earnings/fees as “($xxxxx)” but the amounts paid out totalled only ($xxxxx). There is also the matter of a separate smaller principal holdback amount which continues to decrease (without formal explanation). In my many years of dealing with CST, I have yet to receive clear response to any of my inquiries. Add in hours of sitting on hold & days of waiting for follow-up… *** ****** business would be able to sense the frustration & take steps necessary to clear things up. CST has fallen short in every way possible. I want clear a explanation of why the real amounts paid don’t balance with my statement - it should be simple math. Telling me “um, oh well, it’s an investment loss but here’s a sheet of amounts we did pay you” just won’t cut it. I want to see an updated statement accounting for every dollar paid in & all amounts paid out including an itemized list of EAPs, principal payments, fees/costs, investment losses & other withdrawals along with accurate balances amounts yet to be paid out. Telling me that thousands of dollars have simply vanished will not suffice. Stating that “the client doesn’t understand the concept of investment losses” will not suffice. Show me how the amounts owing & received have been completely reconciled & I will be satisfied.
