      ** **** *** I had a great experience with Acres Paving.
We had a quote given a well written contract and the crew came and did a great job on paving the driveway. They did the interlock brick around the edges and we could not be more happy with the excellent work and customer service provided.

I hired this company to redo my driveway asphalt in the front, which was in terrible condition. I realized that I was getting a budget job, and for that reason, I didn't expect them to dig very deep before laying gravel. They didn't dig at all. They sprinkled a very light layer of gravel on top of soil after removing the old asphalt, and paved on top of that. Within 2 weeks I had weeds (bindweed) growing through the still soft asphalt. The area in the back I had planned to do with pavers, and fence in. I mentioned to both the fence builders and acres paving what my plans were, and both companies told me it didn't matter what order these things happened in. The gate was put in first. Unfortunately, the asphalt was one or two inches above the previous elevation, and that prevented the gate from opening.
Acres promised to fix this by grinding down the asphalt, and while they strung me along for a couple of weeks, they soon stopped replying to my calls/emails altogether. I was also promised that the asphalt step next to the door (which they removed) would be replaced with a concrete pre-fab step. They assured me they would get back to me about the price. I contacted them half a dozen times afterwards asking about the price, and when it would be installed, and I was always given the run-around. For a time they assured me it was coming, but it never materialized. I still have no step in front of the door, which leaves that door unusable. I was not expecting much from this company, but they still managed to disappoint me.

      ***** ****** ** * ******** ******* ** ***** * *** ** ** **** ******* ****** *** **** ***** *** ******* ** **** **** **** ******** They do some good work but they also do some bad work. I believe what differs a good company from a bad company is how they fix their mistakes when they happen.
Well LET ME TELL YOU, Acres Paving has been giving me the runaround for over a year. They did my driveway summer of 2022. Once they get your money they're gone. I guess their "warranty" and "guarantee" written in the contract means nothing? More like "catch me if you can". They say they will come by yet never do .. time after time again. So for your sake if you hire acres paving I hope they do a good job the first time or you'll be in my shoes. Wasting countless hours and energy just trying to get what was paid for in good faith. Low spots everywhere and weeds coming through the pavement within months of the job completion. Even with the largest low spot up against the foundation of my house, being a concern for water damage to the foundation/flood risk, which btw they are aware of, they still don't show any plan or intent to repair. * **** **** ** *** **** ** ** ****** ****** ** **** ******* ** ** ******* ** **** ******** *** ***** *** **** * ****** ** *** *** ******** **** **** *** ******* ** *** ***** **** **** **** **** *** ********* *** **** ****** ****** *** ** **** *** *** *******
      STILL NOT FIXED.
So do I wait until someone slips and injures themselves on the frozen water puddles? Then sue them? Lord knows I have the paper and email trail to back up my claims.

I should have read these before hiring this company. There seems to be a pattern. A quick recap of my experience is they squeezed me in at the end of the season (Nov.). After completion there were two concerns I had with the job. One of the concerns I spoke to with the onsite manager who said he would come back and help move a stone when I was ready to fix that issue. The second concern was directed towards Nate who said based on the time of year he would touch base in the spring to talk about the concerns. I have now been emailing for 9 weeks and nobody from the company has come back to address the issues and have essentially been ghosted by them. I now have to hire another company to come and fix the mistakes that were made. I guess the only take away from this experience is if you want a job done you can hire them. If you want a job done well take your chances with any of the other dozens of companies out there.
