I purchased a mini jeep on 8/28/2022. It took over 2 weeks to receive the jeep. We assembled and immediately noticed some issues. Missing head light switch. Turn signal switch did not operate turn signals instead it created a beep noise. Looking at owners manual where able to determine that where a relay is supposed to be was just a back up beeper. We then took for test drive for break in returned and changed oil per owners manual. Then parked. The very next day the jeep would not start. Found no spark. I consulted venom about the missing switch relay and non running issue. They sent me a YouTube video of some guy diagnosing spark on a car and was told to use it to diagnose my jeep. I told them again we have no spark. They took 2 weeks to say ok sending parts but I had to pay shipping. When I complained that it’s a brand new jeep just received they agreed to waive shipping. Fast forward another week and I received a coil pack and cdi which were not even correct the wiring harness did not match up. And received nothing for switch and turn signals. I again reached out and was told by venom they will talk to parts and see about the incorrect part but now that it’s been 30days since I received the jeep I will have to pay shipping. Again for a jeep that’s brand new and only worked for a test drive. I’ve had this Jeep for over 2 months now that has not been operational since day 2. I have not heard from venom in over a week since asking about the missing parts. I asked them to either exchange the new or return it for a full refund with no answer from venom. At this point I want them to set up return shipment of this jeep and either send me a replacement or issue a full refund.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: you state your sorry I’m not happy with my purchase. The issue is you did not provide a working product. I expected to receive a fully functional jeep as described on the website. It is missing pieces and does not run. Now you want me to pay to ship a defective vehicle back to you in order to receive a refund? Yes I want either a refund or an exchange. But why do I have to foot the bill to ship your defective vehicle back to you? You need to arrange shipment back to your facility at your cost.

Hello,
Taking a look at your order page you declined to have your unit assembled and tested by our mechanics prior to shipping. You choose to have your unit shipped in the crate and you agreed that you would have a professional assemble it for you. See attached order confirmation. Changing parts and putting the unit together are part of the assembly as well as the Pre-Delivery-Inspection (PDI) that you agreed you would do.
Our tech support team has watched your videos and the required parts were shipped to you on November 3, 2022 and delivered to you on November 7, 2022 with *** Tracking# ******************
Our terms and conditions that were accepted upon checkout can be found here: https://www.venommotorsportsusa.com/pages/warranty .

I am rejecting this response because: you are correct I agreed to do the pdi. Which included minor assembly of tires suspension and accessories. This bike has an electrical issue that is something preassembled from factory. I notified you immediately upon arrival that the bike was defective. Yes you sent parts but at first you sent incorrect parts. The parts you have sent have not fixed the bike. It has a wiring issues somewhere in the wiring harness. Your team has consistently tried to make me pay for shipping of these parts. Which they did finally waive because I complained. But the bike has been inoperational for 3 months of the 12 month warranty and you keep sending incorrect parts taking weeks a time to receive the parts wasting a good amount of time from the said warranty you referenced.

After taking a look at this file it seems the best course of action is to have the customer return their purchase for a full refund.
Our terms and conditions state that each order comes with a 1 year replacement parts warranty and we have provided this customer with each part requested for his unit at no cost to them and our technicians have also provided over 3hrs of Facetime Video Chat support where they are going over the unit together with the customer and effecting repairs together.
We have also later provided credits back to their Visa to have someone locally help install the parts for their unit but it seems no matter what we do they will not be happy. This customer is having buyer's remorse.
Although our terms and conditions state All Sales Final, we will make an exception for the customer to return their purchase for a full refund as we think this is the best way to move forward.

I am rejecting this response because: it’s not true.wow where do I begin. 3 hours of FaceTime calls that’s a joke. There has been a ton of emails in which you sent me links to YouTube videos that don’t help at all. And I sent videos of my issue your techs requested. I have not made any request for parts as I have no real idea what’s wrong with the jeep other then electrical issue. Your techs keep sending me random parts that are not fixing the problem. Your tech did say he was going to send me a $50 credit to help with a shop to do the diagnostic work. No shop works that low but I decided to work with it. At this current time I still have not received that $50 credit. But I am in the process of trying to find a shop willing to check it out. Buyers remorse? Not quite. I would be very happy if you delivered a working product not a defective one. Nothing will make me happy? Yes having a functioning jeep that I bought would make me very happy. Yes your website states 12 month warranty. Which is one reason I purchased from your company. I failed to realize I’d burn up most of that warranty just trying to get the thing operational. Your tech did say you would extend my warranty for 2 extra months for this so I’m hoping that still stands. This reply just seems very unprofessional filled with lies. Nonetheless at this current time I’m in process of finding a local shop to properly diagnose the issue so I can get back with your tech to get the correct part to get this bike running. I am still waiting for the credit that I still have not received.

Date purchased. August 23
Bought a motorcycle from them. Their website says free delivery to your door step. Call 1-2 days before to set up a day. Call the day of for a 4 hour window of delivery and then a signature required.
Non of these happened. It was delivered to the wrong address (a neighbor) I didn’t sign for it. I was sent a out of focus picture to “confirm delivery “. Packages came damaged. I immediately called their office and asked for an exchange. They offered replacement parts. I was afraid the bike was not only cosmetically damaged but also mechanical as well. It is for both. I then asked for a refund. I was told they don’t offer both refund or exchange. They said they don’t cover shipping damage. My dispute isn’t for the damaged but the breach of contract by not living up to their advertising for shipping right to your door and signature required. The bike is inoperable.
I’d like my money back. At first I was willing to still give them the business by exchanging for another but now seeing how poorly it’s made and their poor customer service I just don’t want the bike. I feel they breached their term of conditions before the bike even showed up from the lack of calls and updates and then the signature. I wouldn’t have signed for a damaged bike.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:the dispute is still currently open. It hasn’t been officially settled. As alway and in previous conversations I can drop the dispute anytime if we come to a written agreement. Before you only offered me the parts and $50 coupon toward your website. You breached your own terms and conditions. Your website says” delivered to your doorstep, call 1-2 days before delivery, call the day of for a 4 hour window and then signing for the bike. None of those things happened. Your company broke the term and conditions before the bike even got delivered to the wrong address. Then it was damaged. I was asked why I accepted a bike seeing damage. I didn’t have a choice. It was dropped off in the wrong driveway only to be sent a blurry out of focus picture from a number I didn’t recognize. It was forced up on me. As the dispute is still open and not officially done. I could still be paying for a broken damaged bike. As I said. I can cancel the still open dispute if we come to some written agreement. Your office offers were a poor attempt at “customer service.” At someone who is not mechanically inclined you offered to send me the parts that were damaged and to not give me any compensation for my time to put the parts on. If the bike was delivered the appropriate way with phone calls and a signature there never would have been an issue. Even with all my money back I will not be made hole in this process because I have spent so much time and effort trying to talk to you and dispute this issue. Then you were asking me to go even further to occupy more of my time to put parts together with zero compensation for that. Once again that was a slap in the face. At this point I’d rather have my money back and I’ll put it towards a better bike from a better company. I offered for you to take this damage bike back and I was still going to do business by buying another one from you that wasn’t damaged Once again that was a slap in the face. At this point I’d rather have my money back and I’ll put it towards a better bike from a better company. I originally offered for you to take this damaged bike back and I was still going to do business by buying another one from you that wasn’t damaged and was shipped correctly. But I was informed that you don’t do refunds or returns or exchanges. That’s when I started the dispute because I never wanna sign for a bike if I had the ability to sign for it when I clearly saw the box was damaged when I actually managed to find where it was. I know that you have insurance and the delivery company has insurance it would’ve cost you nothing to tell the delivery company to take this one back and bring me the bike I paid for. But instead you chose to try to stick me with this and I am now looking for resolution as soon as I can

I am rejecting this response because: I’m not going to lose money on shipping a defective and misrepresented product. Why would I to to ship it back to you. Your company broke your terms and condition before I ever even received the item. I shouldn’t be out of pocket a dime. Even though I already am. Between the phone calls, the time invested with trying to repair the bike mechanically, the season of ride time I didn’t get. So all in all if you want your item back you can gladly have it shipped back at your cost. I imagine it was a shipping company that damaged it anyway which isn’t my responsibility at all. Your website says that you insure your bikes so I imagine the insurance should cover the damage that the company cost. Have them pick it up when you want it back at my convenience. If not I’m going to make the same offer that you made to someone else on the ****** ******** ****** website. I’ll offer $2000 to keep the bike. I saw that you were charging a restocking fee mileage fee and a shipping fee on one of the earlier responses to somebody. So I’ll give you $2000 I’ll tell my credit card company to allow that amount to go through on the dispute. But on top of that I want The parts that are physically damaged from the shipping and the parts that I need to replace mechanically one of which is either the starter or a solenoid. Maybe a carburetor. The bike is not running the way it should be. You guys won’t let me talk to the technical department because I’m technically not a customer while I’m disputing. Bu But if you don’t take this offer then I’ll gladly wait to see how the dispute ends and then when I’m offered a full refund from my credit card company I imagine that you’d want your product back anyway and you’ll be paying the shipping cost to get it back. If you’d like to end it now you can let my credit card company know that you’re no longer gonna dispute it on your end and you can tell me when and where you’d like to pick this bike up once again at my convenience at the location and time and date convenient to me.

Date of the transaction: August 17, 2022.The amount of money you paid the business: $3675.11.What the business committed to provide you: 2023 Venom x22GT 250CC Motorcycle with assembly package. Assembly package includes bike arrives fully assembled (less mirrors), pre-delivery inspection, tested, and arrive ready-to-ride without fuel. What the nature of the dispute is: After arrival of the motorcycle, it does not run properly or safely. The speedometer reads incorrectly at ***** mph above actual ground speed. The motor will turn off randomly while riding the motorcycle approximately every 5 to 10 minutes. After motor randomly shuts off, the bike becomes more difficult to restart each time.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem: I have reached out to Venom Motorsports several times and have not received any adequate resolve. The company's support staff has sent me instructional ******* videos assuming I am going to fix the motorcycle myself. I was also instructed to take it to a local mechanic, at my expense, to have my motorcycle viewed and repaired. Unfortunately, there is not a bike/scooter/motorcycle shop within 15 miles of my residence willing to accept my motorcycle for repair. Venom Motorsports has done nothing to address this issue. I also asked for replacement two replacement parts, which are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, to help fix the issue. The parts included a speed transducer and a carburetor. Venom Motorsports did not honor their warranty and refused to send me replacement parts.Account/order/tracking number: order number *****.Business Response

I purchased a motorcycle from Venom Motorsports 4 weeks ago. There is a little assembly required. The first problem was a broken tab on the battery cover and a broken battery strap. The first time I turned the key the check engine light came on. Called the company and they wanted pictures (which I sent) and asked if there was damage to the crate (there was not). Waited a few days before calling again to see what we needed to do next. They wanted more pictures (which were sent). They weren't sure why the check engine light would be on so they sent a code reader to me (which they charged me $36 for). The code reader won't work. Tried to call to talk to a technician. The customer service *** was rude and said there are no returns. You bought it so too bad. My husband got involved in trying to resolve the problems we are having. It took 3 calls to actually talk to the tech. He promised to send a video of a possible solution. We waited a few more days and called back to see if the video was coming. The tech said he would get it sent. It showed how to reset the bike. Upon doing that the code reader worked and gave us the error code. Something is wrong with the fuel relay. Another call to the rude customer service ***. The tech sent a text with 3 possible solutions. We are not mechanics. Keep in mind this motorcycle has zero miles on it. 4 weeks of working with them over the phone and by texts and no resolution. They do not send out techs and it's all on us to fix this brand new motorcycle.Business Response

As an online store, we rely on photos and videos to assess issues remotely. To diagnose the check engine light on your EFI motorcycle, an OBD reader is needed as its essential for accurate troubleshooting. This allowed us to determine the issue was related to the fuel pump. Our technical team provided guidance, including videos and step-by-step instructions, to ensure you had the resources needed for resolution.

I purchase a 250cc automatic motorcycle. On arrival, they had one person that delivered the motorcycle that was having problems unloading. The motorcycle had a small antifreeze leaking problem when I first bought it, but I didn't notice it until I started painting the motorcycle. After a while, the leaking problem got worst. Vemon wannabe mechanics had no clue on how to stop the leak and had me repeating myself on something that wasn't working. I fix the problem with water tape for now. The exhaust fails apart between 1800-2000km. Both exhaust gaskets burn up quickly on the exhaust and the battery strap melts too. I'm on my third battery strap. The shocks are defective and don't hold air. I have shown them countless videos and pictures about this problem and they can't correct it. They told me rudely to come out of my own pockets to buy some aftermarket parts on amazon because they can't man up to admit that these motorcycles are cheaply made and not worth the price that they are charging customers for them. Yes, the motorcycle would stall on me from time to time, which is HIGHLY DANGEROUS! Vemon lies about their own warranties. They'll tell you that the parts are not covered under warranties then a few minutes later they tell you it is if you tell them that you are going to report them. They charge you for shipping parts that are under your warranty. These motorcycles are not worth $3099 because of the problem they come with and are not very safe. The *** and the FTC need to do something about this before someone gets hurt or killed on these Chinese motorcycles. I've been patient with this company and did everything they ask me and none of it works! I can't return the motorcycle due to a custom paint job and decals that cost me money and time. They lie a lot in their emails.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: the motorcycle has a custom paint and things I have done to get it working correctly because vemon would not help me or send out the rights parts so I had to come out my own pockets because they won't stand by their own warranty. Is venom going to pay for the packing, shipping, custom paint job/decals/spark plug/ new fluids and plus my after market parts ( because vemon would not stand by their own warranty) plus my time and labor?? I've been contacting a attorney about the "defamation of character". Vemon shouldn't lie to the *** about me threatening their technical support team. I never did anything like that and I have proof as well. If you can not do none of that above, then refund me all of my money back for "defamation of character" and plus not standing by your warranty selling a motorcycle with defective parts?!

I bought a Venom SuperSport 250cc EFI bike on April 1st. The bike arrived, the delivery truck dropped the bike off 4 houses down. Had to drag the 400lb box by myself. Got the bike unboxed, put gas in, made sure everything’s good to go, started the bike up. Bikes running for about 30 seconds and just shuts off. I turn it on again and it stays on. I take it for a spin. I break in the bike for 500 miles. Replace the oil. The bike would began stalling/sputtering. It wouldn’t idle under 3k. The dash looked like a Christmas tree. Bike would start up and immediately die. I stayed in contact with venom motor sports throughout the entire ordeal. 3 months later (maybe I’ve driven the bike a total of 3-4 weeks) and the bike is just gathering dust. After changing the spark plug, checking all lines and intake and making sure everything’s properly connected, changing the ecu , buying an obd reader with my own money, etc the technicians finally now think my fuel pump is bad. Uhh it’s been 3 weeks, venom can’t tell me when special order fuel pump will be shipped. Now for everyone’s info I’m a 19 year old who’s working a full time job, in college full time, living on my own providing for myself. I previously owned the venom x22-r and had 0 issues with that bike which is why I came back to venom. I believed based off previous experiences that it would be a good move. All I’ve had is a waste of $3800 and even more loss on registration and insurance because the bike is just parked immobile. I got the bike to save money on insurance (de insure my car), gas, etc. I didn’t expect to be even in more financial trouble. It’s been 3 months and I’ve had issues since the first day of shipment with absolutely no motivation to help. One more thing, they falsely advertise. I got pulled over when I thought I was going 92mph for the cop to tell me he had me on radar going 63mph, or when bike told me I was traveling 70-75 yet I was being clocked at 40-45mph. They explicitly advertise “Top Speed 90MPH”Business Response

Hello,
***** purchased his motorcycle on April 1 and took delivery on April 5. He has owned his bike for several months and the on July 25 he contacts us with an issue he is experiencing. Our mechanics deemed his fuel pump is not working correctly on his Motorcycle and covered the part he needed under warranty and at no cost to him. This part was processed on July 26 but after shipping ***** asked us to ship the part to a new address. Although this was not recommend as it can cause delays in his shipment, he forced us to change the address which we did. Now he claims he did not get the part and refuses to work with us?
See attached email threads with the customer. If he no longer is interested in keeping the motorcycle he can ship it back to our facility for a refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to ********* ** ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me; however, there was no need by the company to inclide one measley screenshot of after I had blown a fuse and complained. Below I’ve included previous conversations to truly show what really happened. Nobody forced anybody to change the address I asked if it was possible to do so and it obviously was as it wasn’t shipped out until 2 DAYS LATER.. Venom says I can ship the bike back for a refund, gladly will do so, I told them that exact same thing a month into owning the bike with all the problems. As soon as they tell me if they’re refunding me the full price of the bike and where I have to send it and what not. I’m assuming I’ll have to cover rerun shipping and what not and that’s fine. They have my email address as I will not be conducting business over the phone with such a shady business. I appreciate *** for finally being able to help resolve this issue.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:I filed a complaint against Venom Motorsports on July 31, 2022. The complaint ID signed to the case was ********. Venom responded saying I could return the bike and receive a refund. I accepted their resolve hoping things would move forward smoothly. I would like to reopen the complaint, I’ve emailed 3-4 times since then to confirm and ask for their electronic permission to view the images they sent me on how to ship the bike back. They won’t confirm that they’ve received the pictures. It’s getting absolutely ridiculous and frustrating at this point; therefore, if the *** can help me get some fairness out of this company I would appreciate it very much. I’m 19 living on my own dealing with all the bills on top of schooling. I had owned a bike through them before with no issues. I decided to go with them again because it would save me a ton of money specially with the gas prices and everything today. I know that’s no one’s problem but my own, but I’ve been excuse my language but I’m getting absolutely SCREWED by venom and they seem to only listen to you.
Sincerely,

I would like to close the complaint and mark it as taken care of please. I took the bike to a private shop myself and figured out the issue. I am now attempting to get a replacement part through VenomMotorsports. I appreciate all the help!
