I purchased one of their bikes and received it august 30th and I contacted them September 1-2 ..I told the employee who’s name is ***** that my bike didn’t work and can they exchange it and he told me before they do any returns they have technicians that can help get my bike on the road..so they said to send an email detailing what’s wrong with my bike and that’s exactly what I did..a technician by the name of **** was helping me out but we kept going back to square 1..when I first purchased the bike they had a 14 day return policy (which I have proof of that) and months later they changed their return policy...these guy ran the 14 day course so I wouldn’t be able to get my return..they even kept telling me to do the same things over and over and I felt that was a tactic to run my 14 days ..a month later I asked for another return and **** bypassed it ..I spoke to a female employee today and she lied and said the old return policy was for recalls when it doesnt state that at all! ..she then said the policy was only for 14 days which then I told her I called the next day and emailed like they told me to..they are scam artist and most likely sold me a refurbished bike..my bike didn’t idle out the box and it’s suppose to be brand new. There should be no reason why I had to buy new parts or get delivered new parts for a brand new bike..I want my full refund and they need to pay the shipping cost because it’s not fair that I have to spend my hard earned money almost 4K for a bike that never worked..1st pic is the return policy that was there when I purchased the bike..2nd picture is when these scammers changed there policy around Christmas time

      Hello,

We want to express our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. Upon reviewing your order, we have noticed that your Motorcycle was delivered in an unassembled crate, as per YOUR request. It was noted that you had declined the option to have your unit shipped fully assembled and tested, which can be seen on the attached order confirmation page. See attached

It is important to note that the assembly of the unit, as well as tweaks and adjustments, are part of the Pre-Delivery-Inspection (PDI) required for any new vehicle before operation. You declined to have our team preform this for you. We highly recommend having a certified mechanic complete this process for safety reasons.

Despite our policy of "All Sales Final," we would like to make an exception for you and allow you to return your Motorcycle for a full refund. Kindly return the Motorcycle to the address below, making sure to display the RMA# 25503RN on the outer carton to ensure that your refund is processed promptly and without delay.

I am rejecting this response because: the bike was already mechanically assembled..only thing I was responsible for was putting the handle bars and mirrors together..on my bill of sale it states

CONDITIONS AND WARRANTY: THE SELLER HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF ANY HIDDEN DEFECTS IN AND TO THE VEHICLE AND BELIEVES TO THE BEST OF THE SELLERS KNOWLEDGE THAT THE VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD IN CONDITION NEW. MEANING THAT THERE IS 1 YEAR WARRANTY FOR ANY DEFECTS..

By law if a bike has any defects upon arriving I am entitled to an exchange, Return or Refund. you guys sold me a Defective bike and I WILL not pay for shipping or restock fees for your mistake. I asked kindly for an exchange and been denied when that is unlawful due to the bike being sold defective. My bill of sale is my contract and you guys are located in California and should know California laws when selling a defective vehicle..all sells are final is not valid if the vehicle is defective. I have been patient for months and went to a shop you recommended to fix my bike and was told they couldn’t diagnose the bike and that it was a piece of sh*t. I came out of pocket to many times to fix a bike that should’ve been running since it’s brand new. I want full refund as stated but you guys will cover shipping cost and restock fee

      Sincerely,

      ***** *****

im accepting the refund but not accepting the shipping charge..again through California state law if a bike was sent defective it is your responsibility!! ..I been trying to give this bike back to you guys for months!! And the only reason why you guys are accepting the return is because I contacted ***..you guys been giving me the run around for 6-7 months and think the bike is going to come back in perfect condition..I live in the south it’s been through storms, snow, sun etc and has been sitting out there for months because you guys wouldn’t accept my return until now ..I’ve also stated in my first email the bike would shut off and won’t idle from the very beginning and when I finally got it to run for a little bit the bike shut off while on it!! The bike been defective since the beginning and you guys prolonged the process..my next step would be small claims in Orange County if i cant get a prepaid shipping label ..***** is horrible and first he was saying I couldn’t get a return and **** was always dodging me when I asked for one and now all of a sudden I can get a refund..you guys are bad for business and I’ll definitely will take pictures and videos before I ship the bike back out to you and I want a FULL REFUND because you guys prolonged this process for months!!

Venom Motorsports shipped an electric ATV to me at a cost of $1,200. Machine does not work. It has never worked and they are failing to provide a warranty or return. They say "all sales are final" and will not ship me a new product. I've tried troubleshooting with their tech team, but now they are not responding to me. Additionally I ordered a Venom ATV and they shipped a different product to me called "Mototec". Classic bait and switch. What I paid for and ordered is different than they shipped AND product does not work. Buyer beware and steer clear of this shady company!!!

I am rejecting this response because:  My credit card was not stolen, as the business reported.  My credit card company charged back Venom motorsports the full amount of my charge, because Venom shipped and sold me a product that I didn't buy.  And the product I was shipped does not work. This is why the charge was fraudulent.  The product (ATV) is at my house and can be picked up at anytime by Venom Motorsports.

As a consumer, I'm fine closing the *** case, as my money was correctly returned to me by my credit card company.  However, future customers of Venom should know they don't operate a trust worthy business.

      Complaint for: Venom Motorsports
      1. Date of Transaction: December 2, 2022
      2. Amount paid: $2090.48
      3. Electric Grizzly ATV - Venom E-Grizzly Electric ATV | 1500W Brushless | 48V × 1 plus MOTOCROSS FL FC DOT HLMT [MEDIUM 57-58CM] × 1 plus Full Assembly + PDI + Tested × 1 BLACKFRIDAY-STARTERPACK (-$99.99) $99.99
      4. An extra $100 was paid for fully assembly + PDI + Testing. The item was delivered defective. It has never worked since the day it was shipped. This electric ATV was my sons Christmas gift. I have sent over 20 emails to this company, they fail to acknowledge any wrong doing. They sold me a defective product that doesn't work. I have sent emails, videos and have begged them to resolve the issue. They keep sending me random parts to replace but none have worked to date. I have a brand new ATV that doesn't work and these guys will do nothing about it. My entire argument is simple. I paid for a brand new ATV so it should have arrived in working condition. My second argument is that I paid an extra $100 for fully assembled and tested product so why is it that I keep having to change multiple parts, only to continue to experience the same issue. As of this writing the issue persists.

I purchased a maddog icebear gen 1 scooter and have had it for a little over a month. Around week 3 I've had nothing but issues, I thought it was a sparkplug, but wasn't. Thought it was a carburator, it wasn't. Thought it was a battery, it wasn't. I just want my money back. They're taking forever to help and are not honoring their end of the warranty for a product they knew was faulty

      Order date: 11/8/2022
      Order number: *****
      Money paid: $2,988.99

**** **** received 11/21/2022. Total operation time was less than 10 hours over 6 days. On the 11/24/2023 an oil leak was discovered. Venom Motorsports notified of the issue 11/25/2022. Multiple photos and video of the machine sent to assist in diagnosing the issue.

December 8, 2022, I discovered a manufacturing error that caused an engine defect allowing oil and exhaust gases to escape from the crankcase (EPA violation). Venom Motorsports said that I was responsible for removing the engine and having it repaired. I said was unacceptable as I had already contributed excessive time and effort to fixing an error by Venom Motorsports and ******** (manufacturer). I said that I wanted to return the unit, but they refused.

A replacement engine was then sent, but I was told I must return the defective engine. The engine arrived 12/19/2022 but has remained in the unopened box. I was also told that videos would be provided to help with the needed repairs, but I have had no response for over 3 weeks. It is unreasonable to expect me to provide free tools, knowledge, and labor to fix the error of Venom Motorsports.

This machine has been inoperable for over a month. I am out a large sum of money. It is occupying valuable space in my shop. I was sold a defective product and the company that sold it has ceased communicating with me. At this point either a new, fully assembled, mechanic inspected machine should be provided and the defective one can be returned, or a return and full refund should be provided.

We sincerely apologize to the consumer for the inconvenience he has experienced with the **** ****. We have reviewed all of the available information, including warranty claims and we have concluded our team has operated as per our terms and conditions. Our terms and conditions state that each vehicle comes included with a 1 year replacement parts warranty and our team has done such. We have provided this customer with a new replacement engine for their **** **** shipped directly to their home at no cost. The customer was in agreement with this as well. Our team has also as a courtesy offered the customer with a partial refund back to their credit card to help with the installation of the parts under warranty but he found this insulting. We have also offered videos and phone support to help with the install with one of our virtual technicians but he refused.

      Terms and Conditions: **************************************************

We will make an exception for the customer to return their purchase for a full refund. Complaint: 18681690

I am rejecting this response because:

Multiple statements from Venom Motorsports in this response are erroneous.

      1. Venom Motorsports DID NOT abide by their own terms and conditions because section 8 states “VENOM Motorsports Inc. will pre-inspect all orders before shipment for any apparent defects.” This was clearly not done as the defective manufacturing/assembly would have been detected had the unit been inspected.

      2. I responded to their email 1/10/2023. This response to the *** complaint was posted 1/8/2023. There is no possible way for Venom Motorsports to make claims that I refused the listed offers as I had not yet responded.

      3. No partial refund was offered. A $75 credit toward mechanic costs was offered.

      4. Videos were offered on 12/12/2022 in accordance with their policy section 17 where it states “Venom Motorsports will assist with repairs via telephone providing step by step instructions or detailed videos on how to properly repair your products.” I did not refuse this. It was never provided. I repeatedly contacted Venom Motorsports without response over the following weeks without response until I filed the *** complaint.

My request to have the unit returned was not an offer to ship it back to you. If you want to resolve this, Venom Motorsports must provide the freight for its return. I will not be further disadvantaged to fix your mistake. As I wrote in my email today,

      1. Ship this thing back to yourself and give me 100% refund. (Preferred)

      2. Ship me a new, fully assembled and inspected unit and then ship the other one back to yourself.

      Sincerely,

I bought one of their electric dirt bikes for $999 as a Christmas present for our son. A friend of his had just received one and my son liked it. However, after about two weeks, his friend's bike stopped working properly. When my son opened it on Christmas, he told us he did not want the bike because it was not reliable. After looking at reviews online, I concurred that I did not want to deal with the headaches of a poorly made product as well.
I tried calling customer support on Tuesday, December 27th and was unable to get through. I was finally able to get through yesterday, December 28th, and was told that all sales are final. The call taker asked me to hold and then came back on and acted like she could not hear me. She said "all sales are final and if I have any questions, to call back." So, I called back and waited twenty minutes for someone to pick up the phone.
Again, I was told, all sales are final. I read the return policy to her that I found on their website under "FAQs." She claimed that was not their website when in fact it was venommotorsportsusa.com and had the very phone number that I called to speak with this person. She then told me I could sell it on craigslist.
The bike is still in the original, unopened packaging. I told her I would take it to the Anaheim warehouse myself. She said they do not do refunds, even though there is a refund policy clearly stated on their website under FAQs.
I have never experienced customer service like this in my life. This is a very deceitful and dishonest company.
I have attached a screenshot of their refund policy found on their website.

Ordered a 2022 venom x18r. Ran for 80 miles and stopped running. Contacted customer support and sent videos to show them that it would not run. Still waiting for some sort of help with the problem. There is no reason something bought brand new should not work after 80 miles. The engine will not start even though there is gas in the bike and there is spark. Fuel lines are all clear with no clogs, kinks, etc. It just will not start or run.

      Hello,

This customer received their motorcycle June 2022 and the first time he had contacted us was in January 2023 claiming his unit is no longer starting. Our mechanics reviewed the customer video and confirmed the motorcycle required a replacement fuel pump as the original one no longer was working properly. Our team issued a replacement fuel pump under warranty and at no cost to the customer. Please see attached supporting documents

I purchased a kids e-bully electric atv for $1200. I assembled and performed an inspection and the atv failed to operate intermittently. I notified the company and sent a video and did the suggested trouble shooting. The mechanic stated that the issue is either a failure of a breaking safety feature or the main electrical component (controller). These parts are installed by the factory. This is not a minor repair and the product is defective from the factory. The controller is not a part that is designed to be replaced in a new product. I am asking for a refund for a defective product due to major mechanical flaw and safety flaws. It’s a kids bike and I am not comfortable with my kid riding around on a product shipped with major safety issues. The customer service rep told me to check the break lights (the product has no break lights) so their knowledge is highly questionable. I will happily return the product once venom sends me shipping information at their expense.

I am rejecting this response because:
Under Ohio consumer protection laws it is illegal to deliver a good not fit for the services intended.your terms state it is my responsibility to perform an inspection after delivery. I notified you that the quad was not working and defective. It’s not a missing bolt , it’s the main electrical component of the bike that was factory installed. Ohio revised code and consumer protection laws supersede any terms when the product is defective. Who is going to install the controller? I did an inspection, it failed, send me how you want it shipped back and how I will get a refund. Alternatively you can let me know who you are going to pay to install the part on the quad that never worked.

      thanks.

      Sincerely,

      Hello,

Thank you for your response. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Taking a look at your order I see your ATV was delivered unassembled in the crate as per your request. The option to have your unit shipped fully assembled and tested was declined. Please see attached order confirmation page. Assembling the unit and doing tweaks and adjustments are part of the Pre-Delivery-Inspection (PDI) that is required on any brand new vehicle prior to operating. This is recommended to be completed by a certified mechanic.

Although our terms and conditions state All Sales Final, we will make an exception to return your ATV for a full refund. Please have your ATV returned to our facility address below. Please ensure **** ****** is displayed on the outer carton to ensure the refund is processed in time and without delay.

I am rejecting this response because:

I would like to re open the complaint. I the bike not require tweaks and adjustments. The controller needed changed. It’s the main component of the vehicle and most expensive part. There is an implied warranty of merchantability USC 2-334. A company cannot send out an inoperable vehicle and say it costs extra to make it work. They also cannot say you have to incur excessive fees for return of the product.

      Thanks,

      Complaint: 18643375

I am rejecting this response because:

The bike was delivered with major factory components that are not operational. The replacement parts sent by the company was the wrong part. There is an implied warranty of merchantability. You can’t ship non operating equipment and then say “well if it doesn’t work you gotta pay to ship it back and we reserve the right to charge extra fees if not shipped properly. Will happily return the bike when provided shipping fees”.I worked in good faith with your company and you can’t provide a working bike or parts. If you are reading this and you have a similar issue check into small claims court, look up implied warranty of merchantability and your states consumer protection laws. It is also disingenuous of the company to say “small tweaks” when major components are faulty.

      Sincerely,

I purchased a brand new motorcycle with order ****** from Venom Motorsports on October 21, 2022 for $3,564 only to receive it and experience issues from day one. The motorcycle didn’t run or start for a month. And now it’s having battery issues that it shouldn’t be having. And I’m not the only person this has happened to. They have yet to solve the issues for me so that I can use the bike properly worry free.

I bought 2 motorcycles from Venom. One has a crazy vibration coming from the motor, the speedometer registers incredibly higher than actual speed and miles accrued. I even paid for a PDI that obviously wasn’t done properly or they would have found the engine issue at a minimum. The other came with defective front wheel bearings, the speedometer just bounces around over 20mph, the headlights both failed within a few seconds as I was on a dark road testing it at night. So that’s likely a voltage regulator that came defective. Their customer service is slow at best and they are extremely hard to get in the phone. I’ve tried calling many, many times and the sales line has only ever been answered once but I usually hang up after 10-15 minutes of no one taking the call. Just about the same on the customer service side. They scrub social media comments that are in anyway unflattering so it can be tough to find the truth out about the company. ***** their “******** ******* *******” said he “pulled some strings for me” to get a 150 labor credit. I’ve been told I can return the bikes at my cost and then get a refund. ***** has repeatedly said I have to do specific things to not get charged “fees” on the returns, promised to send instructional photos but didn’t in his email, just vague written instructions. I’m worried that they will try to find a bogus reason to not return my money. So I bought two defective bikes. I’m gonna lose a lot of money on them, just don’t know how much yet. I wish I’d never heard of this company let alone purchase from them. No integrity at Venom. Buyers beware.

      Complaint: 18390094

I am rejecting this response because:

*****, the ******** ******* *******, has repeatedly ignored requests for instructional shipping photos as he said he would send when on a call. My experience has been filled with half truths and outright lies from him. I have no faith that Venom wouldn’t make up excuses to credit less than full. ***** repeatedly warned of “fees” if the bikes weren’t shipped how Venom wants. I also don’t think it’s fair that I have to pay return shipping on 2 defective and unrideable bikes. I take a 500-1000 hit because I bought stuff that was defective? I even paid 300.00 for a PDI on a bike with serious motor related defects! I would like that, and the 150.00 credit that ***** said he”pulled some strings for. All of this is available from the email chain if you doubt me. I have asked for parts as fixing these and trying to sell seems to be the safest route towards recouping the money lost. Now, the trick is getting someone from Venom to respond and send the parts. No easy task but I hope it’s easier than getting information promised.

I will get a further diagnosis from a shop on the X20 but it needs at least a new speedometer (usually around 11-12mph off) and whatever parts for the motor. The X18 needs a voltage regulator, 2 new headlights, front wheel bearings and a new speedometer(it’s accurate until 20 mph and then bounces) I have videos proving all of this also.

Perhaps the Venom person reading this can issue the 450.00 refund (PDI 300 + 150 credit ***** claimed) and ship parts?

      Sincerely,

      ******* ******
