      Purchased two lightbulb cameras for security along with a sd card. Cost $106.95. Order was confirmed with a notice that we would receive another email with shipping info. On the order confirmation the order numbers were blurred out. Of course we haven’t received any other communication or any product. In addition there was an additional charge of almost $40.00 for something we have not idea what as we didn’t order anything else.

      Nature of Dispute:
      I placed an order as a baby shower gift. At the time, the item was listed as 'in stock' but when I later contacted the store to see if I could pick up the cutlery set in person, they indicated that there was an approximate lead time of 6 to 8 weeks. I have subsequent written correspondence throughout the following 14 months asking for updates as I still hadn't received my order. The business indicated lead times had increased due to the impact of the pandemic on supply chains - I was patient and understanding with this. Throughout this time the business continued to evade my requests for updates, and occasionally promised delivery within the month, or within two weeks etc. to no obvious conclusion. For example, in April 2022 they said it would be delivered within the month, in August 2022 they said it would be two weeks. The baby, for whom this gift was intended for, turned one in August 2022 (when I purchased the set, he had not been born). They sited the manufacturer in Europe was behind in production. In June 2022 I purchased the same set directly from said manufacturer and it arrived in less than two weeks - so evidently, the production line was in full operation. 14 months after I paid for this set, I informed the business that I would be contacting the *** if they did not issue a refund. They replied that they would do so on September 14th. It is now October 6th and I have yet to receive said refund, and so I am reporting my experience to you. I was more than fair with this business. A brief read of recent Google reviews indicates that this is not an isolated incident. I feel this is a completely unreasonable timeline, and that the business in question is not operating in a transparent and professional manner.

      The order was originally placed on a credit card that we had since canceled in December 2021. I hadn't realised this, though if the order had come in a timely manner, this wouldn't have been an issue to begin with. The funds were accepted by the institution despite the account being long since closed, so it was necessary to resolve this issue with the bank itself. The business did refund the full amount at my request. 



      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to ********* ** ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      I placed on online order on 13MAY2022 for $118.65. On 30MAY2022 the business contacted me to say they hadn’t received the item yet. I didn’t know at the time of placing the order that the item wasn’t in stock so I asked them if I could cancel the order and get a refund. I was told this is not possible. On 23JUN2022 I contacted the business again requesting an update as I still hadn’t received the item. On 24Jun2022 they responded saying they were expecting it to ship in 2 weeks. On 19JUL2022 I contacted the business again for another update and they couldn’t give me a date as to when the item is expected to arrive. I have been charged in full for this item and I have waited almost 10 weeks and I still don’t have an answer as to when I will actually receive the item I ordered. I want to cancel my order and get a full refund which they will not agree to.
