      I purchased a 2020 Toyota corolla SE in white on June,10, 2020 from Kingston Toyota. Fast forward to January 2022, I crashed my car on a snowy day and had to claim my ** **** *********. My car was written off in Late March 2022 and I received the settlement for the car. And ** asked me to sign my car ownership so we could finish the transaction and close the claim. It was at that point that I found out the VIN number on my ownership did not match the vin number on my car. The correct vin number for my vehicle is *****************, and the vin on my owenership is *****************. The mismatch of VIN number meant that ** could not close my claim, which meant that ** has been charging me for a monthly premium of around $200 for a car that had been written off. I have repeatedly tried to reach out to Kingston Toyota during the past 3 months to get this issue resolved, but nothing was done on there end. I have consulted service ontario and I was told that Kingston Toyota has the ability to fix my ownership as they are the party who registered it in the first place. I have reached out to the ******* ******* **** ******* and was told that Kingston Toyota has changed ownership and that they "lost all the data" from before. And I have reached out to the ********* ******* **** ******* in which she pulled up the information from her computer and told me taht my vin number was under someone else's name and said she would investigate into the matter. Since then, I have not been able to reach **** as she has not been answering my phone calls nor my emails. ** is adamant that I need to have my ownership issue resolved before they could close the case. Please help me to resolve this issue. Thank you.
