    I called and asked block pools back in February of this year for a qoute to redo our pool liner and for a safety pool cover. Tbe total I was given for the pool was $9472.72 this included 2 trucks of water at $1600.00. Safety cover at $3405.74. I assumed they knew with 57 years in the buisness that I expected to reuse my pool water. They are telling me they cannot leave their trucks on my property for 6 hours and that now if I want my pool full i would have to pay for two more truck loads. That would be $3200.00 for just water. I have given them up front $11, 000.00 and they have not started the work yet. Given my pool will not be full because i am not paying them $3200.00 for water when my pool is full now and a lake 5 minutes up the road. I want my full $11, 000.00 deposit back. No contacts were signed and the have yet to do tbe work. I paid back in February up front to be done in early end June beginning of July also. **** the salesmen said if I want to be early I better book soon. We are now in August. If I need two more trucks of water making the total $3200.00 for water then i want my $11,000.00 dollars refunded immediatly because I am on a fixed imcome of disability. Also when he mentions by email about needing another teucm load or 2 of water he said he could try? Try meaning he does not even sound confident about being able to get two more loads of water. Again if they are serious that they were going to do this and leave my property and me wondering were the rest of the water is??? I do not know a home owner who would of been looking for half the water. I expected my pool to be full they are telling me it will not be and that they can try try to book two more loads of water? I have email chains from start to finish. I will consider a full refund of $11, 000 as a reaolve or the pool done with it completly full of water like it is now.

    The cheque finally cleared today. As far as we are concerned the matter is over. However our attourney says they have made zero arrangements to pick up their tools. This puts us continulousy at risk. Attourney says we must remove tools as under by law our pool gate must be locked. So we took pictures as instructed and put their tools in our garage. We donnot appreciate the position they are putting us in there. Thank-you.

    On 2022/05/30 I contacted **** from Blok pools to ask for a estimate for an on ground pool. He did send one back and after shopping around, I went with his company and from there we discussed times, payments, locations ect. Today was the start of instillation and when ***** ************ came they levelled the ground, rather than dig. I contacted **** since the pool I wanted was half in ground and half above which I stated several times in many emails I was concerned. He told me he was putting in an above ground pool and the one I wanted was over $30,000 more. He clearly gave me the wrong price according to him and I did give a deposit of $1000 cash 3 days ago which he will not return. I would like my deposit back or I would like the pool I was quoted to get. He is saying the picture in the email was the pool I agreed to. I assumed it was a logo since I had asked for an on ground pool. He has been misleading in this fact and now not following through with what we spoke about. I do have the emails that state what I was wanting to purchase.

     ******** sent a e-mail may 30th requesting a quote on a 20-21' on ground **** sent back a quote for a 21' above ground that's what he thought she was talking about this was the last time on ground was talked about we sent a pool sheet stating what was included in the price of $11,797 + tax also we sent a pool agreement (contract) that clearly states 21' above ground pool witch ******** sent back a e-mail confirming this. it was not until we did the ground prep that she called and complained that she wanted a on ground. she said that the only reason she went with us is everyone else was over $27,000.00 I believe this to be a shake down to try to get a $30,000 pool for $11,797.00 we have offered her the deposit back minus the work that was done yesterday even though she agreed to buy a 21' above ground pool as it states in our pool agreement that she approved on June the 9th . please let me know if you would like me to send all corresponding e-mails and pool contract.

    I am rejecting this response because:I was never offered my deposit back at all. I was told that it covered the work done. It was stated in emails on June 9th and 10th that digging/excavating would be done. At this point, I do not want a pool from them, simply my deposit back and I would be fair enough in saying minus $50 for the work they did since my husband owns his own skid steer and could have gotten that amount of dirt from a friend for $50. If they are willing to accept returning $950 of my deposit, I’ll consider the matter closed.
