      * ***** **** **** ***** ** * *****. Worst customer service from a moving company I have ever experienced. And I've had a few moves. We had a small move (15 boxes and a bike) from Calgary to Victoria. Upon delivery in Victoria, we noticed that the bike was not included. THEY LOST IT SOMEWHERE!!! This was three weeks ago with no response from the mover. We have to go after them. Without a result. For three weeks! The only feedback we have received so far: we have to wait 10 weeks (!) for feedback. 10 weeks to find my expensive bike which they lost. **** ******* ** ******* ************ ***** ***** *** ******** **** ***** *********. I would NEVER hire them again.

      ** * ***** **** **** ***** * ****** After paying $10,000 to move from Nova Scotia to Ontario - most our things arrived completely destroyed. We lost thousands
      of dollars in damage. They refused to compensate us as we packed most things ourselves, however we were EXTREMELY careful and no matter how good you pack things, if the boxes show up broken to pieces and squished beyond recognition; no amount of packing will save them. * ****** *** *** *** ***** ***** **** **** ******** **** ***** ** ***** **** **** ****** **** *** *** *** **** **** **** ******** Even a reinforced closet box with a metal bar on the inside was broken beyond recognition. In the end we got * ******** $30 in compensation. This is after they originally offered us * ****** $200… but of course the majority of this was deducted into random extra fees.
      Everything in this company is hidden in the fine print- and that’s on us for not catching it, however this company takes ZERO pride in their work *** ****** *** ** ******* ** **** ********* **** ******* ** *** ***** *** * **** *** **** ** *** **** ***** **** ******** ***** ** **** ** *** **** *****

      Terrible company. Hidden/obscure fees; They damaged and lost some of my items and no compensation was provided (they offered a $20 "customer appreciation" settlement per their policy and terms). ****** **** **** **** *** ****** ***** *******. They literally threw my stuff in my apartment, asked me to do things for them (like remove protection blankets, etc - which I resisted to do), and were grumpy about bringing my winter tires to the storage unit. Of course, when the movers arrived, I had to pay the bill before they unloaded. And of course, the bill was higher than the original quote. I understand that the amount may vary, and I was expecting a difference, but not by that much. They will tell you that it is based on weight and give you the lowest rate to hook you, but the space your items take in a truck will be factored in as well in your billing . ****** **** **** **** ***** ***.
      I simply cannot understand how these companies are operating in Canada, ********* ******* ********* *** ****** ******** ****. I am looking into filing a complaint against this company.

      We hired Atlantic van company to leave Ontario and move to Nova Scotia. I had to send an E transfer of $1000 to hold our date .We had a two bedroom townhouse. No couches no appliances.. we had packed pretty much everything. The first quote was $2375, based on 4000 to 6000 pounds with a military discount off of weight charges. they also charged us a packing fee because they insist on saran wrapping some of our furniture which we had already wrapped also five wardrobe boxes. They said they had to put small things in the garage in.we were charge for. So then they told us it was 9820 pounds new quote $4994.00. And then there was a third quote to 9820lb for $4773.05 -220.95 military discount. And then the day before they arrived we got a call saying the total amount was $7212 48.left to pay. we had to go get a certified check and send them a picture of it.Then, when they arrived, he said he doesn’t open the truck until he has the certified check in his hand They drove right across our lawn, ripping up the lawn. They scratched our front door, and the man told us he was doing one dump he wanted to pile everything in the living room including our garage stuff. My husband told him if he’s doing one dump it’s going to be in the garage so that’s what happened. he carried my sewing machine upside down and it never worked after that. Also, my table was so scratched and my daughters bed was ripped. I did file a complaint sending pictures .also before we left the house we sold they scratch the brand new fridge and I sent those pictures also. They offered us $40 for the damaged items. Only one of them spoke English *** ** *** **** ****. . One of the worst experiences with a moving company we have ever had. and it took months for the complaint department to even get back to us and all they offered was $40 for all the damage. obviously we didn’t take the $40. because they also wanted us to sign a disclosure.

      we moved from Montreal to Summerland BC. we first contacted *** movers who did a great job. Todd our representive was knowlegeable , caring and helped with all the paperwork. The 3 gentlemen came and packed all of goods very carefully were very pleasant and did a great job.
      The move then went to Atlantic Van Lines to delivery to Summerland,BC. 2 men unloaded our goods and placed them wherever we asked Both were pleasant and worked quickly. Nothing was broken or missing

      Where to start. They sell you a service for a low price and by the end you will almost double it. I was billed for 149 items and received 129 back. I was assured that I would be charged by the weight but was charged by the container. I have moved before and have never had this sort of experience. The shape my things were returned would have a weak person have a heart attack. The men delivering my things rolled one of my boxes till it burst open. My things were not able to be placed in the rooms I wished but one area piled in ways that they fell and things were broken. The few pieces of furniture that were returned came back so damaged and with the smell of urine that they had to be thrown out. I lost all my coats plus half my cloths, Pictures that were packaged carefully came back with shattered glass and tattered. Most were stitched items that cannot be repaired or redone. More than half of my stitching supplies/ books/ threads/ linens/ wools, that have taken me years to collect have been ******. I was told by the men delivering my things that I accept items that were not mine, I refused and they made the move worse. I used moving boxes from **** ***** and ***** and I thank God I did, they took the punishment that should never have happened. Boxes looked like balls with holes and punch's. Most of the boxes were opened with things taken, the way I know is the tape that was used to reseal them. I have lost personal items that belonged to my parents that have passed on. Jen and Anita are the worst sort of people to deal with, the worst is they are the managers. The whole office as a whole should be replaced with people that show some form of care and understand customer service. This company should not be operating to cause untold grief, moves are stressful enough and Atlantic van lines makes the experience billions of times worse. **** *** *** ******* *******

      **** ** * ****** This company left us with $2500 in damages to our personal property. Intentionally caused by careless *** **** employees. They offered me $30 as a settlement offer.
      From the moment they arrived to unload our belongings, the employees were **** *** complaining. They were arguing with me! During the entire unloading process they were dropping items (first item off the truck was a tv and they dropped it) and literally running which caused damage to delicate items. Further, these *********** employees stacked heavy boxes on top of lighter ones, causing breakage. And they are supposed to be “professional”?
      Customer service is non-existent. They just dont care. Once they have your money its too late and too bad for the customer. They do what they want.
      I was never informed of upgraded insurance, so now they refuse to pay for my $2500 in damages caused by their reckless employees.
      Never again. They are not to be trusted with your belongings.

      They didn't pick up during the schedule window time nor the scheduled date!!! No communication either. The number they provided me to call for delivery- it's a disconnected number. I told them my move in date was Aug 19th. They won't start shipping until after that date. My stuff STILL has not left from the pick up state (I'm moving coast to coast). My new delivery date is Sept 15th. They guy *** ***** **** *** said me being without my stuff isn't his problem.

      NEVER, EVER USE ATLANTIC MOVING COMPANY, THEY ARE ALL THIEVES!!! A one star rating is far too much for this company!!! I asked Atlantic moving company to move 12 pieces from my moms estate from her home in Saskatchewan to my home in Tsawwassen, BC. Let me start this story by saying I used to be in the moving business days I know how it is supposed to work. The 12 pieces included 9 self packed boxes, a china cabinet, a wing back chair, and a live edge coffee table top. All of these items were tagged and listed, EXCEPT for the coffee table top. I was not available at the pick up of my pieces, but my sister was and she did not notice that the coffee table top was neither tagged nor listed. She did, however, watch the driver wrap and carry to the truck the table top. So 2 weeks later my pieces were delivered EXCEPT for my table top. I know for a fact that his driver and/or his helper, stole my table top. It is very obvious to me that right from the pick up of the pieces, they knew what they were loading!!! The company said they contacted the driver and he said there was no table top, however, I have the picture of the pieces to be picked up and there was the table top!!!!! I was given a lousy $30 as compensation for my stolen piece!!! Seriously? I just wanted my deceased moms table top back, it's a one of a kind very precious piece of my childhood. So I hope the piece of shit that stole my table top chokes on it!!!!
