the date of the communications was may 26 2025 as an email between *** ****** and CC'd to **** ********. The email confirms that the outstanding debt was paid in full May 30th 2025 and a letter of discharge will be sent to me. The email also says "thereafter have this updated on your credit bureau to reflect the account being paid in full and for it to no longer reflect as a derogatory account."
I have checked with both ********** and ******* and *** ******* **** ******** have not updated my file when the final payment was sent May 27th, they have not sent a letter of Discharge, nor have they contacted ********** or ******* to purge the account from my credit report. As *** ****** says "it will no longer reflect as a derogatory account" implies that FDR will purge the account from the collections section on my report. As derogatory is defined as showing "critical or disprectful" implies he would purge the account.
I expect *** ****** to maintain his stated intentions as I have continually made my payments on time, including when an FDR manager changed the agreement that I would pay $250 to $253.91 and I honoured that change, even though as written in the email "that they apologize for the mis-understanding"
FDR has changed the terms of the agreed payment amounts, not provided a letter of discharge, and has not purged my credit report of the derogatory account which was specifically written in the email as an action FDR will take.

I am filing a complaint against *** ********* *** FDR Financial Debt Recovery. I used to have a *** ********* Credit card. On June 7,2024 - I called and reported fraudulent transaction in my card/unauthorized used amounting to $5196.74 with *** then called again on June 15, June 20 spoke ******, just to make sure they cut my credit card but they did not do anything about my complain on July 30 at 11:30 I received a call from *** telling me they have closed the account for my ********** but they are asking me to pay the amount that I did not purschased. I have been receiving phone calls and emails from both companies telling me to pay even if I already reported it to them also I have reported this to Calgary Police **** ********* ****** **********.

FDR keeps on contacting me again and again about an alleged collection account with FDR Account **** *******, original creditor ****** ******** and Amount Owing as $1352.69. I have disputed this account with them and requested them to validate it multiple times through registered mails. However, they have continued their collection activities without responding to my debt validation letter. They keep calling me even though I had sent them with cease and desist letters. Recently, they emailed me threatening to sue me in the court if I didn't pay the account due to which I got afraid and agreed to pay. However, they can't collect an alleged debt from me without validating it properly. I want FDR to kindly provide me with the following -
• Competent documentation bearing my signature showing that I have (or ever had) any contractual obligation to pay them;
• What the money they say I owe is for;
• Explain and show me how FDR calculated what it says I owe;
• Prove the Statute of Limitations has not expired on this account;
• Show me that they are licensed to collect in my province;
• Provide me with their license numbers and Registered Agent number.
If they can't provide me with this proper documentation, I request that FDR immediately stops its collection activities on this account and compensate by paying me $5000 for the unnecessary trouble and harrasment they have caused me by threatening to sue me and calling me hundreds of times to strong arm me into paying this account.Business Response
