    Such a nightmare.****** ******* *** * ****** ** ** * ***** **** *** booked through UTO for their Japan and China 10 day vacation. The price was great ($499) so ** also added a few tours at their suggestion which then doubled the price but ** still thought it was a great deal. Needless to say ** waited an entire year to go on *** trip then about a month prior ** get a message stating that the trip was canceled and there would be no refund because ** didn't upload our passports. We never received any information saying that ** had to, after much begging ** **** able to get back *** ********** $6000 ** paid for the trip but in credit on their site. They told us that ** would be abke to re-book the trip by December, this never happened, then January, NOTHING. At this point ** have resigned ourselves to having lost our funds.

    **** *** ********* They cancelled my trip 2 weeks before it was scheduled to depart. Promised a refund over and over and never delivered it. Their customer service is terrible.

    *** ** * ***** **** ******* we booked a year and a half in advance, paid a portion, were contacted to try to dissuade us from doing the China portion of our trip, and then we’re never contacted again. ******** ********* **** ** *****. We had to upload a renewed passport and had to make a final payment, so 5 months before our trip was to happen, I searched UTO online to see how I could do that and my “account” said that it was pending. I had a VERY hard time reaching them, but when I did, I was told that I hadn’t made my final payment by the deadline and that they were cancelling my trip. If you look through their extensive online policies, it does say that final payment must be made 180 days out, but when we originally booked, we were told that we should make our final payment when we uploaded the renewed passport. Final travel arrangements are made much closer to the actual trip dates with other legitimate companies. UTO’s “agents” are given strict scripting to say that nothing can be done and that they are keeping any money that you have paid so far. They say that there are no managers to speak to and that no one can call you back to discuss. Even if they do offer a credit, take a look at the outrageous prices shown on their website.     Unable to use credit from a previous trip as planned on another trip. They wanted me to use the credit on a new- third vacation reservation in order to use a 250 dollar credit. No thank you. * ********* ***** ***** ** *** ******* ******** ******** ***** ** ***** *** ** ** *** *** *******

    Paid in full one year in advance for four of us to go to China for a total of $2000
    Three weeks before the trip UTO canceled with a phone call.
    They were completely unreachable by phone or email there after. Hours were spent trying and only on one occasion during a Internet chat did someone promise a refund in 6 to 8 weeks. There was no written communication.
    Of course they did not refund the money after waiting eight weeks and ********* did not help either.
    Luckily my credit card did finally reimburse me.

    **** ******* ** * ****. They cancelled my trip, won't give me a refund. Instead gave me a credit that will expire soon. They won't extend the credit either and said it's just not refundable period.

    The office is located where warehouses are in Canada. They have another name **** ******* *******, also it’s accreditation was revoked.
    The president of UTO is Mr. Chis C.
    “Online appointments only. Onsites services are not available” it says. *** *** ****** **** ******** ** ******** ******* ** **** ******* *********** *** *********  You will get clear picture. Collects money > cancels trips > keeps money.
    Too numerous to count when you estimate with families and friends associated.
    ************* ***** You cannot upload passport on the site anyway and they cancels your trip because of lack of documentation. They provide long overnight layover flight schedule and ********* you to upgrade. They charge tips that doesn’t go to guides or drivers if trips are made. The four emails I received from are all different names.
    Trips in cyber…. How many in reality?
    They have a lengthy terms and conditions from page 7 to 52.
    How their terms and condition can be affective for the non-existent trips?
    They cancels trip, issues credit for other trips, cancels it again. By that time people loose time to dispute with their credit cards company. UTO keeps money.

    We tried to take advantage of a very inexpensive trip to China/ Japan in the fall of 2023. They started to encourage us to cancel months in advance stating China was dangerous. We refused to cancel. Just a few days before the trip was supposed to start they canceled on us and refused to return our $. I chatted online and called their office. I mentioned their licensing office in Canada and requested that my credit card company get my money back. WE GOT OUR MONEY BACK.

    I booked a tour on UTO Vacations. What happened then was a nightmare. The trip was cancelled and they would not return my deposit. Later on I spoke to there Manager David who had me book another tour and pay an additional $720. I paid it and then later found that they took my money but never booked any tour for me. **** * ***** ** ***** ** **** ** ** ***** **** ** *** ** ****** ** * **** ** *********** *** *** ** ******** **** **** ** **** ***** **** **** ************ ** ** ******* **** ******* ** *** ***** *** *** ****** **** ***** ****** ** ***** ***** **** **** ***** **** ***** *** never return any calls or emails. ***** ***** ** ** * ********** **** ** **** * **** ***** ***** they ***** my money and never booked any tour for me. ********
