    ***** ***** ****** ******* They make these cheap destinations too good to pass up. Then, you go ahead and pay, then they send you a very confusing email. You want your refund, UTO only offers credit vouchers, it’s the only option they give you. **** * *** ****  By the way they assumed I wasn’t going on the China/Thailand trip because I didn’t upload the passports which was on the confusing second paragraph of the email. ****

    I booked and paid for my trip entirely more than seven months before the trip departure day.
    Five months and twenty days before the trip departure day (175 days before to be exact), I found out that my trip has been moved to a waiting list. It was unpleasant surprise, because before that day I received no notifications about changes of status of my trip. Then I found out that the Cancelation Policy has also been changed without any notifications. (Cancelation policy is hidden into Terms and Conditions. Read it before pay! ** ** * ***** **** *** *** ********** There is no link to the Cancelation policy on the Book and Pay page. I had seen the UTO Cancelation policy for the first time on my invoice after the trip has been paid.)
    As a result of that discovery, I did not trust the UTO Vacation any more, and canceled my trip.
    I received a Cancel & Refund email. In the email they stated that cancelation penalty is 50% of the price of the trip. After I filed to dispute transactions on my credit card, penalty was increased to 100% of the trip price. Cancelation email is attached.
    I paid to the UTO Vacation for their services. I received no service from the company, I canceled trip more than five months before the trip departure day (174 days to be exact), but they wants all the money I paid for the trip as a penalty.
    I will never use the UTO Vacation again.

    ********** ** * *** **** ***** **** **** **** ****** Approximately 2 years ago I booked a trip to China with them. They have changed the trip dates to dates when I cannot go. They ignore my requests for refund. That is right... they just ignore my requests.. they don't provide any resonse what so ever.     **** ******* ** * ***** they continue to lure unsuspecting customers to their so-called promotional tours only to cancel it after they got your deposit money and with their non-refundable policy you have no choice but to spend 3x times more on expensive tour or ended up losing your deposit, it's a trap and they are continuing to do that on customers days after days. ****** **** ******* ******* *********** ***** ** ** **** *** ** **** *** ** ** ******** **** *****

    ****** ** *** **** ***** ** ***** **** ******* *** *** ****** **** *** ********. they took 11 of us money for the trip package to China Thailand and Cambodia and then telling us they send an email to all of us in the group, and we did not receive it. After they receive our money, they and advise us to choose the extended package as additional to secure our tours because it might be fill up, if we wait until last minute and give us until June to complete the payment, now they are telling us we forfeit the contract. ****** ** *** *** ***** **** *** *********** *** ********** ** * ***** **** **** * **** **** ******* **** **** ***** ** *****

    Advertised flights and 4 star hotels for a trip. Flights didn't arrive at destination till day 3. 4 star hotels they booked has stained sheets, mold in bathrooms, and smelled of cigarettes.
    Upcharged for everything and did not provide services they charged extra for. ********* ***********

    Purchased a China/Thailand trip that we now are not permitted by China to do and UTO will not refund our money! I received an email stating that our trip was suspended because China is not accepting VISAs for travel over 144 hours. The email indicated we could cancel and request refund which we did. Three weeks later, we received a phone call from them saying we would be refunded only HALF of our deposit! **** ******* ** ****** ****** ** *** **** ******** **** *****

    My husband and I have an upcoming trip to Paris. My husband is not feeling well. I have tried to see if I can change the name on the airline ticket to go with a friend instead. The response I got was they would treat it like a cancelation, and keep my full cost and then charge me $300 on top of that as a single supplement even though I would be paying for 2 already. When I talked to them on the phone they outright refused to change the name on the ticket saying it is too late, since we are leaving in three weeks.     * **** ** *** ***** ** * ***** **** ******** ***** * ****** This has been the worst experience ever. Booked a trip to China in 2020. Pandemic hit switch location to Thailand in Oct 2020, world was still crisis delayed trip again. Borders closed. Asked for refunded multiple times. We paid money so we just chugged along. Finally thought we hit a bright light and could go to Thailand. Nope. We never received any information for traveling arrangements. Was told at that point we needed to fill a document out that was past due yet was never told about this so
    Called document. They just take your money are greedy and have the audacity to ask for me. I just want my money back.
