We chose High Stream Moving based on their rating and **** ********** reviews to move our belongings from Ontario to Alberta. On the day of the move, we had a scheduled appointment for 1pm. The 2 gentlemen didn't arrive until 4:40. We called several times throughout this waiting period to find out where they were. This showed a lack of respect and commitment to us and our time. We were given an ETA of 10-14 days for delivery. On day 10 we still had not heard from High Stream so I emailed to get an update. Stacie replied that they had no new information to share but she would communicate with us promptly when she had an update. Day 15 comes and there is still no word from Stacie. We called and spoke to Stacie on the phone. She informed us that they were waiting to pick up another client's stuff on April 30th who was also moving to Alberta and we would share the truck. On May 5th and we still have not heard from Stacie. I sent an email asking for an ETA. 4 days passed with no reply from Stacie. It felt like they were avoiding our calls. We called multiple times from our personal number, but as soon as we tried from a different number Stacie picked up the phone. Stacie informed me by email that the schedule pick up on April 30th was cancelled due unforeseen circumstances so our belongings have not left Ontario yet. We are informed that our belongings cannot be moved as it did not full a truck. We have to wait for another client to book with High Stream who also happens to be moving to Alberta.  It is almost 1 month and they still have our stuff. We decided to have a friend retrieve our stuff as we had lost all trust in High Stream and with what Stacie is telling us. We asked for the invoice and they added extra fees! $300 storage fee for circumstances completely out of our control, $180 truck fee and 4.5hrs for labor even though it was way less than that. They offered no compensation and took no responsibility.
